We used to live in HK before we moved to the USA to reunited with my whole families for good. To be very honest...their foods are AWESOME!!! Exactly almost 99% taste like the foods in HK local places. I have been missing those foods for years!! Besides...my only sister (older sister) used to eat Chinese food with me in some Asian places/restaurant and she loved HK style foods! My only sister passed away 2 years ago from Leukemia (blood Cancer)...my whole world cut into pieces.... I wished my sister still alive so I could have took her to this place, and I'm definitely a 100% sure she would love this place! Every time I come to this place...it reminds me of her ...I wished I'd found this place much earlier. I definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone who is looking for some HK style food or even Seafood Chinese style. The foods there are marvelous!!

I am guilty of being a Lo Mein addict! I stumbled upon Splendid China a couple of years ago trying to find a place that made good quality lo mein (which wasn't easy). This place is consistent every time with their food and our family orders take out here often. Oh, their chili oil is perfectly HOT!!! Food is good, prices are good. My only complaint would be that the delivery man once complained that his tip wasn't good enough since they dont charge a delivery charge. Im not a bad tipper. I work in a tipping industry. I had my reasons for the tip I gave. Besides that no complaints. read more

When I got home with my order the first thing I noticed was that the pork look crispy and fresh but I had to add the sweet and sour sauce myself. It was sort of jellied so it did not pour over the meat easily. I pulled a large spoon from a drawer in my kitchen but there was no room in the container to really move the meat around so I pulled a medium sized bowl from the cabinet to stir the meat until all the pieces were coated with the sauce. I got out a plate and put the rice on the plate and topped it with the pork. Something was a little off, like lots of breading around tiny pieces of meat. The fried rice was too crunchy because it wasn't cooked properly. The egg roll was fine. Overall the food was just average or slightly below average. For me, the low rating was because I had to do so much work myself before I could eat. Typically, I expect to put rice on a plate and the entree and begin eating, not having to sauce the dish myself in a bowl with my own utensils and clean up sticky sauce from my counter from when I was trying to sauce the meat in the takeout container. Nothing special enough about this place or food to justify a return visit.
