Really bad experience! The girl taking our order couldn't seem to hear us. Got to the window had her ear phones in kept saying "huh" then pulled the ear phone out of her ear....then couldn't get an answer about what kind of sauce comes on the fajita wrap I ordered...then when we asked for ketchup gave us 2 packets for an order of onion rings and fries. I happened to be riding past this place to meet a friend for dinner at Chili's. Man the burger was huge and I had to cut it in half and still didn't finish it. I loved the crinkle fries as well. My friend ordered a double burger and an order of hot wings. Needless to say we both had leftovers because we could only finish half the burger because of the size. The staff was okay but could be friendlier and more welcoming. The facility was clean. This place is just a mile or so down the street from my job. My friends from work order here all the time, and yes I did just say "order". We call it in ahead of time for one of us to go pick up for the crew. They split it up, by names and when one of us get's there it's usually already ready and correct, can't beat that huh!? Especially when it's lunch time and everyone is in a hurry to get back to work. Some of our favorites are the crispy chicken sandwiches, the crinkle cut fries of course, the burgers are good and they have Blue Bell Ice Cream, which is a staple here in Texas. And by the way the "basket of fries" great deal, and can feed like 3 or 4 people easily. Neither the drive through order area or pickup window are protected by any type of awning or cover. I was drenched inside my truck just by the time I got through ordering. Price and service seemed reasonable. I always have my fries first. I lived in Belgium for a few years a long time ago and I am an expert on fries as I can judge them based on world standards by the folks who perfected them. That said, a portion of mine were stale and nasty. Most were fresh, about 1/4 wasn't. I even felt bad about giving them to my dog who has no standards whatsoever. The burger was okay, average by all fast food standards. But by the time got to it, my opinion was formed. It will be a long, long time before I decide to spend any more money there. There are just too many better places available. Update a couple days later. My daughter and I were both sick after eating here. It's guaranteed I'll never be back. Simple Cheese Burger, hold the pickles and onions, side order of fries and a coke. Less than six bucks. But the meal didn't sit well on my stomach, or taste good, so it was a bargain wasted. There are so many better burgers around, and they are served in more cheerful surroundings than this chipped formica joint with an ancient projection TV. They were actually pushing Deli Style sandwiches as their specials, so maybe I should have gone that way. The place is newly renovated, therefore it looks a lot nicer than it did before. The service is what brings this rating to a 4/5. Employees here are very apathetic. I would expect the workers to be a little less awkward and a little more welcoming to the very few customers that they receive per day. The food is good; extremely fresh crinkle fries and buttered toast on the side of almost every menu item. I ordered the chicken finger basket, which was good. The chicken was seasoned correctly and had a crunchy breaded shell on the outside with succulent white meat in the center. My boyfriend ordered steak fingers that he absolutely loved. I didn't know he was such a fan of steak fingers, but he emphasized that the steak came out perfectly. I was really glad he had a great first experience there. 4/5 stars.
