Chorizo Breakfast Tacos

The man who greeted us at the door was so kind and helpful. However everything went wrong after sitting down. I ordered using this picture from the website because I have never been in and knew I just wanted some street style tacos. Once I received the tacos they were nothing like the photo and included rice and beans. She also failed to mention they had no limes and brought me a lemon instead. Then the queso we ordered had to be requested again after going up to get our server. She never refilled our water or chips. It was overall just rather disappointing. Also the machine they use automatically selects 35% on the tip which is just absolutely absurd. Overall I do not think I will be returning.

They have the best home cooked Mexican food that you could possibly ask for. And if you're a breakfast person this is the place to be! Their barbacoa is cooked very well amd hits the spot everytime.

This is the first authentic Mexican restaurant I've found in Fort Worth. We went on a Sunday around noon and it was very crowded. The restaurant looks like a converted home so there wasn't a lot of space to wait, however the wait ended up being only about 15 minutes. The food was wonderful and service was fast. The only complaint I had was the automatic I believe either 3% or 4% charge for using a debit or credit card.

Always receive great service and a really good sandwich The Number 11 The Big D. I get mine with mayo and spicy mustard. I have the works except onions, tomatoes, and salt. I add pepper and garlic. !!

We each got the eggs and bacon that is served with refried beans and two of their massive homemade flour tortillas! OMG! The whole plate was just under $7 and we could have shared! Very generous portions for the price! The complimentary chips (very lightly salted= my preference) & salsa were also really good. The service was good. The place was crowded on a Saturday morning so we had to wait about 15 minutes but it was worth it. We checked out the menu while we waited. The other guests were friendly and it seemed like they had some regulars there. They have daily lunch specials during the week. We look forward to going back!

Oh Yes! This is just one more reason why I love Ft Worth...under the top layer of gentrification, you can still find the real deal. Going going gone is the mantra chanted by those hardy adventurous souls that don't want the latest chef driven breakfast for $30( Ft Worth has those too). But,prefer to occasionally go off grid and find something your mom or significant other wouldn't dream of goin in. It's been awhile since I've found a fully blossomed restaurant like this. Years of dedication by this family, serving up traditional delicious necessities! I loved it and you will too! Go!

My man crush and I were in Fort Worth for the weekend and looking for a place to have lunch on our way out. The parking lot was packed at Dos Molina's which is usually a good sign. Despite the crowded lot, we were able to be seated within 5 minutes. The chips and salsa were very good and addictive. I ordered the cheese enchiladas topped with chili con carne and guisada beef tips and my man crush ordered the chicken enchiladas. Both plates came with rice and beans. The food was steaming hot and so delicious! The guisada beef tips were AMAZING...so tender and flavorful. I'm kicking myself for not bringing an order of that home! The prices were very reasonable and the service was good. It was a bit warm in the restaurant; however, we would definitely go back.

A friend recommended this location. The atmosphere was pleasant. The server was great, but my food was cold, and I had to send it back, unfortunately.

The outdoor seating is so charming lush plants, colorful flowers, and a peaceful fountain that makes you want to stay awhile. I had the chicken fajita bowl, and it was fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot. The margaritas were definitely tempting but I behaved and stuck with water... next time for sure. Only minor thing, there was water on the floor going into and inside the bathroom, which could be a slipping hazard. A "wet floor" sign would definitely help. Beautiful atmosphere, relaxed vibe. Such a great little getaway in the middle of the day.

But we always hear people talk about how great Joe T's is so we thought maybe we just an isolated bad experience 15 years ago. But this time, it was even worse. Maybe people don't speak unfavorably out of fear of being shamed for not praising this "institution"? We arrived on a Wednesday at 5:30 so fortunately our unpleasant experience was not further worsened with a wait. The patio is still very beautiful and umbrellas were positioned to provide ample shade. But the fly situation was very annoying and could probably be helped with the spinning devices on tables or fans spread throughout the patios. The beauty of the patio doesn't compensate enough to endure the flies. The service started out good with waters, chips/salsa brought instantly. But within 15 minutes the service rapidly declined as more customers were seated. It was very tedious to the point of annoying to get refills on our drinks. Literally within 2-3 minutes of ordering we asked our waitress to switch one of the fajita orders from chicken to beef. She initially said "oh I'm sorry but I JUST put the order in". We looked puzzled and said "ok then it shouldn't be a problem changing it?" She went on to explain that she would add the beef to our table and just switch the chicken order to another table next to us who ordered chicken that she had not put in yet. All of that sounded very bizarre but the food was correct when it was delivered our table. At the time the plates were brought we requested a side of sour cream but it didn't come. After 5-10 minutes we spotted our server and requested it from her. But we still never got the sour cream. As I was paying the tab my daughter noticed that we were charged for an extra chicken fajita. So even though the server got the beef fajita added right after we ordered, she didn't take the chicken off the bill. She adjusted it once we pointed out the error. The food was the biggest disappointment out of all of it. I will always give grace to sub par service or atmosphere if the food is great. I say this with the utmost sincerity, I've had more flavorful beef and chicken at Chipotle. The chicken was so dry and served in big chunks which made it even tougher to chew. I seriously could not detect a hint of any seasoning, not even salt. It was very hot but not like the traditional sizzling fajita hot, more like it had been sitting in a heating pan or under heat lamps. For way too long. The beef was a tad bit easier to chew than the chicken but just as bland. The queso that we ordered tasted like canned cheese sauce watered down with chicken or vegetable broth and a tablespoon of pico added. The portion sizes of the entrees, the tortillas, the pico, the guacamole were all very generous. It's just a shame that it doesn't taste good.

So since mom passed away, everything is pretty poor here! I mean food is still pretty tasty but the service, the expectations, the food presentations. They need a lot of work! The son of the owner is FREAKING LAZY!!!!!! Dad was working the kitchen today and he's in the front of the house being LAZY AS ALWAYS! If he's your server RUN AWAY and come back later or ask for better server. He's entitled. He NEVER EVER comes back to check on you. He avoids eye contact. He'll take your order and then sit down to play on his phone or watch TV. Then take food from the window throw it in your table and never come back. Sit back down to be on his phone. There are 2 servers that are very very good, tall white guy and one lady but the rest are TRASH!!! So if you are looking for great food but can overlook the service this is the place but sometimes even the tasty food can't overcompensate the service. We might not comeback for a bit. Oh and we also saw the son today took our server tip from our table and put it in his pocket! And he didn't clean our table at all. He just pass our table, pocket the $7 and left. And he did not even wait on us at all today! I hope that girl got her tip back! So that was the turning point for us for a while. Watch out for him when you leave cash tip for your server.

From the moment the chips and salsa hit the table, I knew I was in trouble in the best way possible. It tasted like something your grandmother makes without measuring anything, just cooking straight from memory and love. I was told to try the menudo. Normally, that's a dish I approach with caution because it can be a little much for me, but she swore by it. One spoonful in and I wanted to walk straight into the back and hug whoever made it. No exaggeration. The flavors were deep, balanced, and comforting. You can taste the patience, the experience, and the passion it takes to make a dish like that the right way. The service was just as memorable as the food. Warm, welcoming, and genuine. You can tell this is a family affair, the kind of place where everyone cares about what comes out of the kitchen and how you're treated at the table. Los Asaderos Mexican Restaurant is the kind of spot that reminds you why local places matter. I'm already planning a return because there's no way I'm leaving this menu unexplored. This is comfort food done with heart, and it shows in every bite.

They have an ample bar space, but it looked like only one patron was interested in that; the rest of us were there to eat. You order your food at the counter and get a buzzer to come back and pick it up. The staff is friendly enough, but you don't really interact with them much since it's all pretty much self service after you go to the counter. The drink station has cane sugar based sodas; it's a bit heavy on the foam, but otherwise good. We opted for the birria pizza, a couple of cups of pozole, and a side of elote. Everything was solid. The elote was good, not great, but the pozole really hit the spot given how cold it was outside. The birria pizza is what blew me away, though. This was easily one of the most unique, but tasty, things I've ever had. It's not really a pizza, more like a topped quesadilla, but they did a great job of it. I'd not only come back here next time I'm in Fort Worth, I'd be interested in opening a location in Houston if I had the money to franchise it.
