I came here after work, it's a burger place in a gas station building. I ordered the gyro burger and tenders baskets. She said it be 12 minutes to make and it was. The baskets came with can sodas but they were really cold and I appreciated that. I tried the tenders basket, I really liked them, they were more country style tenders, the fries were good too. The burger is a burger with gyro on it, it was amazing, the burger was good but the gyro meat took it over the top. The lady was nice and it was cheap. I'd come back.

I would definitely not pass this place up go and try it off yourself and see what it's made of, and ENJOY cause I know I definitely did. Ratings for food: Burger: 4/5 I'd save overall amazing burger loved it, just in my own opinion different bun? Otherwise amazing!!!! Fries: 5/5 I didn't know, but it even had some seasoning put on it!! Was awesome! Loved it. Service: 5/5 Sweetest lady, working away by herself! Support this small business cause it's a blessing to have. It's hard to find anything negative about this fantastic dive. The burgers are massive, the fries are like crispy McDonald's fries, and it's super cheap. The dude working was incredibly meticulous about the placement of ingredients on our sandwiches, as though he was creating a work of art. Anyone putting that much care into their work is going to do it well. Excellent "burguers."

If you just need something to eat and don't want to drive anywhere go ahead and try. I went to give it a try and it was pretty beat down, dirty and the lady cooking wasn't too friendly and welcoming. Not sure if she was scared because I was the only customer and wanted to dine in. The burger was pretty plain and nothing to it really. The menu was pretty extensive but I wanted to see if a simple burger would taste like a mom and pop home cooked burger. By no means am I wanting to prevent people from trying this place but on the contrary, please do. If you have a better experience please post and let's challenge our local businesses to better serve us as we support. We want you to succeed but at least be friendly to ALL. If I got a "welcome, have a nice day or thanks for coming" It would've added to the experience. read more

Sketchy. My daughter had seen the outside before and did not want to go pick up food for us. She said it was shady and sketchy. The Yelp profile affectionately calls it "divey". But under protest, the daughter went to pick up dinner. She texted while waiting and reiterated the sketchy component. But you know, the one thing I absolutely did not want was another franchise burger. I'm 68. I've eaten a lot of franchise burgers and I just can't stand another. So let's get to it. I started with the fries. I lived in Belgium for a few years and the Belge are the unquestioned world leaders of fries. These are pretty darn good. They are done. They are crisp. And they are absolutely not greasy. That's how they're supposed to be. And they use a seasoned salt that was a nice touch. I got a double meat burger. The patties were thinish and looked well done. Sure, medium to med-rare is a pretty target for a chunk of beef. But I didn't have to chew through that much protein. There was an appropriate ratio of meat to everything else without making a huge mess. The burger was a solid hit. Maybe a touch too much sauce for me, but that's being very picky. It was a solid, satisfying meal and exactly what I was hoping for. We've tried divey joints before and came away with sadness. That's not the case here and this will definitely be my go to place for when I want a real burger and don't want to fire up the grill or griddle here. read more

This store is a find. If you're ever looking for some fresh food for a good price, this is the place to go. I had the Philly cheese steak and it's definitely one of the best ones Ive had in a while. If you don't trust me, come by and try it out. The burgers are rocking and I was surprised at how much food they give you. This is a college students dream and no doubt I'll be back. I was a little hesitant walking in because it's a really small place in the side of a gas station that doesn't look too promising but oh my god that was the best burger I have ever had in my entire life!!! The staff is so friendly and their menu is very diverse. I have recommended this place to everyone I know and will never stop. read more

Almost passed this place up but I'm so glad we didn't. I had the Mushroom Cheeseburger, the hamburger was Texas sized and delicious. It was so fresh and the mushrooms were sautéed perfectly. The fries were great too. The lady at the counter was so sweet and friendly, this is a spot where regulars come! This is a hidden secret! You must come here to eat, you won't regret it. read more

Lived in Arlington/Mansfield area for almost 20 yrs and didn't know this place was around. I recently added Yelp App to phone and was looking up burger places. So adding App to find stuff in places you have lived for Years is still helpful to find Gems. Very small place, would probably miss it if not trying actually find it. Got the #1 combo cheeseburger/fry/drink and added bacon. The burger is big. Fry's are great and seasoned with seasoning salt. My only thing is there should be a 20oz cup for soda instead of a 12oz cup. Definitely would recommend. read more

I've eaten here before and the food is okay. I'm giving them a 1 star because they charged me for pickles on my burger. Everyone knows pickles come on your sandwich automatically. I'm tired of being nicked and dined by these establishments. read more

For the price I was very disappointed the food was bland no season at all but it is real beef lol & the bun. Incredibly satisfying. We were in the mood for classic, good old burgers and this really hit the spot. We got the double combo (two burgers, two fries, two sodas). I find that a lot of places skimp on the toppings (lettuce, pickles, tomato, etc), but this place adds them generously. The buns were good quality, not like the ones you get at the supermarket from a bag. The fries were perfect, and made even better by a delicious seasoning salt of some sort sprinkled on top. Also, the woman running the place was very kind and friendly. We'll definitely be back! read more

I am NOT KIDDING!! Great hamburgers in this little, bitty burger shop that is connected to a gas station. You must go, order and enjoy the cheeseburger combo for less than $5.00. KILLA! Not only is the burger delish, but the generous helping of fries could compete with Mc Donalds any day!!! Burger joint for sure with 3 booths. Find it on the SW corner of Park Row and Collins. YUM!! Best burger place in Arlington, great little hole in the wall. Would highly recommend the burgers, they're big and she makes them exactly to how you want it. Easily better than airways or in and out. Bunions was a place on the map that we were not familiar with and decided to give it a go. The atmosphere was very interesting...a bit of a dive bar vibe, and part honky tonk. The burger sliders were great on my opinion. My boys both got Binion Burgers and gave them the thumbs up. My wife got the fish&chips and liked it. The surprise of the night was my daughter, who is normally an insanely picky eater...scarfed down a whole plate of the Binions mac&cheese.

Burgers were decent until I attempted to bite into a piece of bacon which was tough as leather and eventually removed all bacon pieces from my burger. My husband liked his meal but could only eat 3/4 of the burger and fries. The onion rings were dry and some were even hard and tasteless. Service was good and place was clean with plenty of tables and booths. Next time we'll stay closer to home and save some time and money when craving a burger.

My uncle and aunt hadn't heard of it...and we almost drive by, as it was hard to recognize in the strip mall, with the Mahogany name on the front. But, once we walked in, we were instantly welcomed! We had the BEST time here! The food is delicious and the people are super friendly and helpful. We were starving, so we started out with some fried pickles and beer...while we waited for our entrees. I guess I didn't take enough pictures of the rest of our food, but it was all so good! The fried rice was delicious...full of flavor and piping hot! The Texican Burger is what I ordered...it was the perfect side, cooked to perfection and it was packed with flavor! We LOVED this place!

When you order you tell them what items/condiments you want on your burger and they write it on your bag and put your name on it. Ketchup is on the table and we usually add that ourselves. The fries are not super special but are good. The rings were not super battered and you could actually see the onions. They added pepper to the batter and it tasted great. Use ketchup or ranch on fries or rings to your taste. You need to ask for ranch for the fries--the rings come with one ranch. The servers are usually friendly or at least efficient. We have had their shakes before and they are good. We like this Kincaids location the best.

By the time the store opened, the line had grown to being over twenty parties long, so plan accordingly if you don't want to be waiting for a while. Between the four in our party, we shared a three meat BBQ plate with bacon burnt ends, brisket, and their house made sausage. For our two sides, we chose their hatch chile mac n cheese and their Mexican street corn. Following the recommendations of many Yelpers, we also ordered two of the brisket tostadas and two of the birria tacos. When we received our plate of meat, I was a bit surprised at how little of each meat there was on the plate, but in hindsight, this ended up being the perfect amount of food, where everyone was able to get a sample of everything. Of the items we ordered, my favorite was definitely the burnt ends. These were melt in your mouth tender, and was insanely rich and decadent. Each of the three pieces in our order had a beautiful bark on the outside that resulted in a satisfying crunch with every bite. The casing to the sausage was snappy and the sausage itself was very juicy. The brisket was fall apart tender. The brisket was a bit light on seasoning, so I ended up using the Aztec Gold BBQ sauce they had sitting at the table with it. The sides that we chose were both delicious. The pasta in the mac n cheese was cooked perfectly and the noodles was generously sauced. The elote was sweet and smokey, and the Cotija cheese added creaminess to the side. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Hurtado Barbecue and wouldn't hesitate to recommend a visit if you're in Texas and are looking for great tasting BBQ.
