Food is always well seasoned and cooked to order. Wants to be go wrong with that. Definitely give it a shot.

Food was fresh but flavor was very mid. Service was quick and friendly. Definitely pricey for the volume and taste. Was a take out only so many really score the atmosphere but seemed clean enough. White rice was very dry, broccoli beef was mainly broccoli. Shrimp and lobster sauce was ok as well shrimp was cooked well as were the veggies. Sauce was bland and if I didn't know it was lobster sauce I would never of guessed. Steamed pot stickers were very good. I'd say if you are craving some Chinese food you could do worse. If you are from New York City, then your rating will be low because this food will be very different from what you are used to and maybe not taste as good, but you're in another state and region so embrace the difference. I've been here a couple times. Straight forward restaurant. I place my order on the telephone and go in to pick it up. They always get my order right and my food is always hot. This last time I had fried chicken wings and chicken fried rice. The wings were crunchy and seasoned well and the fried rice was tasty. Loved sunny wok in Dallas (oak cliff) they had so good sliced sweet ribs I miss them... buuuuuut skillman wok has the whole sweet rib and I must say it's pretty good my son loves the orange chicken and fried rice my husband is very fond of the sesame beef(he's been looking for that for awhile) and white rice we've been a couple of time since we've been out here definitely recommend read more

My last delivery got egg foo young plus orange chicken, combo fried rice and crab Rangoon. Crab Rangoon is really sweet didn't care for it combo rice and orange chicken excellent. Egg foo young you get 3 Pattie's they are large. My very last pattie had a bunch of egg shells. I now know they actually make them instead of frozen but the shells? A let down. I have got food here 3 times. First two were ok. I had general tso's or orange chicken. I cant quite remember. The third time though, I got lemon chicken cutlet and it was ROTTEN. It was sour. It was absolutely revolting. Why are they serving rotten chicken? I called them and complained, I didn't wanna make the trip up there again, and they sounded like it was almost normal! The person on the phone said "yeah just come in next time and we'll give you something for free" Well I did not go in again lol. That told me everything I needed to know about this place. The General Tso chicken is made how it's supposed to be , crispy and flavorful. It was so good one of the best General Tso platters I've tried in Dfw. The cashew chicken wasnt my favorite only because of preference but it didn't taste bad at all. It was $30 in total for 2 egg rolls 2 spring rolls , General Tso Entree & Cashew Chicken Entree and lo mein + delivery. Their veggie stir fry, hot and fresh, was served in proportions so abundant as to border on the comical or absurd. I briefly pondered how they stay in business giving away so much food for $5 and some change. Aside from that, it's a simple carry out wok. Call your order in because there's nowhere inside to dine and only two dilapidated chairs to sit in should you choose to wait. OK...So I'm from the Bay Area Ca. where THE BEST AUTHENTIC food is in my opinion. I've had some ok here in TX. But man, finding this place Skillman Wok is THE BEST I've had since Cali. We have had the beef egg foo yung, Beef and Brocolli, Orange Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Crab Rangoon, Shrimp Fried Rice and MY NOW FAVORITE HOT AND SOUR SOUP...OMG!!!! My hubby and I dream about it sooo much....This is now are GO TO SPOT. We have left Yes Buffet behind. Last time we were there it had changed and it was a waste of money. The cost at Skillman is very good in comparison and they give you ALOT of food. Enough for 2 days for hubby and 3 days for me or I share with my sister and son and still have some left. We were supposed to have some on Friday as our treat but I was phening for some soup and he was phening for some Beef so we ordered some on Wednesday....We will probably still order on Friday. I moved to Arlington a few months ago. A few days ago I was craving Chinese food and so I ordered from here and picked the food up. Oh my god I have never had worse Chinese food! I used to live in Azle, southern middle-of-nowhere, and our local Chinese place was better than this. First off: I ordered the lemon chicken. I got a super dry breaded chicken cutlet with no sauce. How is that "lemon"??? It was just a very thin fried chicken breast. Tasteless and rubbery. I was amazed at how gross it was. I tossed it in the trash. No lemon sauce to be found. Don't order this. Second: my egg rolls came with "sweet and sour sauce" that was in a container. It's consistency was like low-budget jello. It tasted bad. I heated it in the microwave for a minute, no change, it just got hot. Tried another minute or two. It never melted. Still the same solid mass and weirdly jiggly and crumbly. I ended up using a sweet and sour sauce from my fridge that I bought at Kroger a few months ago because I didn't trust the skillman wok stuff. Third: I ordered fried rice. My rice was, to be frank, white rice MAYBE dipped in soy sauce. Nothing else. No egg pieces or any other ingredients or veggies that you would expect when you pay EXTRA MONEY for fried rice at a restaurant. Just gooey slightly brown rice. My god. If I could give less than one star I would give negatives. It's been a very long time since I've dumped takeout food in the trash and starved at work rather than eat it, that's how bad this food was. I paid $30 for two meals and trashed most of it. I didn't regret it. I don't understand how the food is so bad, I'm not an amazing chef myself but I'm decent and can follow instructions and I know I could make "Chinese food" better than these people. You have to be actively trying to make bad food or be cutting severe corners financially to get these results. DO NOT EAT HERE read more

I love the managers special its orange chicken with an egg roll and 2 crab rangoons. Its so freaking good. It does me good to see this place still in business. Its been fours since I have been here. So for now on this my place to eat Chinese food when I am in Arlington. Only down side is that this place is delivery and carry out only. We never really go out of our norm when ordering, but what we do get, we love over and over. I'm a huge fan of their Egg Fu Young and Crab Rangoon's, YUM! The portions are always wonderful, and since we're regular customers, they throw extras in from time to time. If I had any complaints, it would be the egg rolls. They aren't the best, or even good.
