This abuelos is nice and I love that it's easy to park at. The food is good and if you know what you like consistent. (Love me a Durante burrito). I would say the serving staff needs a little work. They just always seem inexperienced which leads me to believe there is high turnover over. Would love to have great service to go with the good food. Otherwise I'm pretty happy to eat here.

Great good selection. Something for everyone in the family. Good place for families or a a day out with friends. Portions are huge! And the prices are super reasonable. Their margaritas are great. I have always had great service.

Well in my continuing quest for great Mexican Cuisine Today marks that spot ! A great nice looking restaurant clean as a surgery room Our waiter Colton took great care of us as we had to wait on our daughter and our precious granddaughter Now to the food I ordered the lunch special of Ground beef taco and a cheese enchilada Let me tell you it was probably the best since my return to the great state of texas The lunch hour wasn't packed so you can have a nice conversation without battling the masses

Cinco de Mayo Celebration

Let's celebrate Cinco de Mayo! My wife and I hadn't been to Abuelo's in quite a while and decided to dine there since we were in the area and it WAS Cinco de Mayo. We ordered some queso to start the celebration off with along with a couple of their special margaritas. I love the variety of sauces that Abuelos serves. Mixing sauces is a lot of fun with their thin crispy tortilla chips. I even like their green sweet sauce. Their queso was wonderful, creamy and gooey, just like we like it. My wife decided on the chicken fajita taco platter and I opted for the Juarez platter. It had a crispy beef taco, tamale and two enchiladas, one chicken and one cheese. Both platter came with rice and beans. I decided to order Abuelos "Papas con Chile" instead of beans. I always enjoy them. for a change every now and then. Both of our entrées were delicious and served on piping hot platters. That's always a nice touch at Abuelos, the food always comes out HOT. My wife and I had a very enjoyable visit to Abuelos to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Our server took excellent care of us while we were there. Thank you Abuelos for a very enjoyable relaxing evening.

We don't do alot of chain restaurants but we were in the area and craving Mexican. Our server was the best and on top of everything. You get three types of salsa with chips and all three were delicious. We ordered enchiladas and fajitas and they did not disappoint. The beef fajitas were seasoned beautifully and so tender!!! You get all the toppings and it is definitely enough food for two. I got the papas con chili (?) and they were so so good! Tortillas were a little disappointing but easily overlooked because everything else was so perfect!!!

This is fajitas for one and there "was" enough meat to feed 3! Great taste and quality.

Food- excellent! Service- AMAZING! Emma at the bar was phenomenal. Very attentive and super sweet! Manger-Chad Edwards (super awesome) just overall experience was great. Great food, great atmosphere and over the top service.

Great location off hulen street. The service was top notch and the restaurant was very clean. I ordered a platter for $22.50 which was literally ridiculous in size. It was fresh and hot and 100% worth the price. I would highly recommend this location

THIS PLACE IS A GEM! the server who I'm so sad I forgot her name was absolutely flawless service start to finish. Extremely attentive. Kind. Personable. The food was KILLER. I can't wait to come back and try more food items. The menu was HUGE. So many options to choose from. Oh and the margaritas are so cute they give you a pour pitcher for it so you really get like 2 drinks out of your one. Will absolutely be coming back.

There's plenty of seating as well as bar seating. I've been there on a weekend night when a Mariachi band was playing. That made the experience even more enjoyable. When my family and I go we always eat a couple baskets of their homemade chips and salsa and their queso with meat. They have a mild red salsa and a green spicy salsa. Both were fresh and very delicious. I had the Quesadilla dinner, Mexican rice and Charro beans are included. I must say, I have NEVER had better Charro Beans. My family had the Enchilada Dinner, the Carnitas Dinner, and Cowboy Salad. I can't finish this review without mentioning their Frozen Peach Margarita with sugar, no salt...THE. BEST. I. EVER. HAD.

We always start with a cup of queso, which never disappoints. Some of my favorites have been the carne guisada, beef chimichangas, and camarones al mesquite. My husband usually orders the tacos al carbon, enchilada dinner, or the beef quesadilla dinner, and he's enjoyed all of them. Their margaritas are also really good and pair well with the food. The restaurant has plenty of seating, though it can still get pretty busy during peak times. Even when it's full, it's still comfortable enough to have a good conversation without feeling too crowded or loud. Overall, it's a reliable neighborhood spot with good food, good drinks, and consistently solid service.

The outdoor seating is so charming lush plants, colorful flowers, and a peaceful fountain that makes you want to stay awhile. I had the chicken fajita bowl, and it was fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot. The margaritas were definitely tempting but I behaved and stuck with water... next time for sure. Only minor thing, there was water on the floor going into and inside the bathroom, which could be a slipping hazard. A "wet floor" sign would definitely help. Beautiful atmosphere, relaxed vibe. But we always hear people talk about how great Joe T's is so we thought maybe we just an isolated bad experience 15 years ago. But this time, it was even worse. Maybe people don't speak unfavorably out of fear of being shamed for not praising this "institution"? We arrived on a Wednesday at 5:30 so fortunately our unpleasant experience was not further worsened with a wait. The patio is still very beautiful and umbrellas were positioned to provide ample shade. But the fly situation was very annoying and could probably be helped with the spinning devices on tables or fans spread throughout the patios. The beauty of the patio doesn't compensate enough to endure the flies. The service started out good with waters, chips/salsa brought instantly. But within 15 minutes the service rapidly declined as more customers were seated. It was very tedious to the point of annoying to get refills on our drinks. Literally within 2-3 minutes of ordering we asked our waitress to switch one of the fajita orders from chicken to beef. She initially said "oh I'm sorry but I JUST put the order in". We looked puzzled and said "ok then it shouldn't be a problem changing it?" She went on to explain that she would add the beef to our table and just switch the chicken order to another table next to us who ordered chicken that she had not put in yet. All of that sounded very bizarre but the food was correct when it was delivered our table. At the time the plates were brought we requested a side of sour cream but it didn't come. After 5-10 minutes we spotted our server and requested it from her. But we still never got the sour cream. As I was paying the tab my daughter noticed that we were charged for an extra chicken fajita. So even though the server got the beef fajita added right after we ordered, she didn't take the chicken off the bill. She adjusted it once we pointed out the error. The food was the biggest disappointment out of all of it. I will always give grace to sub par service or atmosphere if the food is great. I say this with the utmost sincerity, I've had more flavorful beef and chicken at Chipotle. The chicken was so dry and served in big chunks which made it even tougher to chew. I seriously could not detect a hint of any seasoning, not even salt. It was very hot but not like the traditional sizzling fajita hot, more like it had been sitting in a heating pan or under heat lamps. For way too long. The beef was a tad bit easier to chew than the chicken but just as bland. The queso that we ordered tasted like canned cheese sauce watered down with chicken or vegetable broth and a tablespoon of pico added. The portion sizes of the entrees, the tortillas, the pico, the guacamole were all very generous. It's just a shame that it doesn't taste good.

From the moment the chips and salsa hit the table, I knew I was in trouble in the best way possible. Normally, that's a dish I approach with caution because it can be a little much for me, but she swore by it. One spoonful in and I wanted to walk straight into the back and hug whoever made it. No exaggeration. The flavors were deep, balanced, and comforting. You can taste the patience, the experience, and the passion it takes to make a dish like that the right way. The service was just as memorable as the food. Warm, welcoming, and genuine. You can tell this is a family affair, the kind of place where everyone cares about what comes out of the kitchen and how you're treated at the table. Los Asaderos Mexican Restaurant is the kind of spot that reminds you why local places matter. I'm already planning a return because there's no way I'm leaving this menu unexplored. This is comfort food done with heart, and it shows in every bite.

They have an ample bar space, but it looked like only one patron was interested in that; the rest of us were there to eat. You order your food at the counter and get a buzzer to come back and pick it up. The staff is friendly enough, but you don't really interact with them much since it's all pretty much self service after you go to the counter. The drink station has cane sugar based sodas; it's a bit heavy on the foam, but otherwise good. We opted for the birria pizza, a couple of cups of pozole, and a side of elote. Everything was solid. The elote was good, not great, but the pozole really hit the spot given how cold it was outside. The birria pizza is what blew me away, though. This was easily one of the most unique, but tasty, things I've ever had. It's not really a pizza, more like a topped quesadilla, but they did a great job of it. I'd not only come back here next time I'm in Fort Worth, I'd be interested in opening a location in Houston if I had the money to franchise it.
