It was late and I've really wanted to try a place devoted to Korean Fried Chicken. I have to say that I was sad to see the mixed reviews, but bb.q was actually top heavy with 5 stars and we were starving. In our case, we were not disappointed and the menu was a lot of fun. Our server was terrific. Sweet, knowledgeable, helpful, and we eventually made decisions on an appetizer and two orders of bone in Chicken Wings. I loved the fact that they brought a liter of cold water to the table. We ordered spicy chicken - of course! We had the Spicy Galbi and the Caribbean Spice (like jerk) - both 9 pieces. The orders came with refreshing little daikon pickles. It was a great deal of crunchy delicious juicy and messy Chicken! We had an interesting appetizer. So Ddeok So Ddeok, a sausage skewer. So I love the bb.q chain and this is the first time I was at this location. The dine-in experience was good. The restaurant was clean and it wasn't crowded when I went with my brother on a Wednesday evening. Each table has a little cup with a bag in it so you can throw your chicken bones into it. The staff were very nice. We ordered three different wing orders and three non-wing orders. The cheese corn, ddeokbokki, and waffle fries came out a little less than 10 mins from ordering, but it took another 15 mins after that for the wings to come out, so honesty it took a little longer than I was expecting. The cheese on the cheese corn was more charred than melted and it was very liquidy at the bottom. The spicy galbi wasn't spicy imo. The secret sauce was waaaayy too sweet for my liking. Everything else was good. I really liked the ddeokbokki. Honey Garlic never misses. Definitely wouldn't mind dining in again in the future with the cook time in mind. read more

I came through on a weekday during lunch and picked up the 9-piece Gangnam wings that are double fried in black pepper sauce along with garlic and onions to balance out the dish. I also enjoyed a draft beer while waiting for my wings to be prepared. Inside is clean and modern with many tables and chairs to sit at. They have a small bar to sit at to enjoy your food and drinks while watching sports on one of their many TVs provided. The service was amazing provided by the talented staff that gave me some insight on flavors and their go to choices when enjoying fried chicken at this fine establishment. They have many other different options to choose from such as a whole chicken that offers wings, breast, and thighs as well as many side dishes to pick from such as onion rings, kimchee fried rice, and fried dumplings just to name a few. My food came out rather quickly and was looking phenomenal. It was plated perfect and had sliced green onions as a garnish and the sauce was evenly coated around the wings. The flavor was impeccable but the crunchiness from the breading made everything better. The wings were deep fried golden brown to perfection. The flavors were bold and brilliant that had me guessing the spices while remaining intrigued by this masterpiece sitting beneath my eyes. Overall, I really enjoyed this tasty and hearty lunch provided by the staff. Brothers and I tried this place out and it was nice. You go in and can either seat yourself at a table or go to the back where the counter is to order to go/pick up orders. There was ample seating with TVs all along the wall with various showings but only one type of audio out on overhead speaker. Not a bad thing though! Just saying there's plenty to watch and it not be overwhelming with different sounds :) When we went there was only one person manning the counter and serving tables. Water was brought out in a carafe with cups. Waffle fries are a must. Personally, my brothers and I only liked the spicy original wings and I thought the spicy galbi was ok. The servers were incredibly kind but the food was really bad. We boxed it up to take it home and throw it away. The breading was extremely thick on the chicken and it had a slight taste of dish detergent. The boneless wings/nuggets were also incredibly fatty, rendering the chicken inedible. My husband and son usually eat everything but they couldn't stomach it. The kimchi rice was also just not good. It was overly salty and lacked the taste of true kimchi - maybe the kimchi wasn't old enough and it didn't seem it was cooked down enough to caramelize. We were so hungry and it was so disappointing to have splurged on this place and waste so much money. The sweet potato fries and the servers were the stars of the show. If you have a hankering for fries I'd totally recommend this place. Also, we might've caught them on an off day because there are other good reviews. I have received food poisoning from this location. I knew the chicken wings I was eating were odd. There was one that seemed undercooked and slimy.
