The only ice after I loaded it with hot oil and pepper flakes. BBQ Pork Fried Rice /
Priscilla A.

Yes. I ordered food through a delivery app. The 1 - star was not about the delivery, it was about the taste of the food. I ordered the BBQ PORK fried rice and requested extra spicy with an egg added. It was overcooked almost to the consistency of mashed potatoes. I did, however, have pieces of raw rice included for no additional charge. GROSS. The service of my driver was great. Food was hot and he hit everything required. His ambiance was superior. The rice was bland and there was no flavor OR spice - AT ALL. They added slices of jalapeño. I had to add spice and it was almost identical to a bag of steamed rice. Yea. Never again.

Always hits the mark when it comes to authentic flavors. Servings are generous and if your looking for a place to satisfy those cravings for Chinese food, this is one of the places I would hugely recommend. It's all about the food and nothing fancy about the decor or dining area. Just the food! Located at Ben Than Plaza, you can't miss right upfront next to one of the main entrances.

That restaurant over there as I sit across in My Tho.

Really great Chinese food! They have their special chicken with this amazing ginger scallion sauce, their Peking duck is always very fresh. My favorite is salt & pepper tofu, and a pound of the roasted pork. The crispy crunchy skin always hits the spot! They have other great food and a huge selection to choose from. Service and ambiance is good for dine in!

An amazing family spread peeking down lo mein, fried rice and Chinese broccoli

This was an amazing place for dinner... The owner is a friend from Boy Scouts, His food was incredible. The Peking duck alone was to die for. We had shrimp, lo mein, and multi fried rice and Chinese broccoli with onions and garlic and hot and sour soup. The whole thing was so delicious every bite. We were fighting over the buns for the duck. It was so incredibly tasty, and I really really loved it. Highly recommend it and can't wait to go back.

I've been eating at this place for a couple years now and they are consistent with the quality and the authenticity of the food. The staff was helpful finding dishes try. The inside is not the cleanest place though. The food is very flavorful and tender. I've ordered over ten different dishes from here and each have been great. I definitely recommend to get the Pork with preserve vegetables which is a pork belly dish that is extremely tender and has a rich braised soy sauce that goes well with rice. I also recommend getting the French Style Cubed Beef which is stir fried tender cubes of beef.

Salt and Pepper Tofu

The food was just OK. The BBQ pork fried rice had barely any BBQ pork in it and it was very mushy. The crab rangoon had a decent flavor but it was chewy and not crispy. The szechwan chicken was nothing like I expected. It had a decent flavor but not your typical szechwan chicken. It was not at all spicy. The salt and pepper tofu was the best thing I had except that they used soft tofu. The flavor was correct but the texture was way too soft for fried tofu. Overall, this place is very disappointing for the prices they charge.

The first time I bought this food. The man at register used rude words with me and had a harsh tone of voice. The taste of the food was bad. Because it's like old and messy. This is the first and only time. I probably won't go back to buy food there again.

Old roast pork with mostly just Fat.

OLD meat. Went in at lunch today to buy half a pound of roast pork. The owner said he only sell by the pound so I said I'll take a pound. He proceeded to call a lady from the back to cut the pork and weighed it. Came out to be 2.5 lbs. I told him it was too much for just me. She cut off a little more this time it was 1.5 lbs. still too much for just one person. When I told him it was just me, she put the pork back and grabbed one from a plate on the side and a large piece of pork skin which came out to a little over a lbs. at this point I wanted to leave due to their attitude but didn't since they had already cut the pork. BIG mistake. When I got out to the car and checked the my box it was mostly fat and crispy skin. There was hardly any meat, just a few pieces and it was old. Now I know why both of them were laughing. Previously I had came here several time and in the past they had alway over weight meat. If I asked for 1 lbs they pushed 2.5-3 lbs. I will NEVER come back here again.

This is our go-to for great Chinese in Arlington! After moving to Arlington in 2020 we quickly found this gem while checking out what was in Ben Thanh Plaza. We've been here many, many times here but oddly have never tried the roast duck meal. One day we will! However we ALWAYS order their roast duck noodle soup, which is amazing! Not sure how a dish can be both comfort food and exciting, but it is. And I think I can say that about everything we've tried here. We've tried several dishes but keep going back to a few favorites, like the soup. From our latest meal there, we had the duck soup - of course, beef with snow pea leaves, salt and pepper soft shell crab, and mapo tofu - all excellent. Other dishes we've ordered more than once are the pork belly with preserved vegetables, snow pea leaves with garlic, combination fried rice, and Singapore and Cantonese rice noodles. Pricing is moderate, even fairly inexpensive for some things. Hubby and I usually order enough food for like 6-8 people and get out of there for less than $100. Don't judge! We like leftovers! We've always had good service from our very first visit. The owner is a man of few words and maybe can come off as a bit short (don't ask for any substitutions!), but we've never found him, or anyone else there, to give bad service or to be rude in any way. Quite the opposite, and now I guess we're semi-regulars so we're always treated warmly. FYI, the only think I dislike - and it has nothing to do with the restaurant - is the only restroom (that I know of) is in the back of the food court, quite a ways away from this restaurant. And it's ALWAYS dirty and disgusting with leaky toilets.

Peking Duck

Food: Peking Duck Review: Lady was just trying to push me out the door. Ordered peking duck w/buns. Asked if buns were in there. She quickly sad yes before I could finish. Left out. No buns. RUDE!!! Bad customer service.

Lobster fried rice, boiled chicken, Peking duck, tempera shrimps, crab maw and fish soup
Lillian L.

We ordered to go. Lobster fried rice was amazing. I loved it. It is on par with other restaurants like Ocean. Peking duck was very good and there wasn't much fat on it which is rare!!! We also got regular boiled chicken and barely any fat on it... perfect! Crab maw and fish soup was pretty good too. Tempura shrimps were big and everyone liked it. We pretty much ordered two servings of everything and total was like $250. It is not bad at all. Would definitely order again.

Food safety concern! I was eating the fried rice and I found a blue rubber band in it. I regret ordering from this restaurant!

Bethany Cafe noooo you guys changed the fries! I would come here all the time for the thick crispy…read morefries but now they're thin...change them back please!! Other than this new concern, I personally find this place a "comfort spot". Not high quality Asian food but the best "B grade" Asian food there is in Arlington. I enjoy the portions, the taste but most importantly, their drinks!! I especially love ordering their Oreo Shake (even better than other boba tea places) and their Strawberry Milk Tea. Service is always spectacular. They are fast and friendly! I've also ordered online before and the food is always hot and ready by the time I arrive there. If you have kids, they will enjoy the arcade connected to the restaurant. Seriously though...the change in fries makes me sad. If I come back, it will be for the drinks.

Each combo comes with a free tea (black/green/milk). The service here is quick and straight to the point. I like this place because it is quick and a great value for decent food. I wouldn't say this is the best food I've ever had but I enjoy it as it brings me back to my college days when they used to have a location near UT Dallas years ago. I deducted a star as the restaurant itself had a chemical smell in the dining area, otherwise I recommend getting it to go and enjoying it at home. Parking here should be fairly easy, there is a parking lot in front of it but be careful not to park in front of the business in front of it. This is located down the street from UT Arlington.

I believed the online hype about the St. Louis-style rice, so I decided to give this place a try…read more It's located in a shopping strip next to a barbershop and a salon. I ordered the St. Louis rice combo with an egg roll, Kung Pao chicken, and chicken wings. Appetizers: The egg roll was okay -- I'd give it a 3/5. The chicken wings were also just okay and a little greasy -- 3/5. Kung Pao Chicken: It was spicy, but very bland overall. I'm used to a darker, richer sauce, but this one was very light and didn't have much flavor -- 1/5. They do give you a generous portion, though. St. Louis-Style Rice: It came out hot and included bean sprouts, which a lot of places don't do anymore, so I appreciated that. The rice was dark, but even with steak, chicken, and shrimp, it still lacked flavor -- 2/5. The prices are good, service is fast, and there's plenty of space if you want to dine in. That said, it's not worth going back for me, but I'm glad I tried it.

As a St. Louis native, I had to try this spot's STL-style fried rice, and it definitely scratched…read morethat itch! It's a charming "hole-in-the-wall" place that reminded me of home, and it was noticeably clean. I'll definitely be back for more. What I Loved First off, the fried rice had that perfect dark hue it's supposed to have, and I was thrilled that peas and carrots were excluded. The portion size was incredibly generous - you get a lot for your money. I also really appreciated that the lady who helped me was upfront about them not having red pepper packets or sweet and sour sauce. Room for Improvement While I enjoyed my meal, there are a few things to note. The STL-style fried rice isn't actually on the main menu; you have to know they make it and ask for it, which seems a bit odd and makes me wonder why they don't advertise it more. And though I appreciated the heads-up about the missing condiments, they really need to stock red pepper packets and sweet and sour sauce. Duck sauce is a decent substitute, but red pepper is a must for this kind of dish. My rice also lacked bean sprouts and green onions, which was a disappointment. I'd recommend skipping their crab rangoon and homemade sweet and sour sauce; neither was very good. Finally, I ordered two large chicken fried rice orders and asked for no eggs in one, but both orders came without eggs, even though only one was marked "no eggs." Overall, it's a promising spot for St. Louis-style fried rice, and I'm looking forward to seeing these minor issues addressed
