Fortune cookie and two crispy veggie egg rolls.
kila c.

From the moment I walked in it brought back very good memories! It has been so LONGG since I've tried this place. A family member of mine recently had a baby and I wanted to bring her lunch, she had already been eyeing this place so I decided why not let her try it. Just my luck I caught their daily lunch hour from 11am-3pm! To go I ordered the Shrimp with Broccoli and an order of Sesame Chicken! Both were served with a veggie egg roll, fried rice and a fortune cookie all for under 20$. The proportions were pretty decent and I even got a side of spicy sauce to add to my liking. Definitely worth every single penny and look forward to dining in again soon! So happy this hidden gem's ambiance hasn't changed.

I have never been disappointed in this splendid restaurant! My husband and I have been coming here for the past 20 years. General Tso' s, Lomein, Egg fu young, Beef & broccoli, Kung Pao Chicken and many more... my husband loves mushrooms and they do add mushrooms to the dish if resquested... I don't like mushrooms... but he does. I have ordered takeout frequently, they are fast and accurate. We have dined in a few times and wait staff are professional, helpful and kind. It is generally not full of diners, but there's always a steady stream of to go customers. We live nearby and order takeout more often. If you don't like mushrooms and are ordering Egg fu yung be sure to request no mushrooms. I like that they are open until 10, which comes in handy when I have a late day at work. Lunch menu is also great, good prices and serving sizes. I love the egg rolls. I'm generally not a fan of fried spring rolls, but their spring rolls are good, I just prefer egg rolls. The soups are good, I get the egg drop soup, my husband and My dad likes the hot and sour soup. (I don't order it because it has mushrooms) I enjoy the egg drop soup immensely, of I'm under the weather and need quick take out it's a comfort. The restaurant has a nice large dining area and large windows to look out at Cooper St. &Sublett street traffic. Lovely light from the windows and it is always cheery.

Well this is sad. I thought the food was pretty good until I found this bug in my rice. Disgusting! Will not be going back, seems like food safety is not a priority here!

Haven't been there for several years; however, I still want to try again as the experience went well and the food and service was very good.

I never had a bad meal here. The Imperial shrimp and chicken is my favorite. Go for it I think you will like it.

Great food, great service--at an affordable price. This is the place to go for excellent Chinese takeout in South Arlington.

It's good that the lunch specials are cheap because the food is awful. I actually wondered if the chicken was bad. Never ever again

Bethany Cafe noooo you guys changed the fries! I would come here all the time for the thick crispy…read morefries but now they're thin...change them back please!! Other than this new concern, I personally find this place a "comfort spot". Not high quality Asian food but the best "B grade" Asian food there is in Arlington. I enjoy the portions, the taste but most importantly, their drinks!! I especially love ordering their Oreo Shake (even better than other boba tea places) and their Strawberry Milk Tea. Service is always spectacular. They are fast and friendly! I've also ordered online before and the food is always hot and ready by the time I arrive there. If you have kids, they will enjoy the arcade connected to the restaurant. Seriously though...the change in fries makes me sad. If I come back, it will be for the drinks.

I always get the orange chicken fried rice here and it has never disappointed me. The portion sizes…read moreare huge here and each combo is enough for two meals. Each combo comes with a free tea (black/green/milk). The service here is quick and straight to the point. I like this place because it is quick and a great value for decent food. I wouldn't say this is the best food I've ever had but I enjoy it as it brings me back to my college days when they used to have a location near UT Dallas years ago. I deducted a star as the restaurant itself had a chemical smell in the dining area, otherwise I recommend getting it to go and enjoying it at home. Parking here should be fairly easy, there is a parking lot in front of it but be careful not to park in front of the business in front of it. This is located down the street from UT Arlington.

I believed the online hype about the St. Louis-style rice, so I decided to give this place a try…read more It's located in a shopping strip next to a barbershop and a salon. I ordered the St. Louis rice combo with an egg roll, Kung Pao chicken, and chicken wings. Appetizers: The egg roll was okay -- I'd give it a 3/5. The chicken wings were also just okay and a little greasy -- 3/5. Kung Pao Chicken: It was spicy, but very bland overall. I'm used to a darker, richer sauce, but this one was very light and didn't have much flavor -- 1/5. They do give you a generous portion, though. St. Louis-Style Rice: It came out hot and included bean sprouts, which a lot of places don't do anymore, so I appreciated that. The rice was dark, but even with steak, chicken, and shrimp, it still lacked flavor -- 2/5. The prices are good, service is fast, and there's plenty of space if you want to dine in. That said, it's not worth going back for me, but I'm glad I tried it.

As a St. Louis native, I had to try this spot's STL-style fried rice, and it definitely scratched…read morethat itch! It's a charming "hole-in-the-wall" place that reminded me of home, and it was noticeably clean. I'll definitely be back for more. What I Loved First off, the fried rice had that perfect dark hue it's supposed to have, and I was thrilled that peas and carrots were excluded. The portion size was incredibly generous - you get a lot for your money. I also really appreciated that the lady who helped me was upfront about them not having red pepper packets or sweet and sour sauce. Room for Improvement While I enjoyed my meal, there are a few things to note. The STL-style fried rice isn't actually on the main menu; you have to know they make it and ask for it, which seems a bit odd and makes me wonder why they don't advertise it more. And though I appreciated the heads-up about the missing condiments, they really need to stock red pepper packets and sweet and sour sauce. Duck sauce is a decent substitute, but red pepper is a must for this kind of dish. My rice also lacked bean sprouts and green onions, which was a disappointment. I'd recommend skipping their crab rangoon and homemade sweet and sour sauce; neither was very good. Finally, I ordered two large chicken fried rice orders and asked for no eggs in one, but both orders came without eggs, even though only one was marked "no eggs." Overall, it's a promising spot for St. Louis-style fried rice, and I'm looking forward to seeing these minor issues addressed
