I would say Chuy's is a solid 3 star Texas chain. Nothing at Chuy's, outside of the jalapeño ranch, will knock your socks off. That being said, everything is pretty good and the prices are actually very reasonable. Friendly staff and pretty cool environment.

We shared this meal. Also came with beef taco & cheese tostada. Yummy strawberry and Kim margarita swirl.

One of our favorite Tex Mex places in Fort Worth! Great service, generous portions, fun & lively vibes, & delicious food from the apps to dessert! A fun spot for everyone'

Limited parking I was happy I arrived at the time that I did. I was able to walk in and be seated immediately. I sat in the corner as I conducted a phone call and ordered the queso with guacamole, beef and pico. This honestly was amazing. I the ordered the steak burrito and beans with rice. I literally was in a food coma as I ate. The only issue I had with this restaurant was some of the photos on the wall gave me the creeps. I'm deathly afraid of snakes and there are multiple photos in an area. So I ate what I could until I felt my skin crawl and paid and left. The food is good , the photos sent me with my bags packed.

Service was really good. I will say they do a decent job at Tex-Mex. You aren't going to get anything amazing but you will get solid food at a reasonable price. The salsa was a tad too salty but the chips were fresh. The queso was very good a creamy. The Chuychonga was a chicken wrap that was fried but if you dip it in queso it's pretty tasty. The Beef Enchiladas had decent heat to it that wasn't over powering. This is dependable food at the end of the day with good service.

We had gotten out of our downtown Ft. Worth church service and wasn't in the mood to go home and cook. We headed down 7th Street to see what grabbed our fancy and our tummies! As we came over the Trinity River bridge, we spied Chuy's and the decision was made! Fortunately, the after-church crowd wasn't too bad. We were seated immediately. YAY! We really thought about margaritas but decided on iced tea instead. Chips and salsa greeted up. For dipping we ordered some of Chuy's delicious queso. When you're there, don't forget to ask the server for a bowl of Chuy's Creamy Jalapeno did. It's good on everything. After looking over the menu, we decided to split an order of chicken fajitas. Shortly, our server brought our sizzling chicken fajitas to our table. Oh, they smelled SO good. On top of that they had a delicious taste, and the setup had everything to take the fajitas to the next level. We were even visited by "Taco Dude" at our table.

Time for Chuychangas and Fajita panchos.

Hi, peeps. Happy Tuesday. Today was gorgeous. My big bro is in town. I wanted brunch, and he wanted to munch. Munch wins. So it's top down so we can enjoy the breeze on the roll to West 7th Street in Fort Worth. This is high noon, so there were sweet seats on the patio. Love the view because I'm a car fanatic. This spot is perfect for spotting the nicest whips. Fresh warm chip and chunky salsa was out quickly. The server was all smiles. Off to a great start. Had the Chuychanga. The crust is so buttery with a soft crust like a taco salad bowls crunch. Just super delicious. I got the steak fajita with the queso topping. Ask for extra shredded lettuce so it feels healthier. Our server checked on us several times. Super great service. The tea, um, super light and weak. Truly could have just had water with more body. Truly disappointing. All in all, for the fresh air, views, good service, a solid 4 experience. Especially for the value. Take care folks. Get out and catch some sun, fresh air, and fun times.

The outdoor seating is so charming lush plants, colorful flowers, and a peaceful fountain that makes you want to stay awhile. I had the chicken fajita bowl, and it was fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot. The margaritas were definitely tempting but I behaved and stuck with water... next time for sure. Only minor thing, there was water on the floor going into and inside the bathroom, which could be a slipping hazard. A "wet floor" sign would definitely help. Beautiful atmosphere, relaxed vibe. Eating inside is technically a shorter wait, but still takes forever. As a party of two, we waited about 45 minutes just to get inside, and the outdoor wait looked even worse because of the extreme hype surrounding their patio/outdoor space. That said, one thing they do really well is letting you order margaritas while you wait. Getting a pitcher made the whole process a lot more tolerable, and honestly, you have to do it. The margaritas were easily the best part of the experience. Once inside, the atmosphere was underwhelming. It's about as standard as it gets for a Mexican restaurant, and it didn't feel like much effort was put into making it memorable. On top of that, it's cash only, which in 2026 feels pretty outdated and inconvenient. Service was friendly, but slow and pretty absent throughout the meal. We didn't feel particularly taken care of. The food itself was just okay. The fajitas were fine, but nothing stood out or made them worth the wait. Overall, this place feels really overhyped. The margaritas are great and definitely help the experience, but they are doing a lot of the heavy lifting here. Without them, this would have been an even lower rating.

This was frustrating, can you imagine how long it took us to order the meal. Once done when the chicken & steak fajitas came out fresh and sizzling. Chicken was tender and seasoned perfectly where the steak was tough & bland. The wrong beans were brought, but OH Well, no big deal They have a variety of dishes to select from. Normally, that's a dish I approach with caution because it can be a little much for me, but she swore by it. One spoonful in and I wanted to walk straight into the back and hug whoever made it. No exaggeration. The flavors were deep, balanced, and comforting. You can taste the patience, the experience, and the passion it takes to make a dish like that the right way. They have an ample bar space, but it looked like only one patron was interested in that; the rest of us were there to eat. You order your food at the counter and get a buzzer to come back and pick it up. The staff is friendly enough, but you don't really interact with them much since it's all pretty much self service after you go to the counter. The drink station has cane sugar based sodas; it's a bit heavy on the foam, but otherwise good. We opted for the birria pizza, a couple of cups of pozole, and a side of elote. Everything was solid. The elote was good, not great, but the pozole really hit the spot given how cold it was outside. The birria pizza is what blew me away, though.
