He stopped by our table, warmly greeted and spoke with my son, then moved on without ever acknowledging me or my wife. It may have been completely unintentional, but it left us feeling overlooked. As someone who serves in ministry and regularly recommends businesses to church members, friends, and professional contacts, I left thinking this could have become one of my go-to recommendations. Unfortunately, that interaction changed what could have been a great relationship with the restaurant. One thing I've learned in life is that you never know who's sitting at your table. Maybe it was the cooks; an older guy cooked it right the first time I got it, but this time I noticed a younger guy cooked it. Leave the cooking to the old-school chefs.
