This bustling little shopping center makes Jersey Mike's seem kind of cute, haha, like you're going to a trendy little sandwich shop. But it's better without the trendy prices! Jersey Mike's needs no frills--it's a simple sub shop with sub sandwiches, chips, and cookies. I'm not the biggest sub person, but I blame the gluten free bread. I am grateful Jersey Mike's even offers it at all (Udi's brand), and really it's not that bad. I usually get the Super Sub: provolone, ham, prosciuttini, and cappacuolo with the usual shredded lettuce and tomatoes and such. Yum. Once i said the name, the woman told me it was being worked on. I said no it wasn't as they were doing walk orders as they came in. 20 minutes later, once the walk ins slowed I got my sandwiches. We have always went online, ordered and picked up at this location, but we were in the area and decided to stop by. My normal "go to's" are the giant Big Kahuna cheese steak or the giant portabella cheese steak. This time I ordered the giant original Italian, based on what I read in multiple publications as the best Italian Sub that you can order from any nation sub shop. We went to this jersey Mikes as it's the only one we usually go to have always had great experiences. There's a young man that always remembers us and I feel bad I can't remember his name to give him a shout out. Today however he was not there and the women, who I think may have been the manager on duty left a bad taste in our mouth. She was telling a lady that there were no banana peppers which was fine but then later after the lady left out loud in front of about 6 customers she then proceeded to tell the store as well as her co workers that she knew that lady was going to write a complaint on her. Then with a busy restaurant and all these people still waiting for their food she left one of her associates out front to go to the back to talk to someone about the situation, loud enough to where we could hear it in the front. She seemed so nice and then ended up being very unprofessional and had a bad attitude that just did not provide a good impression of that team or location. read more

I came on a Thursday during a huge lunch rush. Even with it being so busy and only 2 workers I thought it was going to take a while which is okay since it was during lunch. I was pleasantly surprised that an awesome guy named Trey was so nice and calculated with each and every sandwich with ensuring and triple checking that the sandwiches are made to each persons specific preferences. He did not get overwhelmed in fact I think he enjoyed that fast paced environment! He had an awesome personality and attitude I am definitely blown away by how he really lights up the room. I have seen jersey mikes a million times, but had never paid any attention to this establishment for some reason. I recently received coupons in the mail, which drew my attention to their menu. They have a mile long list of different cheese steak sandwiches. Lately, I have become very fond of this type of sandwich, so I had to give them a try. Their menu offers cold or hot sandwiches and wraps. Your sandwich comes with 3 choices of bread: white, wheat, or rosemary Parmesan (this sounds delicious). I was curious about low carb options, basically they can take any sandwich and put it into a bowl with lettuce or whatever else. I was hoping they had lettuce wraps, but they don't. Oh well. I ended up getting two sandwiches: the big kahuna BEEF cheesesteak and the big kahuna CHICKEN cheese steak. I had never even heard of chicken cheese steak, out of curiosity I had to try it. The big kahuna comes with grilled onions, peppers, mushrooms, jalapeños, and American white cheese. They cook it up on the grill right in front of you. The cheese gets melted right into the meat and veggies and everything is mixed all together. Yum. My only complaint was the cheese. I guess I prefer my cheese steak sandwiches to have provolone not American white cheese. I didn't notice this when I ordered. The cheese was also a little rubbery. I will prob substitute for provolone next time. Other than that, I really enjoyed my sandwich. I won't hesitate to come back, once I get more coupons. read more

Jersey Mikes has the best subs and salads next to Ginos on Arkansas. I usually stick to the Italian sub which has a variety of meat and cheese selections on a delicious roll. I am so happy that I have a location fairly close to my home. The great thing is that if I am not feeling the carbs that the bread brings to my meal, their salad is a great substitute. I must say that they are short on the lettuce but it is replaced by the meat which is ok by me. My next sub to try is the cheesesteak. I have seen it made several times but I have never ordered. I must say that living in Philadelphia for a while made me a bit of a snob when it comes to any cheesesteak. So, I will give them a try and let you all know what i think! read more

My first time to Jersey Mikes was yesterday and I have got to say, I was pretty impressed. They offer friendly counter service and great food. I'm putting them above firehouse and subway. I really enjoyed my big kahuna cheesesteak sandwich. Their subs are a pretty good size and have a lot inside them. I appreciate how they grill your meat and veggies right in front of you. A freshly grilled sandwich really makes a big difference. In comparison, subway puts your sandwich in the toaster oven and the cheese simply melts on top. We placed a to-go order yesterday for the Jersey Mike donation day and we're very disappointed that the cookie and drink for the child's meal were missing. The sandwich also barely had any meat on it. Ham is not that expensive, put more meat on your sandwiches! The other sandwich, the new Portabello mushroom hot sub, was pretty good.
