Lone Star Swirl margarita

The food is normally really good but not tonight. Really very disappointed. Ordered to go, paid and sat in the bar waiting for the food. I noticed small stuff, but could tell someone isn't paying attention to small, but important details that DID NOT have anything to do with the food. However, dinner tonight was not good at all. They weren't even busy, but my order came out very quickly. This location doesn't offer fajitas for two, not a big deal, but still. Also we ordered the enchilada dinner. It came with the usual chips, salsa, corn tortillas and butter. The corn and flour tortillas were dry and either old or just overcooked. It just wasn't good at all. So disappointed.

This was unfortunately the Dinner portion of fajitas. Not even full chicken breast! $22 dollars for this!

Food good but not worth the price for a fajita dinner combo. Not even a full chicken breast. Onions tasted like they were boiled in butter. Very disappointing. Oh and this was $22 ....

Brisket Burrito

Visiting on a Friday night was quite hectic -- we couldn't call in to reserve a table; we had to be in person to reserve a spot, and when we arrived, the wait time was about 25 minutes. The staff was kind and punctual, though, so that was very nice. We ordered Brisket Burrito and Mexican Cafe Dinner. The Brisket Burrito was the best dish we have had here. It's large in size, and you will have plenty of food leftover for your next meal. Mexican Inn did not hold back on the brisket. Not only was everything flavorful and delicious, but there was also plenty of brisket left for the next day. If you absolutely love enchiladas, the Mexican Cafe Dinner is the right way to go. The entire plate is filled with different types of enchiladas. I'm not a big fan of it, so I didn't particularly like it. The customer service was great, but nothing in particular stood out. Our waiter refilled our drinks on time and made sure everything was fine. Overall, I would visit Mexican Inn again, but this time, I will order the Brisket Burrito. I didn't order any burrito because I had assumed it would be a small one, but it's actually pretty large.

Called my order and I was told that they weren't taking phone orders. Because it's Father's Day. We called at 11am. We won't come back.

She tried to be friendly but she doesn't quite have the people skills to interact accordingly. I think she only had a couple of tables to wait on as it was four in the afternoon and there were about 10 in the entire restaurant. We would have better service setting at the bar. We had to retrieve my own beer from the bar and then we had to send back my fajitas for being under cooked. The fajitas came back and was tough as boot leather. The chili on the enchiladas had way too much chili powder and the enchiladas were dry. The rice and beans lacked flavor. We never saw a manager walking through out the restaurant nor come by our table after sending the fajitas back. Some of the worst fajitas I've ever had. If it weren't for the hostess and bartender being so nice, I couldn't really say one positive thing about our experience. Very disappointed. We won't be going back for a very long time. If at all.

My wife had the menudo and it was also delicious. The chilaquiles come in a green sauce, with the option of spicy or regular. I had the spicy chilaquiles and they had a decent kick to them. I also added barbacoa to my chilaquiles and the barbacoa was quite savory. The menudo my wife ordered had plenty of hominy and meat in it. The flavor was also very savory without adding any seasonings. I would order either of the dishes again. The service was excellent. The staff regularly checked in on us and they were quite friendly. The ambiance is also very welcoming. I will definitely be back.

I got the Barbacoa plate with 2 eggs, beans and 4 flour tortillas! The tortillas were very tiny and a little under cooked. The barbacoa was very soft and tender however the plate had tooo much grease from the barbacoa. The beans were good and the eggs. Just wished the grease was drained a little. I got the Chilaquiles Platter as well that came with refried beans, potatoes and 2 eggs. The eggs and beans were good the main part of the dish the chilaquiles well not my favorite. The tortillas or chips if you may tasted like old oil. Like the food was cooked in old oil it had a bitter taste at the end. The sauce was good and im sure it is a tasty dish but this was a no! I did order a side of pancakes as well looked fluffy but once eating them they were dried! I added 2 butters and the syrup but wasnt enough to save them. The service was good and like the waitress very humble you can tell its like a family own business! The ambience was very quiet not really a loud or busy place. Over all its a 3 star for me.

First off, my friend and I ordered margaritas on the rocks. They were well made and enjoyable. I ordered chicken fajitas. They were good and plentiful. I was happy with the amount of food. Reasonably priced for the quality and portion size. My friend ordered a double smash burger. The burger was huge. It tasted good, as did the fries. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. The bill was reasonable. Restaurant appeared clean and comfortable. All in all, I'd say our visit was a happy one. We will stop by for dinner and drinks again.

Really disappointing experience at Chili's tonight…read more I ordered a blended margarita, and it came out on the rocks. I explained that I ordered it blended, not on the rocks. The server asked, "You mean a frozen?" I said yes. but still it never came, instead Our main waiter came over and told me that Chili's doesn't have blended margaritas. i said blended and frozen usually mean the same thing but Instead of just correcting the order, he argued with me about the terminology and how they arent the same thing. At that point, I was frustrated and told him to forget the drink altogether. but come on man, I just wanted a damn margarita! Unfortunately, the rest of the meal wasn't much better. Our food took forever to come out. My steak fajitas were dry and way overcooked, and my husband's burger & fries were stale and tasted like our food had been sitting under a heat lamp for 15 minutes before they brought it to us. We also didn't have any salt or pepper on the table. Mistakes happen, and I understand that restaurants get busy. What really made the experience frustrating was the attitude when I tried to clarify a very simple drink order. I wasn't asking for anything complicated--I wanted a blended/frozen margarita, not one on the rocks. Between the long wait, overcooked food, stale fries, missing table basics, and the attitude from our waiter, this was not the experience we expected. Hopefully management takes the feedback seriously and addresses both the food quality and customer service.
