This evening I ate at the PF Changs in Arlington Texas. The staff was great but the food was well below subpar, at best. For the appetizer we ordered the vegetable spring rolls. They were cold in the middle. I ordered the Lobster and prawns with the fried rice. The lobster (pieces) were WAY too salty. I expected to get an entire lobster tail. Instead it was salty diced up lobster meat that was served in lobster tail. My dinner companion ordered the Teriyaki Trio. A long hair was found in her food. The server took it back for a remake. On our last visit, problem after PROBLEM with using ANY of the supposed "great" deals which had been emailed to us. Also, the "Chang's Cash" which we had accumulated was denied. Messaging through the company's website went unanswered, so I finally filed a complaint through the BBB. Unbelievably, they also DIID NOT ANSWER that, either! I ordered and picked up PF Chang's for my family's Christmas Eve dinner, and I felt really great about the whole ordering and pick up process. I know you can order through door dash or uber eats, and I believe they even deliver themselves directly. Because our order was pretty big, I wanted to pick it up myself. That way I could check it on the spot before heading home and be super-sure we had everything we asked for. I need to feel extra secure for a big order that has to be gluten free! Making my order on P.F. Chang's website was so, SO easy and I really loved how specific I could be. When you order through a third party website, you can't always orchestrate your order as specifically as you'd like. Navigating the gluten free options was super simple, and you also have the ability to remove or add certain ingredients. You don't won't celery in your fried rice? One click and it's gone! You want to add extra chicken to your Chang's spicy chicken order? Easy. You want 1.5 servings of lettuce wraps with extra iceberg lettuce instead of romaine, or vice-versa? Done! I was able to get very specific and see my order clearly laid out in front of my eyeballs. Then I went to pick it up, and every little request had been met. Definitely a family favorite. Food is all pretty great. I'm a big fan of the beef dishes and always a fan of lettuce wraps. You really can't go wrong. Just shy of like gourmet Chinese but all in all good. Wouldn't go for sushi if you're a big sushi head but it's still really good for average sushi. Staff is always great. Ambiance is nice. The food was fast and delicious. The location was nice and clean. They were already in the holiday spirit with the decorations which I loved. It was nice quiet, clean dim lighting service was good ordered off their lunch menu and their dinner menu tried their new margarita very delicious and a Japanese old fashion. They do have a good lunch combo get to pick from a salad eggroll veggie roll. Then your next pick is white rice, brown rice, lo mein and then you pick your protein. Ordered take out from here and it was not good. PF Changs used to be a nice place to dine, but it has gone downhill. The plates are way over priced for the amount of food, and the way that they packaged the to-go made it undesirable. The packaging for the take out had two separate compartments, but they crammed all the food into one side and left the other side empty. So they put the rice on the bottom and the entree on top of the rice, completely smothering the rice in sauce making it too soggy. They should have put rice on one side and the entree in the other compartment and let the customer mix the two to their liking. I know it's a preference thing, but I'm not one of those people that loves to douse rice in sauce and I know there are people that love to, so the shouldn't automatically do that. I ended up not able to finish the food because it was overly sauced and salty, which was a shame for how much I paid for it. There was so much sauce on the rice that it left an unpleasant coat in my mouth. My advice would be to maybe write in the notes of your order to not combine the rice, but I'm not going to order from here again. read more

Went for our normal Friday night out dinner we had reservations and was seated immediately and we were waiting on 2 friends who showed up 2 minutes after us! The waiter came asking for our order with the drink order none of us were ready to order! He brought our drinks and hovered asking for our order! They were not busy so not sure about the rush we still had one looking at the menu! Instead of giving her another few minutes he waits and wants to go around the table she does decide and orders also however we did not like the rushed feeling! The food was not very good especially for the price you pay it is very pricey there! All of us had different meals and we all felt the same way! I'm sorry I do not recommend this place! We come to this location a lot so i will keep my rating a 5 and assume today was a one off. All pics at first are from previous visits the last few months. The last was today. Dishes piled up all around us and took forever to get refills and to even pay at the end. The waitress we had said she was new so that might have been some of the issue. The place was mostly empty and the wait to get a table when we left was long. Maybe they are low in staff? Might wait a minute before heading back here so they can work it out. I've never written a review for this place before because it's really hit or miss. Sometimes the food is good, but other times it's so bad that I'm surprised they're still open. Unfortunately, my last two visits have been disappointing. This time, the egg roll came out hot on the outside, but the inside was still cold, which tells me it was frozen. The lo mein had zero flavor and actually tasted old. They were also serving Korean fried chicken -- it was crispy, but that's the only good thing I can say about it. On top of that, the restaurant didn't feel clean, with food and trash scattered on the floor. At this point, I can't recommend this place. They keep trying new recipes that don't work, and the overall quality just keeps going downhill. read more

We were seated right away and yet waited for more than 15-20 minutes with no one stopping by not even to say we will be right with you. Several servers passed by and made no eye contact but were seen chatting among themselves or with other customers. Just as I was preparing to stop someone my husband said, let's leave. Lettuce wrap was perfect. Ryan came back to my table with several times. To see that I need refills on my soda and also to see if I need anything else . He assured me if I did not like what I ordered. Then he would make sure I am pleased but my next entry. The lettuce wrap was absolutely delicious. My first time ever trying them.! So disappointed. Used to be one of my favorites. Quality has gone way down. I used to love the tempura green beans. They tasted like they had been sitting out a long time, not freshly cooked. Apparently, the hostess had gone home, so I waited at the front for five minutes. And then I asked someone if they were still seating he said yes. He sent me down and gave me a free lettuce wrap as an apology. Which is just yummy and then I got two amazing waitstaff, Mason and Tandy... they are supposed to be training but together they are the incredible duo. When we come by and ask you something and then the other one just turned up with it it was amazing. Great teamwork. P.F. Chang's is beautiful and is a very calming place to be at. I had the Singapore street noodles, which were just the right amount of curry and spice. I wouldn't call them spicy, but they are tasty. I also had the crab wontons which were delicious and light and crispy, and not too much cream cheese with no crab, which is my problem with other ones. My grandsons and I looked forward to returning to this restaurant after a pleasant experience a year ago. We had excellent food and a waiter who was friendly and comfortable with people - at ease in his own skin. This current visit was the complete opposite of. Unfriendly hostess, and wait staff who all looked as if they were in training. Very short and stiff conversation, little eye contact or smiles - felt awkward. While the lettuce wraps were excellent, the fried rice was very dry and tasteless, and the orange chicken was dry and dull tasting. Quite a disappointment to the three of us, and definitely not worth the price. We will never pick this location again, and we hope all your locations haven't deteriorated to this level. read more

Very friendly, upbeat, on top of everything, brought our food out quickly, refilled our drinks...I could go on and on about how awesome he made our visit! I wish I could remember his name to fully give him the credit he deserves! Now for the food: the entrees were nothing short of exceptional; full of flavor, steaming hot, super fresh and absolutely delicious! Our dessert was not only beautiful, but a 10 out of 10 on the flavor scale as well! The only thing that was less than perfect was the hot and sour soup. It was piping hot but had no flavor, no 'hot' flavor, and was very thick and almost gelatinous and loaded with tofu. We let our server know and he took care of it for us and apologized which is all we could have asked for. Bonus points for allowing us to be seated on the patio with our tiny fur baby! P.F. Chang's is alright with me. I mean you're definitely gonna pay more for your food than over Asian food spots but the quality is always there. I had a sweet and spicy chicken bowl with brown rice and a couple crab wontons. The portion size was smaller than I expected considering it was $19 but (shrug). I know these guys are hurting and they've really used to make some great food but tonight I ordered chicken fried rice. They have a special with the free delivery so I thought I would try that. I'm not sure when they decided that carrots are great and fried rice, but they're not in here. The delivery was spot on. They followed the directions and they delivered on time if it was just on that, I would give them five stars. Unfortunately, based on the food, I can't believe they gave me a ton of food, but it's not anything I would want to eat. It's disgusting. It's a little bit spicy which I did not order and it's got a ton of carrots in it which I don't understand why they would put , shredded carrots, fried rice there's hardly any chicken in it.
