Finally got downtown to try out the Cuban food truck that everyone raves about. I ordered the Cuban Frita and side of Moros. The Cuban Frita was a tasty hamburger but I would not call it a frita. It had no taste of Spanish and smoked paprika that makes it a Frita. The patty was also a bit thicker than I expect for a frita but again it's a great hamburger. The Moros were good and it was a big portion size. Where do I begin? The woman we met today had zero personality . Cold in demeanor and lackluster service. I arrived and had a conversation with a gentleman outside who was from Miami and he insisted this was the go-to place for Cuban food. The owner of this truck made me feel like I was back in South Florida. I had the Pan con Lechon. Pork was super tender and great flavor. Ordered the platanos as any extra side. Glad I did because the fries that came with sandwich were very (too) crunchy. The dipping sauce though was soooooo good. So happy to see they had cafe con leche and colada on the menu.
