The tater tots are also very good. Fries are very thin and get cold fast. They are good if you like thin fries. They have their own sauces that are a good alternative to catsup. Freddy's is also known for their custards. One day I may try one I imagine is good. Service at this location is okay, no issues for me. I had a cheeseburger at lunch but she did not and I had a craving for a chili-cheese dog. Looking at where we could satisfy both we founded a few options and decided to give Portillo's a try. Atmosphere: It is trying really hard to be nostalgic but comes across as a very plastic version. Still, not bad that is fairly standard these days in chain restaurants. The open layout and tall metal ceilings make it loud, but it was clean and comfortable otherwise. Service: Standard walk up ordering and you collect your food at another counter. They were friendly and ordering was easy, the food was prompt. That being said, other fast food places ask whether you would your food "here or to go" or bring it to you at your table. That did not happen here, we got a bag of food when our number was called. That is below average for the industry. Food: The food was average. Relatively good, nothing that really stood out. My hotdog tasted good. I would have preferred shredded cheese on top rather than melted cheese under the chili. The burger was chargrilled which was nice. Value: Fast food has become ridiculously expensive.

One thing that was new to me, and I don't know if this is reflected across all other locations was the ordering kiosks. This technical advance is neat, but it wasn't the most user friendly and some of the verbiage and options caused confusion. This was annoying that there weren't any human attendants to help out, and there was a line so you felt pressure to figure it out and quickly The menu offers a vast number of tacos. There's virtually a taco that anyone can enjoy. They have chips and queso, guacamole, alcoholic drinks, etc The food was great. It always is. I typically get a trailer park trashy, some other taco, and chips and queso. It didn't take long to get our meal. I will say that the playing, especially for the queso, was messy. Also, the restaurant was packed and it was hard to find a spot. It was probably difficult to bus and clean everything, but the space was less than immaculate Some tips: I do like that they offer breakfast tacos - served all day. So, you don't have to make sure you order before the breakfast menu goes away, because it never does I have found that if you order chips and queso to go it seems like you're getting more of both the chips and queso Cheers!!

Not because I didn't like what I purchased, but mainly because their food is really greasy. I purchased a single catfish, and I was surprised to see that you have to pay for tartar sauce. I understand wanting additional sauces, but goodness, isn't that an addition to the fish? Odd. The fish was delicious and was perfectly cooked. However, it was very greasy. I couldn't eat it all at once, the grease was too heavy. How people are able to eat a basket of their fried food is beyond me; I'd be down for days and miserable. Aside from the greasy part, they are definitely worth the visit if that is something you can handle.

My wife and I were finishing up a medical appointment and our tummies were growling. We'd been talking about stopping for burgers when we saw Hideout Burgers. They checked with us several times to see if there was anything else we needed. My wife is a traditionalist. She likes her fries and a regular ole burger, nothing fancy at all. She loved the fries, and her burger was perfect. I love a good chili cheeseburger and onion rings. Oh my, when I took the first bite, I was in heaven. I had a very happy tummy. The onion rings were over the top. The rings were tender and had the perfect amount of breading. We'll definitely stop in the next time we're in the area. Easy parking in front of store. There were about 4 tables already eating and people picking up to-go orders. Appeared to be several regulars. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We ordered, grabbed our drinks and table, had time to wash our hands then the food was being delivered as soon as we got back to the table! We enjoyed our CHEESEBURGER (I get dry) and MUSHROOM SWISS BURGER! We wanted to try different sides so we each got a 1/2 order of a side. Now that we know the burgers are 1/2lb, we will probably split burger next time. The FRIED MUSHROOMS were great! I enjoyed the light batter. Probably met my max sodium intake for the day by the time I was done. The SWEET POTATO FRIES with sea salt were also great! They offered us sea salt, cajun, or cinnamon sugar as the seasonings! I was impressed to be given options. We will definitely keep this on our list of great burger places to eat at!

The pickles were fried with a lot of batter (which is okay but I prefer a thinner coat), but they were good. The menu said they come with ranch, but I didn't get any in my bag. The only downfall was the wait - they ushered me ahead to wait in my food when (at the time), no one was behind me and the .e other cars appeared shortly after and they also had to pull forward.
