Sorry, WUT! So meatballs are pretty now? Pretty on the eyes, better on the buds. Can you imagine? Very much an explosion of flavor. Kent's service was off the charts. Wow. I loved the "wax on, wax off," on a bed of beautiful penne. Absolutely amazing. I wish I lived in this truck and ate here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Thank you. The vibe of the truck location is amazing. I love the seating and lighting and mostly just Kent.

What a fun name! They also have an awesome food truck. But it's not actually a truck, it's a school bus! Regardless of my dislike for meatballs, I wanted to try something off of that school bus! Luckily, they had a dessert ball! I got the "ball and oats" with chocolate sauce. It's got a lot of yummy stuff inside:rolled oats, Honey Nut Cheerios, peanut butter and honey. I was imagining it to have a crunchy-like texture given the Cheerios and rolled oats..but it was very smooth. It was also served cold. It was actually a little hard! Ideally, I would have enjoyed a little more texture or some chocolate chips! Nonetheless, it was still one tasty ball!! We also got the "clucker". It had buffalo sauce, ranch, Panko, chives, and jack cheese. It has a ton of flavor and a little spice! I'm not a fair judge on this, bc I don't like meat balls. Considering that, it was pretty decent for a ball of meat!!!

Ok why haven't you tried these balls yet?! So amazing! What a great concept and so many amazing flavors from the chef Kent! I tried the blue/cajones/tx/mamas and I have to say they where ALL GOOD! The Cajones are SPICY you've been warned :-). They are actually gluten free too!?? We choose to have The meatballs come on a bed of mashed cauliflower and all I can say about that is WOW I actually do like cauliflower!! Who knew?! I also tried a dessert ball that was a home run too! Don't remember the name my bad! Follow them on FB and Instagram to see where they are serving up these awesome balls and just roll with it!

    They were both DELICIOUS!

The name says it all, "oh balls!" It's actually a bus, but it looks adorable & the food is DELICIOUS! My boyfriend & I went to hop & sting brewery in grapevine and that's where we discovered "oh balls". There was a woman taking the orders but my boyfriend ended up talking to the guy which told us about another brewery we should check out in Bedford! The people working this food truck are super nice, their customer service is on point& the food..... AMAZING! Their food tastes fresh, different and flavorful! We are customers for life, & I cannot wait to try more of their items. We had the buffalo and the asian ones. One base was a bun and the other is penne pasta, it is a MUST TRY & it will not disappoint. The awesome twist is, you're able to track their schedule on their site to see where they're going to be and when. OH BALLS! =O

These meatballs are amazing!! So flavorful and delicious! Definitely want to try more!!

Ordered the Balls Out where you can get a sample of 5 different meatballs. I got the Wax on wax off, Cluster, Fire, Cure, and Bianca balls.

For a food truck selling meatballs, I was truly impressed with the flavor and creativity of their food. I enjoyed every meatball that we ordered and would recommend this place to others. My favorite meatball that I ordered was the Wax On Wax Off and my wife's favorite was the Cluster.

I feel like a part of the family now! The friendly faces behind Oh Balls are all family and they're all so warm and welcoming! Kent, the owner, was high energy and gracious about describing the flavors of their flavorful meatballs! They also offer a variety of other items from grilled cheese sandwiches to different desserts but the meatballs, or shall I say, Oh Balls, are where it's at! After debating over all of the fanciful flavors, I went with the "TX" which have Fritos and are doused in Oh Balls' own Whiskey BBQ sauce! My beau had the "Wax On, Wax Off" which is Asian inspired with siracha infused tangy sauce! I don't know if they're always in Bedford at Turning Point Beer but I'd follow them wherever they go. They're THAT GOOD!

Omg I'm glad I found this on here!! I love this food truck it's legit also I went to school with one of the workers. I didn't know meatballs could be soooo good outside of spaghetti and meatballs. I got to try these balls at a yelp event outside of a brewery. My boyfriend and I each got one meatball each at first he got the "Texas" one and I got "Cojones" both sooo good omg the cojones was like eating a taco with tomatillo - the tortilla in meat ball form. Mind blowing. The Texas one had a BBQ sauce on it I think? I can't remember that one very well I only got one little bite lol we then got the order of 3 to share we got the "wax on wax off" SO YUMMY GET IT I'm pretty sure they said it's their most popular one and I understand why. We got the pizza one of course it was like pizza in a meatball. Last one was the "quesaballa" was a meatball quesadilla meatballs inside of the quesadilla so mouthwatering with some salsa to dip it in. I know they had a dessert meatball but I didn't get to it sadly. I loved this food truck and I hope to see them some time soon! You get my five stars oh balls.

But boy, did they walk into a situation that really required 2 to 3 food trucks, and they were the only one... The line was long and the wait was longer, but I can't really fault them for that. Witherspoon had a bigger than expected crowd that evening, with some live music and a couple of events (including a Match.com event - that made for some fun people watching). Apparently BMB was told earlier that day that a large crowd could materialize, so they didn't really have time to buy extra food or prep much. But they kept smiling and were nice about it, and everyone went with the flow and it was fine. By the time we finally got our food (made to order for sure - took a while), we were starving. I got the burger (the brisket on a biscuit had run out) and my wife got the special (which I'm blanking on). Both were very tasty. The burger was maybe just a *tad* overdone and the patty wasn't big, but serving it on a biscuit-style bun with some yummy sauce made for a good, hefty sammich. With a side of fries that we shared - which were excellent - it was plenty of food. Value was pretty good, too, particularly for a food truck. I don't think I'd go as far as calling it gourmet like some people have, but it was good and were satisfied. I'd totally order food from the BMB truck again. Oh, and it wasn't exactly a truck - it's actually a really nice trailer. :) (See the pic someone posted.)

The explanation given that the system "couldn't handle the wind" is deeply concerning. If awnings advertised and installed for cold weather cannot be safely used in windy conditions, that is a serious operational and safety issue that should be addressed before guests are seated underneath them. Instead, customers were left exposed, freezing, and ignored. What made this worse was not the weather, but the complete lack of accountability or alternative solutions. No effort to relocate guests, no escalation to management, just repeated refusal. This reflects poor planning and even worse customer care. Management should take this seriously. I would expect someone to reach out, because this experience alone is enough to keep us and others from returning.

"The Gastro Bomber is serving up traditional pub grub with a Texas twist and the customary pub…read moreculture...good music and friendly conversation!" - From GB's FB page. So yesterday (10/3/2012) Keller had it's first pop-up food truck event. I was very happy to catch wind of it, for I'm usually late to the party when it comes to events. In attendance were Gastro Bomber and So-Cal Tacos (http://www.yelp.com/biz/so-cal-tacos-fort-worth). My plan was to order something from each truck, one as a way to show support, and two, well because I'm a glutton and wanted to try both. I looked over both menus and came to a decision. From GB it was going to be the Chicken and Waffle Sandwich. I've been wanting C&Ws forever, from anywhere, and tonight was finally my night to try this item. The first thing to point out is it was not really a "sandwich" unless you want to stretch it and call it an open-faced sandwich. Second, it was not a full-sized waffle, but rather something rectangular. It consisted of three pieces of boneless chicken and a drizzle of maple syrup. Cost, $8. It was very good. The chicken was tender and the waffle delicious. What I noticed, and confirmed, is that there is corn meal in the waffle batter. I was told this is the Southern twist they like to add to there food. It was like Belgian cornbread. Yummy! Now I will add my wife's comment, which seem to be true of all food trucks, is that the cost to quantity ratio seems to be a little high. Three large tenders on essentially half a waffle for 8 bucks seems a bit much. Now I came up with a new take on the cost and that is this; One, your getting to try something new and somewhat unique. Two, and here's the kicker, your bottom line cost is perhaps a bit less than if you sat down in a restaurant. If tips are expected at food trucks, I did not see any obvious vessel for the cash to go in. You can bring your own drinks, and thus your bottom line for a unique dining experience really is not bad. I for one am glad this came together. I was excited when I learned that Keller might be getting it's own food truck park, and was disappointed when I learned the plans were not approved. Somehow I think Keller's loss will be Roanoke's gain (Actually Corina T., aka the "shark lady", who I met at this event said that). From this point forward I will keep track of food trucks coming to Keller, and there are definitely a few more items on GB's menu I would like to try (Irish Nachos, Shepherd's Pie Croquettes, Fish and Chips, Picanha Sandwich). PS. If you missed it, they will be back in the same spot (at the CVS at the NE corner of 1709 and Rufe Snow) next week, 10/10/2012 from 5 to 8PM. One quick tip: Do bring your own chairs!
