I have been going here since I was little. My family and I used to know the previous owner who passed away years ago and he was just so sweet, always giving me candy as a kid and saying hi. Not only he would greet guests and help staff personally, he would show up and work the counter. This ABC dim sum was my most favorites. To the chicken feet, shu mai, pecking duck isntop tier, viet shrimp noodle with soy sauce and huge crispy shrimp balls, this place always leaves us full and satisfied! This place also has party options and dinner style for dinner, and the fish and crab dishes are sooo good. The sweet and sour soup and egg drop soup are my all time favorites for soup but nothing beats the oyster sauce clam dish!! The workers don't speak much english so give them slack if they seem rude, thats just their culture, I never really had any bad experiences really. They were all nice and friendly. The place is years old with a few renovations over the years for more space and even new chairs and perhaps an little run down restroom but other than that the ambiance is the best for what it is!! read more

ABC Seafood is my grandkids favorite dimsum restaurant and they will only eat their shrimp balls and shumai. Any other place they will not eat. Its a ways for us coming from Keller, but worth it every time. Sometimes my nephew will drive to pick up and bring home for us some weekends, which is always a treat for the 18mos old that doesn't like longer than 30min car rides. They've renovated some and did away with the lazy-susan in the middle of the table, which I think was unfortunate especially for short arms people. Note that this is a review for a weekday lunch. Can't speak to how everything is during the chaos of the weekend. It had been a long time since we've been to ABC Seafood and I'm not so sure why, but this place is definitely back on our radar. Each time we've been here on a weekday, it's been completely empty, which at first made us a bit weary, until the food came. All of the dim sum was made fresh, so each and every item was perfectly crispy and perfectly steamed. On the flip side of that, it can take some time to get your food out, so be prepared to wait a little bit. Wanted to call out the steamed rice rolls in particular, as those tasted freshly made and definitely different from all your "typical" dim sum spots. The roll was perfectly chewy and light. Service was alright each time we went, but again, this was a weekday and the place was essentially empty each time. My favorite dim sum restaurant in DFW. They have the shumai with quail egg on top which is my favorite! They also have some classic Chinese dishes that are delicious. It's been a long time since I've revisted. Heard they renovated/updated so decided to give it a try again. I'm glad to see that it's improved quite a bit! Glad that I don't have to drive outside of Arlington to get a quick dim sum craving anymore. The carts coming around can be a little slow but that's a given if it's busy. If something isn't on the carts for dim sum, you can place an order in (be ready to wait 15-20+min though). Workers are always nice. What a great experience in every way. We haven't been here for over 6 years and decided to give it a try, since it was renovated in 2024. Upon entering we were seated right away on a Saturday afternoon. This was great. I noticed though after 30 minutes of our table sitting down they started to get really busy. We came at the right time. We were greeted right away by our server and the ladies with the dim sum cart. The items look so fresh and yummy. We grabbed Chinese broccoli, har how, shumai, sticky rice, crispy shrimp ball, and we ordered salad and pepper squid. The dim sum was very delicious and made fresh. We also ordered the crab fried rice. Omg it was a big portion of rice with pieces of five mess crab that was fried. This was enough for 6 people. We couldn't finish it and had to take it to go. Finally back to this place after several years. They have made improvements inside the restaurant, I am happy to note. The inside looks spacious, tank is gone. New decor. Service is about the same, I see familiar faces except for the owner. He is no longer at the register. Food tastes great - we had dimsum faves like shumai, bean curd with pork, pork bun, fun roll ! This has been our favorite dim sum restaurant for over 10+ years. The ladies have always been so hospitable and sweet to our family and the food is always delicious. They renovated their restaurant in summer of 2024 and re-opened their restaurant recently. It looks immaculate -- the restaurant looks much cleaner and brighter. Every time I'm in Texas, I have to stop by ABC before I leave. Everything in their dim sum menu is pretty standard. There are items I like (house fried rice, pork turnovers, etc.) and items I don't like (egg tart, shrimp ball, etc.) but the one thing that always has me coming back regardless of my experience or the soggy food is the orange glazed short ribs!!!! They are so freaking good and I literally crave them every time. If you're here, make sure you order those orange glasses short ribs. There were only a few tables seated and we were one of the last small families to sit. The place is a little dated, but you can tell they've been serving food for large groups a long while. I didn't inquire however it appeared they can accommodate large parties (when permitted again after the pandemic). I've been coming here for many, many years for their dim sum. I heard there was a change in ownership so I was nervous when I came in this past weekend. Walking in, I recognized most of the staff so that was reassuring. The former owner was missed though. He was always nice to our family whenever we came in. The dim sum here is pretty solid. The siu mai, har gow, and shrimp rice paper rolls are our go-tos. My personal favorites though are the sticky rice and congee. Ordering off the menu, we always get the orange beef and the garlic snow pea leaves. I like that they offer different hot teas and not just jasmine. The service is a hit and miss, but we've gotten used to it. For the most part, it's fine. The place is big enough to easily accommodate large parties. They have a great catering menu as well for your party needs (crab fried rice!). But as I mentioned, I come here for dim sum so if you're craving some, definitely check this place out. read more

Family wanted Traditional dim sum in Arlington and that's what we got! The service was as expected from any dim sum restaurant, fast and direct. The space is also large enough to fit multiple big parties. My only peeve was that the carts didn't come around a lot and we had to ask for a menu for non dim sum items.
