I came here cause Akira would always tell me how y'all had the bahn mi sandwhich in the world and a 4 sandwhiches for $15. Let me just say she was not wrong! Best bahn mi sandwich and a great deal 10/10 will be back! Will be telling everyone about this place because Akira helped me find this golden overlooked gem!

This is my family and I's go-to place for banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich) in the Arlington area. We love the banh mi dac biet (combination). They offer a lot of other things besides banh mi but most guests opt for that. The sandwiches are $5 each but they also offer a deal of buy 3, get 1 free. The service is great and the sandwiches are made fairly quickly even with how many order they need to make since they usually receive larger amounts. I would recommend calling in advance to place your order and usually it is ready by the time you arrive. The size of the establishment is fairly small with many people usually doing to-go; however, there are tables available to dine-in if you choose to do so.

Awesome deal!! Lady is quick to order so make sure you're loud and clear when you order.

My aunt got us an order to go from here after my cousin recommended it and it was one of the best Vietnamese sandwiches I've had. The bread was soft and chewy (not hard and tough like a lot of places do it), the meat was plentiful (grilled pork), and it was large and filling. She packed all the veggies on the side (I'm guessing to avoid sogginess). Only con from this experience is the lady working here didn't speak any English and she had to find someone to translate for her.

I've had Saigon deli in garland, but I forgot they had one in arlington. Decided to try it and see if it was the same quality, and I would have to say the banh mi was pretty solid, and it was only 5$ which is nice compared to some other banh mi places. I got the banh mi dac biet which is the combination, and I think the ratio of everything in the banh mi was good. I loved the amount of pate that was put it in. It was a pretty solid banh mi. I also got the banh bao to try, but it wasn't my favorite, I feel like it had a weird aftertaste to it, but it might have just been me. Overall I would add this place to my go to banh mi places when in arlington!

Really good Bahn Mis. If you buy 2 you get one free. It's small but the service is fast and ordering is fairly easy.

While the customer service is adequate, the prices are affordable, and the space is bright and clean, so what's the issue? The food. There's no doubt the places is quite authentic and has the old-school charm of an establishment that's been around forever, despite only opening a little more than a decade ago. Seating options are limited as the setup is meant for in an out action. It doesn't stop locals from coming in, especially since the parking lot is almost never full. (#1) Like many Vietnamese bakeries, they offer numerous pastries and desserts, along with cold drinks, and ready-made items for takeout. Despite the banh mi bread being freshly baked, the banh mi seems overly average. Their thit nuong isn't all that sweet and the spread is limited. I've had mildly better results with their dac biet, but the paté is lacking, the pickled veg is abundant, but the meat cuts are slim. Smart people know not to shoot for any milk tea or boba, but instead shoot for nuoc mia (sugar cane juice) or a caphe sua da (Vietnamese iced coffee). The former is heavily powder based, which is expected since this is not a dedicated boba spot. Service will also vary and to no one's surprise, speaking Vietnamese will go a long way. I wouldn't rule out a feature return, but I have a feeling the next time I'll stick to drinks only. ___________ (#1) With the exception of big events.

There was a bit of a line but it went reasonably quickly. Upon entry, you grab a tray and tongs, then make your way down the line of self-serve enclosed glass cases with shelves of fresh good. We chose a savory breakfast sandwich, an Almond Croissant and another sweet pastry. In line, the offered to heat our sandwich which we allowed. Then we ordered coffees, paid and sat down. A few minutes later, we walked back up to collect our coffees. The breakfast sandwich was tasty, though the ham and cheese in the center of the sandwich was untouched by the heating process. Next time, we'll ask for a longer heating cycle. The pastries were good. Not as good as made that morning in Paris, but better than most places we've been in the US. We also took some dessert pastries home for later that same night. My wife's was sort of ho-hum but mine was fabulous. I had what I guess would be a cro-nut?? Sort of like a doughnut that was made in layers of pastry, then cut out with a donut cutter. It had a filling in the center and had a sugary coating. SO GOOD! We'll be back to Paris Baguette and we'll try other items and for sure, we'll ask for our heated items to be heated a bit longer.
