a chicken sandwich and french fries in a styrofoam container

This is good fast chicken and fish. The fish was made to order and so crispy and nice. I loved it. Now the fries were not ok nothing to rave about. However, the service is great and they social distance well. I would come back here.

This is what I was sold! That's a no for me!

Well, normally I try to be patient with people during the lunch rush hour. I made myself a clear as possible as to the pieces of chicken I desired. Of course that was not honored at all. Next, I believe your food should be fresh especially if all you sell mostly is chicken. I was sold refried chicken as a fresh batch. I am a chicken connoisseur and believe me I know refried chicken. I will not advise people to go for hot fresh chicken. Not here!

Well, what can I say? This was a place I have had on my Arlington bucket list...kind of glad I got it out of the way. To start off, I mean we weren't expecting a 5 star luxury experience, but it had the ambience of a laundry mat. There's seating for 4 people - that's it. We went in with very high hopes considering fellow yelpers gave this place 4 stars on average. I really feel like people had their judgment clouded by the portion size and price. That, it did have but surprisingly there was NO flavor. We ordered the 5 piece chicken tender combo. Priced amazingly well at $6.05 including tax. It comes with 2 sides, a roll, white gravy, and a medium drink. The roll was your average grocery store quality roll; even serving it with a good ol' King's Hawaiian sweet rolls would've been better. Every single item lacked flavor and salt - very surprising considering that fried chicken joints are notorious for the opposite problem of being way too sodium-laden. The fried okra was well fried and had a crunch but again, no flavor. Just battered okra bits. The white gravy and mashed potatoes tasted like instant mixes and again needed salt. We clawed at the black pepper shaker and vigorously shook it to help the gravy have SOME taste. I heard the same grievances about the hush puppies and fries. The chicken was also salt less and wasn't crispy. Oddly enough my friend scowled after her first sip of sweet tea. It was SUPER sweet and even after having an employee dump out half and fill with unsweetened tea and more ice, it was STILL too sweet. We also heard an employee (or maybe Lisa herself?) in the back say out loud, "my customers don't know how to count." I'm going to give Lisa the benefit of the doubt and just hope that maybe the chef was out or maybe it was just an off-day? I might come back but idk.

The tenders tasted like fish. You are not suppose to cook the chicken with fish oil. Highly unsatisfied

Has anyone tried their wings yet? I heard on Arlington foodies that they were really good.

I've tried the wings. They remind me of the "blazing wings" you can get from Walmart frozen section. They are good and crispy. They are not sauced.

Maybe Kroger is so dominant that it over shadows the other business. The order counter is at the front with drinks in a refrigerator and home made tea adjacent. We sat ourselves at a table and started a conversation with a couple that frequently dines here. The man stated the French fries are the best in the area. They are double fried with Lawry's seasoning. They were eating their favorite, a Philly cheesesteak and. Chicken sandwich. We ordered mushroom Swiss burger and Big Tex. French fries and sweet potato fries. When I tasted the fries, I confirmed the man's acclimation that the fries are the best around. Our burgers were equally good, very moist and cooked to perfection. The prices are reasonable. This is now one of our go-to burger restaurants.

I really enjoyed the beef sandwich and I always get it baptize. I like to order extra dipping sauce with it so I can just drown it haha. My favorite are the hot dogs, which is what they are know for. I love the chicago style dogs and I love adding ketchup and mustard to my hot dogs. For the side I really enjoy getting a side of cheese and dipping my fries into it, thank me later. The onion rings are also worth a mention, they are well made, crispy and full of flavor. I also had their shakes before and they were pretty good. I once had their chocolate cake and it was very rich in flavor and not dry at all like other cakes. I always eat in the diner because I love how they have decorated the space. It reflects the history of the city of Arlington. It is a mix of car decor honoring the GM plant and part of the decor is also bowling, to honor the national bowling museum and headquarters located in arlington. I love how its so big and spacious. They also sell beer but I never purchase any but thats a cool concept. The staff keeps the place nice and clean, i love how they say your order number and make it rhyme with something. We walked into a clean, casual space with a quick-service atmosphere that makes it easy to stop in for a straightforward meal. The menu is intentionally limited compared to many modern burger spots, but that simplicity is part of the appeal, and the layout of the restaurant reflects that focus on efficiency and consistency. The main highlight is the burger. The patties are cooked fresh, the ingredients taste noticeably simple and balanced, and the overall flavor comes from the combination rather than complicated toppings. We ordered the Double-Double, the signature order, and found it gave a good balance of beef, cheese, and classic toppings that came together cleanly. The Animal Style option adds grilled onions, extra spread, and mustard-cooked patties, which gives the burger a richer flavor profile and is worth trying if you want the more famous version. The patties have a good sear, and the produce is fresh and crisp, providing a clean contrast to the richness of the meat and cheese. The fries are usually the most debated part of the experience. They are made from fresh-cut potatoes, which gives them a different texture than typical fast food fries. Ordering them Animal Style with cheese, grilled onions, and sauce is a popular way to make them more flavorful, since the regular fries can feel a little plain depending on preference. We tried them both ways and found the Animal Style version adds the richness needed to elevate the fries into something more substantial. The shakes are also a solid addition, especially as a simple pairing with the burger and fries, offering a classic, creamy finish to the meal. Service is generally efficient, even when the lines look long. The staff works quickly to keep orders moving, and the made-to-order style means there can sometimes be a short wait compared to other fast food chains. The team handles the steady flow with a practiced rhythm, and the open kitchen adds a layer of transparency that fits the brand's straightforward approach. The locations can get extremely busy, especially in areas where In-N-Out is newer, so peak hours may require some patience, but the turnover is fast enough that the wait does not feel excessive. In-N-Out delivers exactly what it promises: a simple, fresh, and affordable burger experience. It may not have the biggest menu or the most creative options, but the consistency, value, and classic style are what make it stand out. It is a place that works best when you are looking for a reliable burger rather than a complicated one, and the quality of the ingredients and the efficiency of the service ensure that the experience remains dependable across visits.
