Excellent experience ... I went to this store to make a takeout order. My order was taken by a super polite crew and it was ready within 15 minutes. At home I found that one of my sides was missing and I called the store. **Here are the reasons for my 5 star rating: as an apology, the store management said that they are mailing me a Spring Creek gift card for MORE than the cost of the entire meal!! In addition to this, the 2 meals I purchased (Baby Back Ribs and Chicken) were excellent in size, taste and tenderness. This overall experience will keep me coming back to this store and should give others a reason to visit this store also. OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE!! read more

We've got to give a big shoutout to JD and the team at Spring Creek. We celebrated our grandmother's 95th birthday. Upon hearing this, JD didn't hesitate. He paid for her lunch, got the team together to sing happy birthday, and brought her a free dessert. JD is an excellent servant leader and made our grandmother feel greatly loved. read more

Not certain why these folks don't hit 5 stars on here but frankly I'm getting to the point that Yelp is suspect here. Bar none I believe Spring Creek is the place. Prices are reasonable and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The fries are fresh out of the oil and Hot! Baby backs are meaty and the brisket melts in your mouth. Fresh baked yeast rolls are served all throughout your meal and are AMAZING! I've done a catered Spring Creek and it was a huge hit. Plus their rewards program regularly gives BOGO! Do yourself a favor you want old time BBQ go here!!! read more

Spring Creek is a traditional Arlington place to go. They have basic Texas barbecue that is excellent. I love their free rolls that they go around. I always have to have those get lots of butter. They're amazing. I love their sides and their homemade pies. They also serve bluebell ice cream there so you can get you know another Texas favorite. But one of my favorite things about the place is that when the original owner was running it they used to always give Teacher appreciation certificates for the barbecue on teacher appreciation day so you could come in with your family and have a dinner on them and even when they expired they still. They're very very sweet to do that for the community. I think they still do it, but it doesn't cover a meal it just kind of gives you a coupon so but still I really appreciate what they do for that. And whenever how fresh bread comes out, they walk around from the tables passing it out. I love seeing them coming. read more

Mother's Day experience at Spring Creek Barbecue 2026 at the Cooper location in Arlington. First, I haven't been feeling well lately due to some health issues, but I was really craving some brisket. I decided to place a curbside pickup order because I didn't feel up to going inside the restaurant. After submitting my order online, I noticed the system had changed my sides. Instead of one green beans and one okra, it somehow switched to double okra. I immediately called the restaurant to see if someone could simply correct it to one green beans and one okra. The lady who answered the phone told me no, they couldn't make the adjustment and that I would need to come inside and speak to a manager. At that point, I just said never mind and asked them to leave it alone because I really wasn't feeling well enough to go inside. When I arrived for curbside pickup, I called and gave them my order number. Then I was told, "We don't have the manpower for curbside pickup, so you'll need to come inside." That was already frustrating because the whole reason I ordered curbside was to avoid going into the restaurant and simply grab my food and leave. Since I now had to go inside anyway, I decided to ask again about correcting my order. I explained the situation to the young lady at the counter, and she told me, "You can't have one green beans and one okra because the okra is considered premium, so you only get the one okra." At that point, I said forget the okra altogether and just give me green beans instead. Honestly, with my health issues, all that fried okra probably wasn't the best idea anyway. She removed the okra from the bag, went back to the kitchen, and got the green beans. While I was waiting, I asked another young lady if extra bread was available. She told me that for takeout orders, extra bread costs 15 cents each. That honestly made no sense to me considering bread is complimentary when dining inside the restaurant, but there's an extra charge for takeout. By then, I was completely fed up. I just waited for my green beans and left. Overall, this was a really disappointing experience. I thought correcting the order during my first phone call would have been a simple fix to make sure my food was right. Instead, it turned into one issue after another: "No, we can't change it." "No, you can't have one green beans and one okra." "No complimentary bread for takeout -- that's extra." In addition, the brisket was pale and bland. Definitely not the smooth Mother's Day meal experience I was hoping for. read more

came for an interview but didn't have enough time to change so i was in sweats and the manager said "yikes" and was rude as f*ck fire him

Tried the Spring Creek BBQ Thursday the 29th of January 2026, the prices are the highest in DFW, and the meat is at best poor quality , the sides are OK, corn is a 5 star, and bread is a 5 star always fresh cooked, i don't order beef any more as it is dry and just a low quality meat, I only order turkey this time, ate 1 slice and noticed the turkey had a bad spot in it , so I just ate the one slice and brought the rest home to our dogs, the cost for a few rolls and a 1/2 half corn on the cob was way - way high, if i go back, i will only order vegetables and rolls. read more

I used to LOVE Spring Creek, it was a staple in my childhood. Went here with a teacher appreciation coupon and it was the worst food experience I've had in years. The meat was cold and soggy, the plates, cups, and silverware were dirty, I received a hockey puck for a roll, and the mac and cheese was cold. We sent back the mac and cheese and it was returned just as cold and I found a hair in it. ): upset to see it's not the same. read more

This place did well, like normally. We went here last night and the food was delicious! However, the iced tea was not up to my standard. Now when it came to Service...I asked for to go boxes at one point, and the lady took not urgency to help. She stood there because she didn't know where to go or what to do. After about 8min of standing, I finally got it. So I still recommend, it's a great place. Just watch out for little service displeasures... read more

Southern Californian visiting my pops in Arlington, TX. We went to Spring Creek for the first time and this place delivers! The meats and sides were fresh and delicious! Loved the rustic country feel of the place too. First we met William, "person who gave meat". He not only did that, he chopped our brisket live and explained the process like a guru. He was good, very good. Then was Shelby "person who gave sides", I'll add "Queen of the sides", "master of mac n' cheese". She made the sides and she knew everything. Every. Thning. She gave us BBQ sauce and sent us on our way! Then Maya, who checked us out so fast, so smooth and efficient. Too perfect imo. So how does a place run this well? I wish I met the General Manager and the one who hired these fine folks!! We need this in Cali! So I know my pops will be back and I'll definitely be back when my LA Dodgers play your TX Rangers! 02/10/25 Monday dine-in. read more

The customer service at this Spring Creek sucks this is the second time I have to have them remake something and then there's no apology

Well, cafeteria style which I'm not a fan, but, is what it is... Combo - Ribs, Chicken, Mac & Cheese, D. Coke & piece of Banana Crean Coconut Pie. We both had same, but other half had Pinto Beans & Green Beans, Banana Pudding. Total $63.00 Ribs greasy. Chicken delious! Mac & Cheese couldn't eat it, lousy. Green Beans good & Pinto Beans AWESOME! Dessert, mine, Pie, still frozen Banana Pudding good. You have to get a tray and move down a 'line' where they serve you. The metal runner our tray was on was filthy!! Hadn't been wiped down at all Should of been our 1st clue ... Will we be back, NO. With so many choices in Arlington, TX, please, I can find better. Would I recommend? NO, sorry. read more

We made a reservation two months ago and confirm 1 day prior to the event and this spring creek in Arlington had double booked. The morning of the event, 3 hours before the event, they called us to let us know that they'd made a mistake by double booking and would not be able to give us the private room. The strange thing is that the same person that reserved two months prior, was the same person that confirmed the day prior. When she called to let us know about the double booking mistake, said she'd called back the night before to let us know about the mistake but, when I told her I did not get a call from them, she said she must have dialed the wrong number. Since the other party was bigger than our party, they call us to let us know they'd made a mistake and would not be honoring our reservation. Will never go to this location again. Now when I tell you I have dreams about this place, I'm not lying. I always think that a chain isn't going to have the best BBQ, but Spring Creek proved me wrong. Totally impressed with the staff! One of our party is celiac. Saturday Night and they brought out a clean cutting board and slicing knife, re-gloved, and very carefully created the meal. All this and didn't break stride. Minimal disruption and no over production. And the beef brisket was moist and the pork ribs fell off the bone. It was great. We'll be back! read more

My BBQ Sandwich Lunch Special was so delicious! The service was outstanding! I'm a senior citizen and I have trouble lifting heavy plates. Before I even asked, the sweet young girl named Alexia carried my lunch to the table for me and made sure I had silverware, napkins and everything I needed. The entire staff went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service and I look forward to my next visit to Spring Creek BBQ in Arlington, TX. The ambiance was well suited for a Texas BBQ. The main reason for this post is for those looking for private dining. Several things--#1, it's FREE ---nothing extra to reserve the space. #2, it's BBQ--most all love BBQ (unless your vegetarian ) and it's good BBQ, #3 they have several locations. No super loud music, casual atmosphere, staff walking around offering free bread and no tipping (since you walk through a line). I hope this helps is your looking for private dining --- defiantly worth looking into. read more

Ordered delivery (first time trying this place!) and we were not disappointed. Ordered two three meat plates: ribs, brisket, dark meat chicken, mild sausage, and Carolina pork. Everything was super tasty! The ribs were EXTRA delicious! I highly recommend if you're a rib lover. We also tried the fried okra and Mac and cheese and potato salad, all of which were really good. 2.5 stars because they offer bbq and represent TX in their decor. But... it's typical chain bbq, not great craft bbq that you can get just a few minutes drive away. I had the turkey just because I didn't want to use stomach real estate on subpar brisket. They have good rolls and Blue Bell ice cream. That's the best I've got. In fact, I stopped at the drive thru at Hutchins to get some TX Twinkies and 1/4 lb of brisket to let my family try good bbq! Hutchins, Goldee's, Hurtado, Panther City, Cattleack- those are some of the names you need to know! read more

I've been a fan of Spring Creek for many years now. In fact, way back in 1990, we had our rehearsal dinner at this location. My wife and I have a special bond to this Spring Creek. We dine here all the time but I've neglected to leave a Yelp review in the past. My wife's favorite thing on the menu is the "Southwest Salad" with the spicy Jalapeno Ranch Dressing. She is not a HUGE fan of barbeque like I am. Me I love their chicken accompanied with all those awesome sides. And the freshly baked buns, oh yum especially dipped in their barbeque sauce. I know, Spring Creek is a chain, but they do provide good consistent barbeque! read more

The food was really good. I got the marbled brisket and pork ribs. Brisket was so soft and tender it just melted in my mouth. It had a good fat layer that was seasoned really well. All the sides were available for you to pile onto your plate. They also come to your table time to time to ask if you want fresh hot bread. For dessert I got the peach cobbler pie with ice cream, yummmmmmm! This is the 1st BBQ place I've been to in Texas, it's looking up right now =] read more

WOW, I cannot believe I've never reviewed this place. This is a local chain that, in my humble opinion, makes some of the best BBQ that I have ever had. I know many BBQ snobs that would never eat here because they are snobs (LOL) but I'll also guarantee that they have never eaten here. The brisket and ribs are always perfect but what I like best here are the sides. You can have all you want. If you want corn, beans, potato salad, and mac and cheese you can get all you want and will not be charged a HUGE price when you check out. Did I mention the rolls????????? Oh HELL YEAHHHHH. They are just the best that you will find anywhere. The service is always fast and friendly and with the coupon that the put out all of the time the prices are pretty darn good too. OK now BBQ SNOBS.... Give them a try or just shut up. You can do it in secret like a Baptist at the liquor store. read more

Wasn't sure of what to expect. Food was good, but not great. Portions on sides pretty good, but 4 ribs is really chintzy, in my opinion. Main courses for all of us looked a bit small. Everyone loved flavor and texture, but could've eaten more. Better selection of beers would be helpful, especially noticed no Texas beers. No craft, no draft. Cafeteria style is okay, just not my thing. read more

I got a brisket sandwich. Sides were Cole slaw and potato salad. I did try another persons fries. I had no idea they would chop and sauce my brisket. Very good BBQ. I love the brisket. They include all the sides you want to eat in the price of the plate. The sides are green beans, corn beans, mac and cheese, coleslaw, pickles, and, jalapenos. They are all very tasty. And don't forget about the rolls. They have the all time best rolls. They will bring more rolls by your table fresh out of the oven. I have had the ribs in the past and they are very good as well. The place is busy on weekends they line up to the door. But the line goes at a good pace. And it will not take long to get your food. I have been to plenty of BBQ places and this is one of my all time favorites. And the best rolls. read more

This isn't going to my top pick for BBQ in Texas. But, when I'm in Arlington this is the place I go with my cousin Janet when I'm in town. It's pretty solid and I like the buffet style where you run the line and pick out the meat, some vegetables and drink. Reminds me of being a kid in Fort Worth and going to Luby's cafeteria. I like the brisket and you get a large portion where you can take home 1/2 your meat for a second meal the next day. I like the cole slaw and the green beans too. I always want to eat me a jalapeño as they are fresh and crisp; but way hot for me. Of course, you have to eat 2-3 of the yeast raised fresh rolls they bake as they are really good and a meal in themselves. read more
