They grew up nearby and this is the local spot they wanted to show off the most :-) We tried combo fajitas, enchiladas, tacos and nachos. All were good. And the service was epic! We also enjoyed a pitcher of excellent margaritas :-) We didn't even see the inside is the restaurant but there was seemingly no end to the outside. It's a large space filled with plants and fountains and cool lighting and it really just sets a mood. It's like something on the San Antonio Riverwalk but bigger. I was really impressed. We had so much fun that I forgot to take any pictures. Well, that's not true. I took a lot of picks but only of my wife and friends in various locations there. It's a very photogenic setting, especially at night. I could see doing large events here like wedding dinners and so forth. Very chic and trendy great place for photo ops catching up with a friend or having a date night. I had the sirloin fajitas for lunch. We tried the corn and flour tortillas. I was super impressed by the quality of all the food you could tell that the tortillas were made from scratch and the food was prepared with love. The atmosphere was a vibe. Waterfall outside for cute photos definitely loved it. The Service was on point. That sauce looks so good! My partner did not like the red sauce at all, again I thought it was fine just not amazing like the other two. Beans and rice are good, nothing special. Nothing wrong with the chips and salsa just run of the mill. Other thoughts: I wish I had just ate my food at the bar instead of ordering take out. I got two items from the secret menu since I've never tried them before - Trailer Park Hillbilly Style and the Naughty Santa. Both are very busy tacos. The Hillbilly Style adds chorizo to the Trailer Park base taco which is fried chicken. I liked it. It was just a very busy taco as I mentioned. The same goes for the Naughty Santa; except in this case it was shrimp with chorizo. This combination doesn't really work synergestically in my opinion. The shrimp is good. The chorizo is good. But together? Just because you can doesn't mean you should. Other than the Naughty Santa, I'll still come back and be a patron of Torchy's Tacos.

The elote was good, not great, but the pozole really hit the spot given how cold it was outside. The birria pizza is what blew me away, though. This was easily one of the most unique, but tasty, things I've ever had. It's not really a pizza, more like a topped quesadilla, but they did a great job of it. I'd not only come back here next time I'm in Fort Worth, I'd be interested in opening a location in Houston if I had the money to franchise it.
