I tried this place because it's next door to another restaurant I frequent. I ordered sweet and sour pork with fried rice and a vegetable egg roll for takeout. When I got home with my order the first thing I noticed was that the pork look crispy and fresh but I had to add the sweet and sour sauce myself. It was sort of jellied so it did not pour over the meat easily. I pulled a large spoon from a drawer in my kitchen but there was no room in the container to really move the meat around so I pulled a medium sized bowl from the cabinet to stir the meat until all the pieces were coated with the sauce. I got out a plate and put the rice on the plate and topped it with the pork. Something was a little off, like lots of breading around tiny pieces of meat. The fried rice was too crunchy because it wasn't cooked properly. The egg roll was fine. Overall the food was just average or slightly below average. For me, the low rating was because I had to do so much work myself before I could eat. Typically, I expect to put rice on a plate and the entree and begin eating, not having to sauce the dish myself in a bowl with my own utensils and clean up sticky sauce from my counter from when I was trying to sauce the meat in the takeout container. Excellent Chinese fast food. Their BBQ Ribs are always excellent. Meaty with proper sweet glaze. The crab Rangoon takes a little getting used to. Not because of flavor, it's excellent, but because of its shape. I've never eaten anything here that I didn't like. From shrimp with lobster sauce to orange chicken, it's all prepared well and is made fresh. The shrimp fried rice was excellent and was the first time I've had it. I'll order it again!! The food may not be as fancy as high dollar Chinese restaurants but it is just as good. Stop in and give them a try if you're hungry and in the neighborhood. It won't disappoint you. read more

I found this place on Doordash. Saturday was a very busy day, and I wanted food that wasn't pizza that I didn't have to get off of my new couch for. It was 35 min delivery, and no delivery fee. First thing I noticed - they had Sesame Shrimp. This is a true staple that is often left off of the takeout menu. I knew it was where I was headed. I looked for the Veggie Spring Roll. They had a Veggie Eggroll. I had a feeling that it was actually going to be a Spring Roll. Indeed, it was. When the Dasher (finally) arrived, I knew I was in for a treat. The main course was in plastic containers. A good sign! The entree was ample. The shrimp were crisp, the sauce was savory and sweet. A perfect mix. The rice was akin to steamed, but had the components of fried rice. I got full, but had to finish it. It was so great. After I had eaten and posted my photo of the food, I looked at the page and realized that this restaurant was a place I saw off Abram on my way to UTA and thought so many times, "Wow, it looks run down. I'd rather eat inside that psychics house down the street." That poor attitude had me missing out for years. Years, I say! The orange chicken here is pretty killer as is the teriyaki chicken. The chicken in the teriyaki chicken dish is more of a Chinese bbq chicken suspended in teriyaki. So good! Added instructions for no Sauce on orange chicken order, due to extreme food sensitivities, of course they sauced the chicken and I had to go out an bug another dinner from sonic for one of my guests. They delivered about 10 pounds of food through Uber eats and only provided 2 utensil packets. I guess all 5 of us are supposed to take turns eating our dinner...well 4 of us since the sonic food came with utensils. I was looking for like really good Chinese food not like Panda Express and I came across Fortune Cookie Express and it's fucking good. The egg rolls are AMAZING. I had the sesame chicken and steamed white rice & I was very glad to know the chicken was not super sweet like other places. My brother had the Orange chicken with fried rice and it was delicious as well. It's a good place to eat at and the place is very neatly kept for it being in the worse area of Arlington. The prices are good and the portions are very generous. Unfortunately, the food was just not quite there. The flavors were good, but the vegetables were not cooked at all. They were completely raw, and it tasted more like eating a relish tray covered in sauce rather than the dish I ordered. I appreciate they clearly use fresh vegetables but either they need to be cut into smaller pieces or (probably and) cooked longer. I called in an order at 6:55. They told me it would be ready in 10 minutes. My lunch is from 7-7:30 so time is tight. I arrived at 7:07 to an empty restaurant except for a mother and daughter talking to the cashier. I waited for 10 minutes while the cashier idly chatted with the woman and her daughter about the size of a takeout order. When I asked about my order the cashier said they'd start cooking it. I told him my lunch time was short and that they said it would be ready at 7:05 and it was now 7:17 he just shrugged and went back to talking with the woman. Other people here at General Motors Arlington assembly have had the same expirience as I just had but I thought I'd give them a try. Their service is terrible and the restaurant is dirty!
