Food comes out Lighting Fast!! Chips have tasty seasoning and the cheese compliments them well. They have cheap cold beers and margaritas (pre-made) tacos taste very good we had the shrimp. This place is similar to Fuzzy's Tacos. We enjoyed it. They also serve breakfast ALL DAY! I highly recommend using the hot suave they bring out on your tacos, it's So savory!! Decent menu. Prefer restaurants that have combos with drink. The cost for two of us was $32 and change at lunch for the two taco plate with two sides. We order two soft drinks. Honestly, about $10 dollars too much. Food was decent though but not the best mexican food. It is Benbrook for heaven sake so three stars is appropriate for the overall satisfaction. If you are looking for quick mexican food with nice folks...this is a good place. Bring some extra dough. read more

I haven't had a bad experience here at the Benbrook location. The cashiers are always friendly. From my experiences, the kitchen has been quick too. I usually get the Gnarly Burrito; which is more than enough food for anyone. The chips they offer are seasoned, which is different, and with a little salt, delicious. The queso is some of the best anywhere I believe and I can fill up quick on that lol. The ambiance is that of a simple Baja taco shop that is customer friendly. read more

What a great little taco shop in Benbrook, Texas. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. For today's visit I had one smoked pork taco, one grilled fish taco and one grilled shrimp taco. They were stuffed to the edges of the tortillas and were absolutely delicious. Great tacos and under $3 each. Their signature sauce is tangy and has a little bite to it...I wanted to steal the bottle LOL! read more

Ok, this place is GOOOOD! I read the other reviews prior to going and heard Fuzzys was better...NOPE! Totally disagree! This place is great! I had the pork tacos (2 makes 4) and my fam had beef crunchy tacos, taco salad, burrito bowl and a burrito with a side of rice. Hands down...YUM! We've driven by this place for about 8 years but have never been drawn in to go. Not sure why. Maybe needs bigger signage at the road or something. I will definitely be going back!! We love Tex Mex and were excited to try this place, but it was unfortunately a let down. The taco shells had a weird kind of musty flavor, and the queso was really bland. The tortilla chips tasted like the kind you'd get in nachos at a football game. The people were nice and the restaurant felt clean, but we won't be back. read more

The Baja Tacos are really good. I always get the ground beef because it's flavored so well and keep them in the soft corn tortillas they come with (my husband gets crunchy tacos). I also get the Mojo sauce on the side. Their Queso is that white creamy cheese full of flavor. Great beer, margaritas, (a little too sweet for some) and SWEET ice tea. My husband loves the cheese enchiladas with onions. The rice is good but the beans are just ok. Not authentic Mexican food by any means but the food has good flavor and the service is always good. read more

Stopped in for a snack on the way back from Granbury. I went with three tacos; ground beef, a brisket, and a pork. All were OK. At $2.29 each, I thought they should have had a bit more meat. Also the meat was not very hot... In the fact the pork was a bit on the cool side, Also I wish they would double up on the tortillas (soft white corn), as all three of my tacos blew out the bottom. The hot sauce on the table was tasty, but also very much like Fuzzy's (this reoccurring comparison is quite accurate). Thuy had a salad ($6.99) with the same pork as my taco, and it too was on the cool side. Even on a salad I would have preferred it to be hot. The interior has a pretty funky design, but I don't care how good the place looks, I want the food to be good. Beer is served and there are some outside tables too. All in all, not a bad option, but not quite at the top of the taco game either. read more

My partner and I have been coming here for several months. The service is always amazing. So incredibly friendly. They are super quick, I think even in a rush the longest we've waited was 5 minutes. The food is always hot and fresh. We only had one mishap, and even then they went above and beyond to fix it. 10/10 absolutely recommend. read more

This place has really changed over the yrs the owner not there as much so when his not there it's not good the employees are not nice me and my wife use to go in there on Saturday watch football and eat have a great time went in there few weeks ago no football on any tv had soccer on two tv and home improvement shows on the other tvs so we ordered I ask the young lady if she could turn one tv to tcu game she didn't say anything wow ok . 3 Parrots Taco ship is 100% my go to local taco shop in the area! This is definitely a must visit! The decor is cute and makes for a fun environment. Everyone who works there is super friendly and super great! You wouldn't think this, but they have some of the best shrimp tacos! I am obsessed with them. I also love the ground beef tacos. I'd highly recommend the ground beef and the shrimp. The chicken isn't my favorite, and the shredded brisket is decent. They'd breakfast burritos are huge and the tacos are great. Additionally, the beans are delicious. One friend i brought there said they were hands down the best she's ever had. The nachos are massive and delicious. They never hover but you never lack for anything. The queso is SLAP-YO-MAMA good. You must try it with the special "secret red sauce" that is at every table/booth. My favorite are the grilled fish tacos. They are moist and so scrumptious. My son swears by the beef and bean burrito. Regardless, you can't go wrong. The food is AHHHHHHSOME. This fast food Mexican place is one of my husband's favorites. Good: The Barbacoa is very well seasoned. Great flavor! Eight beers on draft and schooners are only $2.95 Burritos, tacos, salads, etc. are the same price regardless of your meat choice. Shark sauce is tasty! Plenty of parking. The food is really good and inexpensive. Not great: It can get really loud when you have loud kids/people in the place. It is one big room with no sound dampening. Order and pay at the counter and then hope they know who you are when your food is ready. They may call your name. Proper pronunciation is sketchy. Less than 20 tables. Rather small when busy. Patio seating is really in the parking lot. No shade and no view. This is an excellent choice for a quick meal. read more

All the sauces they have are off the chain good. This is really our go to place in Benbrook and I always get the grilled shrimp tacos which are really good with potatoes and refried beans as a side. We pretty much order out from here at least every other week it's usually pretty good and consistent. It is really better than fuzzy's tacos in my opinion, but it's the same type of concept with slightly less choices. read more

This place is a semi-knock off of the other area chain Fuzzys albeit a more limited menu. I have been several times and while ok, it is definitely not anything special. I struggle finding any fresh ingredients utilized here from the bagged shredded lettuce for the salads, to the powdered/canned queso, to the wholly guacamole tasting guac. I would not be surprised if their meat come already prepared and they just warm it up. The salads are ok and burritos are meh. One positive is the cheap draft schooners. However I would advise to save your money and go elsewhere as there are many great casual Tex Mex alternatives in Fort Worth. read more
