I driving to David's BBQ trying to decide if I wanted Brisket or Ribs. Fortunately for the Drive Through attendant suggested that I get the combination plate with both. They really hit the spot!! As far as I'm concerned all the food is very good. But I especially enjoy their Brisket!!. The service is always friendly and very attentive.

I will say, the team was very friendly. Coming down to the food, Davis is very average. There's nothing that will blow you away, but nothing was terrible. I love coleslaw and that was probably the best thing we had on our plates. All that being said, a self-serve ice cream machine is always a welcomed site.

The food was great, with a large amount. Good conversation and friendly staff. It reminded me of my local spot at home

I love me some David's BBQ my favorite is smoked turkey and potato salad. The service is always great and the atmosphere is laid back nothing special just clean and comfortable. The free old fashioned soft serve ice cream takes me back to childhood memories. When I want potato salad and don't feel like making my own they're always my go to spot.

Wow! David's is the epitome of Texas barbecue. You're greeted when you walk in, the employees are all so respectful and helpful, and the food is great! I went with my dad and we got beef brisket, pork ribs, onion rings, and fried okra. The brisket was good (maybe on the drier side considering we asked for moist brisket), but the ribs were outstanding! Both the fried okra and onion rings were perfect, couldn't have asked for better! Even my dad loved the onion rings, and he considers himself an onion ring connoisseur lol!

Great family bbq restaurant. The walls are covered in signed pictures and served is good cafeteria style. Super fun place. Best part is the ice cream cone at the end! The staff are so kind. They sliced my girls extra cheese to eat. Now to the food, all the meat was good. I liked the ribs best. The sides were ok. I wish there was a potatoe or something else as an option. The ice cream cone at the end was great and the toast was great tooo!! There's also a drive thru which I thought was cool for a BBQ. Definitely check this place out!!

First of all, I stopped eating to write this. That in and of itself should say it all. Brisket was amazing, well trimmed, flavorful, moist, but doesn't disintegrate when touched. Mild sausage was really good. The Okra is honestly a determining factor for me and for Texas okra at a BBQ place it was spot on. I could have had just that and been happy. Sauce was fantastic. If there were any small notes it would be a touch more salt and pepper in the potato salad, but that's just for the sake of having some kind of criticism. If you like good Texas BBQ and live in this area, and you don't make it a point to periodically visit this place and support them you will be doing yourself and the entire community a huge disservice.

It's been 4 years since I've been to David's! I used to live right around the corner. I would go almost every Tuesday! The are very friendly here especially the Owner! Great atmosphere and great conversations !! This place has been in Pantego for many years and it's a staple for folks that live near by ! I wish I still lived in the area but I'll definitely be back for another visit ! The brisket and sausage was delicious and don't forget to ask if any burnt ends are available!!

It includes: Smoked Doro Wat (Spicy Chicken Stew), Awaze Rib Tip Tibs, Awaze Brisket, Awaze Pork Ribs, your choice of 2 sides, Texas Toast, gluten-free teff injera, and rice pilaf! The hardest part is choosing the sides because they're all amazing, from classic BBQ sides like potato salad, fried okra, baked beans, corn, collard greens, and mac and cheese to Ethiopian sides like shiro wat (chickpea stew), misir wat (red lentil stew), tikil gomen (cabbage and carrots), and more. Even berbere-spiced mac and cheese! Berbere is an incredible blend of Ethiopian spices that is amazing on everything, savory or sweet. If it's just me eating with no one to share, I like to get the Big Ash loaded baked potato. Your choice of meat on a perfectly fluffy hot potato with plenty of butter and sour cream -- it's soooo comforting and delicious!

I expected "knock your socks off" but got very good food instead. I expected a packed dining room but at 12:30 it was almost empty. We ordered the sample plate for 2 which included ribs, brisket, rib tips, and doro wat (chicken stew) with rice, injera and we got beefy collard greens and cabbage with carrots sides. The ribs were excellent. I also really liked the chicken stew. I was surprised by the sour flavor of the injera. The thin bbq sauce was tasty while it was not sweet or full of vinegar. It was a nice alternative to traditional sauces. While we enjoyed our meal, and I would order the ribs and chicken stew again, this place is a bit too far for a repeat. But it introduced me to Ethiopian food which I can find closer to home. I love the creativity of the owners.

We came at noon on a gloomy Thursday morning and we were able to sit down and eat our food at 1pm. Service was quick! Staff was extremely friendly and hilarious, making the experience a good one from top to bottom. Great job, team. Barbecue was TO DIE for. Some of the best I've had in all of DFW. It's a bold claim, I know, but you've gotta go try it for yourself. Brisket was so tender and melt-in-your-mouth, the jalapeño cheddar sausage was amazing, and the sides were PHENOMENAL. Great mac and cheese. The space is clean, small, and cozy. Would love for more seating for the sake of the line, but I understand the hype and exclusivity appeal. I assumed that the line would be smaller because of that. I was wrong. I got there at about 9:30 am. The line was still long. I stayed and I finally got inside the building around 12pm. I got a pound and a half of brisket, half a pound of pork belly, one pork rib and three sausage links. The hot link, the jalapeño cheese and the regular sausage. The brisket was amazing. The pork belly was pretty good as well. The sausages and the pork rib were just okay in my opinion. They gave me the hot link sausage for free. The line moved fairly quickly and the employees were very friendly. They seemed happy to work there. It was a great experience, but I will have to admit something important. I'm a bbq connoisseur and I am coming to the conclusion that waiting for hours for great bbq isn't worth it anymore. Goldee's BBQ was good. I would suggest finding a place in the city that you live in that has good bbq and skip waiting in long lines for hours. Places like Goldee's are a one and done or a once every few years or so. By the way,all the food I got totaled with tip $150. The money and your time makes it not worth it in my opinion.

I picked it up on Wednesday and on a Thursday after heating it up as I unwrapped it was a Turkey breast. We were all looking forward to brisket but ate it since it was the only main entrée. I say this because after my experience with the manager Erin, she made me feel we were not suppose to eat it and return it in whole. I called on Friday since they were closed on Thursday. The manager asked me to bring the turkey breast leftovers I had so she could replace it with the brisket. I got upset and explained it's 1/2 gone. She said I understand but you need to bring it. I told her I would be there in 30 mins and hung up. I was in disbelief but still gave them the benefit I thought she needs to see prove. I arrived and the whole situation went horrible on their part. I maintained civil but now I regret it. A young lady acknowledge me and knew who I was. She took my turkey breast leftovers. I waited for awhile and I could see that Erin didn't know how to handle the situation because she involved other employees. I started to feel uncomfortable like all Earles were on me. I maintained my composure. And then Erin and another guy walked over to me, they didn't apologize nor seemed concerned as if they were being inconvenient. They just asked "You have your receipt". I showed it to them from my phone, she took my phone and observed as she expected me to be lying. I told her " I only ordered brisket not sure how they could get this wrong". She just mumbled, handed my phone and they all walked back to the prepping area. Waited for a bit finally she come to the front register and I walked over to her and she says "Was this the only order you had that day". Now I got upset and got loud told her "Yes it was my first and last time I will order from here". She then proceed to explain why the amount of brisket was being given to me. I cutt her off told "Let's just get this over with". I grabbed the bag and told her "I will be calling corporate and giving a review". Mostly I was disappointed and pissed at their behavior. I felt as if I did something wrong. They kept my leftovers, I don't understand that part. An apology goes a long way....sure didn't get one from management.
