One of my favorite places in the Metroplex to get fried chicken. The chicken is always fresh. Prices are unbeatable. I mean $3.99 for 5pc dark?! Yeah it's real. I really love the chicken tenders though. For $6.25, you can get a 5pc tender with two sides, a jalapeño and a drink. Every other chicken place is going to charge you for that jalapeño and some will give you one side. Service is always good and fast. Interesting tid bit, I was looking over the full menu they have attached the drive thru menu. They serve burritos, poppers and corn dogs and those range from 89¢-$1.29 deal after deal with this place read more

Saw this place when driving down the road coming back from Top O Hill and was looking for a place to eat before heading to Wrestlemania. It looks a little off from the outside like what kind of food would I get from here but man was I pleasantly surprised. My gf and I split a 5 piece chicken and 2 sides with rolls for a great price. Especially being from NY and looking at the menu the prices were insanely low. When we got our food and bit down into it, we instantly fell in love with this place. We wish that we loved closer as this would be the go to spot. We even made one last trip here for a 10 piece chicken before leaving and put the chicken in my suitcase to eat back when we got back home to NY and it still holds up being tasty and juicy. Would come back to Arlington just to eat here again. read more

This place is amazing for the price! Cheaper than Pop Eyes and KFC! For the price, this place is worth going to. Delicious souther friend food. My favorites are the fried chicken strips, fries, and corn nuggets. I love the corn nuggets here. Their recipe is quite different from other fried chicken restaurants. The chicken is really crispy and nicely seasoned where you can barely tell. Their meal packages are totally worth it. This location is also close to UTA. I remember in college I would stop by Lisa's Fried Chicken a lot as a pit stop since it was on the way home. The service has always been great every time I go here. Their staff smiles and gives excellent service. I really do appreciate great customer service because when someone gives positive and great energy is memorable and makes you just feel great. read more

Lisa's chicken, I tried another last week with my mom and we got the catfish. Some of the best catfish in the city and unbelievably under $6. The name of the place is Lisa's chicken so I decided to try the chicken and wow was it delicious. Exactly how fried chicken is supposed to taste. Fully seasoned all the way to the bone and crunchy skin but not to battered. I like that fact you don't have to buy a pepper with your chicken because if you got good fried chicken you need a pepper. My brother was with me and he asked had I tried the shrimp so we tried it and I couldn't believe the size of the shrimp it was yummy. So I'm wondering now why I never stopped at Lisa's I have been passing this location for years and never stopped even though the parking lot was always full. Well now I'm a Lisa's fan and there will be no more just passing by because Lisa's will be my destination. read more

I bought a 2 piece dark with Macaroni and cheese on Wed 10/9/19 I have had diarrhea for 4 days Since! The food had to be contaminated or spoiled! read more

Enormous amounts of food for the price.. well worth it for what I paid! If you're trying to save a buck, I highly recommend it.

I visited Lisa's Chicken for the first time about a month ago. It's a small hole-in-the-wall type of place sitting on the corner of an intersection. They have a big menu outside of the building listing all of your different options. They also have a menu inside with more details and a few different pricing options. I ordered a three piece chicken meal with corn poppers. The chicken itself was ok. BUT THOSE CORN POPPERS THO?!?! Listen, those are the truth. I'm pretty sure Jesus would even enjoy them. I would literally come back just for those poppers alone. I definitely will try this place again when I have the chance. read more

I called in an order and went to pick it up. I had several orders and the employee/owner put it all in a box for me. I did not review the order when I left. I live about 7 minutes away from this location. I was almost at my home and at my final stop sign when I realized that someone was honking at me. I took a minute and actually looked in the mirror and the person in the car behind me. I realized it was the owner/employee from LISA's! He jumped out of his car with a little box with my two piece catfish they forgot to pack for me. He apologized and said here is the rest of your order and ran back to his car. He had been following me the whole time and went out of his way to deliver my order. Great experience! read more

I have now tried the new Lisa's Chicken on Bedford Euless Road in Hurst twice and it hasn't improved. The chicken had been sitting there cooked so long it was dried out and tough. Also, just didn't have a good fried chicken taste. I was really disappointed as it is so close to my house. Stay away from this place they just cook too much chicken and let it sit there. read more

This is a corner chicken shack type of establishment. Please do not expect "bells & whistles". However, it is tasty, and a definite good value compared to other fried chicken franchise restaurants. Recommend tenders or the hot wings that are usually dropped fresh to order. Fish looks like swai, so I'd avoid if you're thinking it is anything else. Close at 10:00, so after 9:30 I think it's "clean-up time" and pretty much a wrap on new orders... read more

I had the catfish and it was okay. Looks like they take one filet and slice it in half to create 2 pieces. If you order from there you will see what I mean. They would have been a 4 but because the fish was so thin the fish tasted salty because they are mostly just crust with no meat. I would go back because the chicken was good and the tenders look good. read more

5 stars for the catfish. If you like thin crispy catfish then you should order it. I wish their sides were better though.

This is a great place to get a lot of food on the cheap. Lisa's is always busy when I stop by, but they get you in and out quick. Not a restaurant to have a family dinner at, because the dining room is very small. read more

Stay away from this one!!!! Rude, Rude, Rude! So for years we have been eating here at least once a week. People are always nice, except this last time. We had people over, getting ready for my wife's yard sale, so we all decided on Lisa's Chicken. I pulled in to order, asked about the family meals which I didn't see on their new menu board. The person taking my order snapped and ran off something that wasn't quite audible. I asked another question about sides, and then you could really tell she was very annoyed with me. When I got to the window, again with the attitude. I asked who took my order and she said again in a snotty tone, very emphatically, "ME"! I said okkkk, so now trying to lighten things up a bit, I asked in a joking tone, were you mad I was ordering food. She then, in a more snotty tone, repeated what I owed her, and looked up to the ceiling. I then simply said, and I probably shouldn't have, you don't have to be like that. She then slammed the window on me and dumped my family's chicken out. Ok so now I'm pissed off. I left my truck at the window, and as someone was walking out of their kitchen door, I grabbed it, opened it, and said I wanted the manager. She yelled at me that she is the manager, and to get out of that door. I then go to the lobby door and walk in, now she is yelling at me to get out, and you don't have a mask on, blablabla. I asked for a number to the owner and his name and she wouldn't give it to me. I asked the kid at the register the owners name and number, he said he didn't know, I asked for the managers name, again, he has no idea who he works for. I called her snotty, and left. One woman apologised for the way I was treated, and a guy sitting in his car said, that every time they get a little busy, they treat everybody like that. I'm In corporate sales, and I can assure you, she wouldn't work for me very long, treating my customers like that. We will NOT eat at that location again!!!!! Ever!!! Some things I can take, Rude isn't one of them. After that, drove a few blocks down to Pioneer PKY. They were super nice and gave me the owners name and number. They asked for my business, which they will get it from here on out. RR read more

Great food. Affordable (cheap) new favorite chicken restaurant in Arlington. I'm going every time I'm in the city.

Overall, I don't know of another franchise that has better chicken. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and you get plenty for the price.

I give a 5 outta 5 ! Very good and inexpensive chicken. They also have many other foods like okra, corn on the cob and French fries. The building is very small. There was a man with a good hat nearby. read more

Yum! Great chicken fried steak and chicken tenders, corn on the cob and mashed potatoes. The food is very fresh. My new favorite fast food place. read more

If you love friend chicken, you'll love this place. They have awesome prices. If you want a review of the liver and gizzards- I think they are well priced, great serving size, and hot when you order. You can choose between the gravy or the roll. I'm not a huge fan of bread and I think the gravy really makes the meal. I'd choose gravy. read more

Cheap, original, good batter and every combo comes with a jalepeno and a roll. I know all of this stuff sounds very generic but I think what makes a fried chicken place a great fried chicken place is just simple good ol southern loving on the food with good fried greens and mash potatoes and some of that crispy fried chicken!!! Sigh*** I'm already missing that Lisa's fried chicken and trust me its juicer, tender and better tasting than your church's chicken or even popyes and don't start talking about KFC when the only thing going for them is their biscuits and cole slaw and sides thats it. read more

Lisa's food is my drug of choice these days. I can't get enough. It's that good. Only four stars due to the fact I've gained 7 pounds since I got my first hit of Lisa's chicken. Worth the weight though. Also it feels like a place you'd go to buy actual drugs, like, the non-chicken kind, if you were to buy drugs, which I'm sure you wouldn't. read more

I work very close by .Great chicken, fabulous price, and a drive through that moves at a snails pace. I would not want to be late for work. read more

Everything is good here so far. My favorite is the chicken friend steak, although it is a bit small. The fried chicken is easily better than any other fast food place. The prices are great. read more

Surprisingly good food. Though I've noticed their quality of chicken has dropped some in the past few months. (Tenders and nuggets taste horrible now) The catfish and shrimp are incredible and very cheap, some of the best fried seafood (Well, fish meat at least) I've had. It is disappointing that the chicken has dropped in quality. Since they're called Lisa's Chicken after all. read more

I have been ordering from Lisa's for about 3 years and the food is usually good. I always order the same thing, a tender meal. Tonight when my son picked up our order, it was wrong and whoever answers the phone refused to take responsibility for the mistake, even though he repeated the order back to me. Everyone makes mistakes, but when they refuse to take responsibility for their actions it's wrong. read more

This place is just the way I like it a little hood and really good! The fish is amazing, the hot wings are amazing, the gizzards are amazing, the corn nuggets are amazing, and I can't wait until I can get a jumbo shrimp basket (they were out last time). read more

I love this place, I stumbled across them when I came in for a visit from Tennessee....

I was craving some fried fish today, Normally I get the chicken tenders from this place which are amazing. But I decided to give the fried fish a try and I was not disappointed. I got the 2 fish dinner with two sides and a drink all for under 6 dollars. But I also added hush puppies which were 6 for 1.29 and a sea food gumbo soup for 3.99. Do not judge me lol I eat a lot! Over all the taste and the quantity they serve you is great. The place itself is not fancy at all but those are the best kind of places to find good food at. Hopefully this review helps you guys out. read more

This place is the real deal the chicken is always fresh and when you and taste waaay better than Chicken Express. Honestly the taste was a mixture of Popeyes and Chicken Express; I only gave it 3 stars because the fries had no salt but they had some salt and pepper shakers so I couldn't complain as much. Since the chicken is always dropped fresh be ready for a 5-10 min wait. You can't beat get a 5 piece tender meal with two sides, a roll, and a drink for $6.00 after taxes. read more

I've heard such good comments about Lisa's from friends that I was looking forward to trying it. I went through the drive-in on a Saturday afternoon, and I was disappointed with the chicken. It was overcooked with a brown crust that was so super-hard in places that I was afraid I would break a tooth. I'm serious. The white meat chicken was on the dry side, too. Maybe it was just an off-day, but I would not return to Lisa's. read more

Went to Lisa's chicken on Broadway Haltom City..... Went there a little before 8 pm.... Ordered a 24 mixed.... I asked for it to be fresh... They told me to wait 30 min so I did... They got a rush okay I'm still waitin finally its almost 9pm... I go in to find out about my order... Their excuse was we ran out of chicken... Really.. I told them how can you run out of chicken when I ordered it before the rush.... They looked at me like I'm crazy.... Finally got my order...I asked for everything fresh... Well nothing was fresh ... Everything was reheated.... This is the reason why we go to riverside store because you get what you pay for..... And they treat you with respect.... Broadway.., they are rude they always have attitude.. I really hate going there.... And this was the first time in 3 years that I had been there..., so that should say something.,,, I would not send my friends or family there ever.... The sad part is... You report them to the manger or owner.... They don't do anything to correct it... read more

The food is very delicious, but the restaurant is very small and decor of looks run down. While wait time can vary; what has been consistent is the attitude of the employee. Very often the person running the register till is rude, slow to announce an order is ready, and is very slow preparing drinks for the customer. One other incident is that I walked here one night, and I was refused service for not using their drive thru. I explained that I did not have a car to the employees inside and was told to leave. I like this restaurant but that is inexcusable. read more

The bone in amd boneless chicken is wonderfully tasty and seasoned to perfection! The okra is also great! I like the crinkle cut fries...but must eat them while they are hot. I am not impressed with the chicken fried steak. It is ok for the money. Also, the Gravy is watery and thin. I am ok that it is packaged, but the consistency needs work as well as salt an pepper added. All in all, Lisa's is great! The portions are huge and their prices are small. I would just recommend sticking with the chicken alone. You will not be disappointed! read more

Good chicken! Somehow, they're related to Church's Chicken. Same taste, same chicken cut (scrawny breasts and wings with breast meat on them) same fries same roll and a pepper. read more

My mom lived near Lisa's which is how I first learned of the place. Very good food for the money, but the people make the difference. When mom was sick, and didn't want a full meal, she would order one chicken finger and a biscuit. The folks at Lisa's would only charge her one dollar. When I'd pick up mom's meal, I'd try to get them to take a little more. "Come on" they'd say, "it's just one piece of chicken". They wouldn't take any more than a dollar. So now I go back because of the kindness they showed my mom, and because the mashed potatoes and corn nuggets and catfish and chicken are awesome. I don't live near Lisa's, but when I'm in Arlington, I make it a point to eat there. read more

Went there tonight, Server was a short haired woman. She avoided all eye contact. I asked for tarter sauce, she neglectide me, After a few minutes some one else dumped a few packets of pre-made tarter sauce in my to go bag. The food was well prepared; the service sucked. I watched another patron get real tartar sauce as I waited for my packets. Will give this place another try, but unless they get rid of the entitled owners daughter, I don"t expect much. read more

It started out with me and my sister who was in town visiting looking for the Ultimate Chicken snack. We were really hungry for some Chinese...(I was anyway). She wanted Chicken Strips, I wanted Chinese. So we're driving around for an hour and I just happen to drive down Division street and poof! we come up to a sign that was almost a godsend at the moment. Lisa's Chicken...Looks like a hole in the wall (my type of gig). We drive up to the Menu board and find a variety of snakalicious snackness amongst the choices...Immediately my sister orders the Corn Nuggets...As I was scanning the Snacklist on the menu... I stumbled upon a choice that was almost unbelievable to my eyes...EGGROLLS? At a chicken stand? I was in disbelief. I ordered 2. I just had to try an eggroll from a Chicken hut to see if they could pull it off. Well...to my amazement the Eggrolls were not only HAND MADE and rolled, but ABSolutely Delicious and lipsmackingly the best I had ever tasted. The Corn Nuggets were creamy and crunchy at the same time...Absolute divinity. The best part is coming up...The Chicken Strips are to Die for. They just melted in my mouth with their absolute deliciousness and cream gravy goodness. Mmmm... On a side note... I visited the chicken stand this past week to find that they didn't have the hand rolled Eggrolls any longer. But the eggroll was still bigger than the usual frozen fair at the Chinese restaurants. Sooo Sadly it seems that the sought after handrolled eggroll is no more :-( read more

I eat at this particular Lisa's Chicken 2-3 times a week due to my addiction of their onion rings and their chicken tenders are a hit with the kids. I take advantage of their carry out and my order is usually ready in 10 minutes. The only issue I have experienced is my order not being correct a couple of times, but I still recommend Lisa's Chicken on Division any day of the week!! read more
