I swung by this Torchy's location for lunch the other day. It was the identical experience you would find at most any other Torchy's. One thing that was new to me, and I don't know if this is reflected across all other locations was the ordering kiosks. This technical advance is neat, but it wasn't the most user friendly and some of the verbiage and options caused confusion. This was annoying that there weren't any human attendants to help out, and there was a line so you felt pressure to figure it out and quickly The menu offers a vast number of tacos. There's virtually a taco that anyone can enjoy. They have chips and queso, guacamole, alcoholic drinks, etc The food was great. It always is. I typically get a trailer park trashy, some other taco, and chips and queso. It didn't take long to get our meal. I will say that the playing, especially for the queso, was messy. Also, the restaurant was packed and it was hard to find a spot. It was probably difficult to bus and clean everything, but the space was less than immaculate Some tips: I do like that they offer breakfast tacos - served all day. So, you don't have to make sure you order before the breakfast menu goes away, because it never does I have found that if you order chips and queso to go it seems like you're getting more of both the chips and queso Cheers!! read more

Was out of champagne when I went so couldn't get minosa but ended up having their sangria which was excellent! I also appreciate that you can sit up at the bar or sit in the dinning area! Torchys Tacos is located off E Broad in The Shops at Broad shopping center offering breakfast tacos, regular tacos, chips and queso and many more delightful goodies along with a full bar of Alcohol and beer! I usually come here for the drinks since they open at 8 am and serve alcohol to their guest. They serve a variety of tacos on flour tortillas and chips along with queso. Ordering is quite simple here as to where you would make your way to the cashier and place your order and take a number to your desired seat. They offer a wide variety of seats inside with plenty of chair and tables. They also have a covered outdoor patio as well with seats. You can always sit at the bar and order from the bartender and enjoy your drinks at the same time. The menu is bright and colorful and easy to read with prices and description of the food. They offer many daily specials throughout the week along with food and drinks. They also have a weekly happy hour on drinks such as beers and cocktails. I have ate here once and the food tasted great and was well seasoned and maintained the perfect temperature. The staff is very polite and friendly and is always eager to assist and help out in any way. The service is fast and prompt and I have yet never experienced a bad time here with food and drinks along with customer service. Overall I really enjoy my time here and the daily drink specials they have to offer to their guest. I want to try more of the food they have such as the burritos, chips and queso. This place is more of taco/burrito fusion. Everything I've had here is pretty darn good & flavorful. We've had the salmon, Baja shrimp, jerk chicken, steak burrito, trailer park trashy tacos. The fried Baja shrimp taco is tasty with crunchy shrimps, even better with the slightly-spicy creamy salsa that comes with it. The jerk chicken taco is tasty with hint of sweetness from the pieces of mango & spicy kick from jalapenos bits & the sauce l. If you like milder spicy level, I'd use a small amount of the sauce, since it's about medium spicy level. The hillbilly queso is also yummy. If you have a healthy appetite, you'd need 2 tacos. The tacos are so good because of combination of toppings, so you would not experience the full flavor if you eliminate some of the toppings. It's cafeteria-style ordering & seating, which we like, so we don't wait on servers to order or to get drink refills. Torchy's Hillbilly Queso is a must when we go! I love the Crossroads taco and my hubby gravitates toward the Democrat! We no longer live near a Torchy's (dang it) so when we saw one in Mansfield, we were excited! The gal that brought out our food was less than friendly. Shdd Wed seemed to be going through the motions...no smile, no pleasantries, just a bland food drop. She should work on that so that service quality matches the food quality. read more

A friend and I recently visited Torchy's Tacos at their Mansfield location. It certainly lived up to my expectations that Torchy's has for delicious tacos in a lively setting. As always, the food was a highlight. I had a couple of chicken fajita tacos and we also had some of their quest and chips. Torchy's unique twist on tacos gives each dish a distinctive flair that sets it apart from typical taco joints. The environment at the Mansfield location is vibrant and inviting, a little louder than other locations I have visited, but not bad. They have both indoor and large outdoor patio areas for seating. The outdoor area has traditional tables and picnic tables under a large, covered roof. It was raining but we chose to sit outside because it made for a neat lunch. Food and service was excellent during our visit. The server brought our appetizer and our tacos quickly and with a smile on her face. It seems strange to say it, but these days, service with a smile can be tough to find. Kudos to our server on that! All of our food was hot and fresh so it seems they are very efficient. Overall, this was an excellent visit and it seems the Mansfield location is doing a great job of taking care of their customers. I would definitely recommend them as a place to grab a taco with a bit of a twist. read more

Trying to order over the phone is bad experience. The AI can't get correct build your own taco information and kept trying to add pinto beans when they were not asked for. It was easier to just drive to the location and order with a human. However they still messed the order up! We asked for a taco and they put it in a cup???? AI is nice but you might need to look at it and tweak the programming because it could be causing you to lose business but then again it might be learning by the same humans that can't get the order right. read more

Such a great vibe in side and the weather in Texas is finally cooling down below 90 degrees so you can sit outside and take advantage of the patio seating! Torchy's really has the best tacos ever! I'm never disappointed stopping at a location. Wish they had one in Jersey- I'd be there around the clock. Stopped with while visiting my friend and ordered my OG favorite the Tipsy Chick and then added the new flavor of the month, Tokyo Drift. Also ordered a side of queso and chips. Everything was amazing. So good, I placed a second order the following day, with a side of guac and chips, which were phenomenal. Can't wait for my return back to visit my girlfriend to buy more. Asked one of workers there to surprise me with one of the less popular tacos because I've eaten more than my fair share of democrats, republicans, trailer parks, and baja shrimp. Work lunch, usually once a week. I don't really go for the quick dine and dash, I go to sit and do paperwork at the bar. Usually with noise cancelling earphones. I say this because during lunch, between the extreme volume from the music and the many patrons trying to talk over the extremely loud music, it gets a little deafening. Of all the things this would be my biggest complaint. Turn down the music!!! It's not a dance club!!! It's a taco joint! Brian is my usual bartender. He's a great guy!! Remembers my usual order. Works the lunch rush. Chips and queso are always good I my opinion. There is always more queso than chips, yet they always keep my basket full. The tacos are good. They do have an off menu selection, they don't tell everyone, but if you ask for it, they'll let you see it. It's items on the menu with different variations. Some a re pretty darn good. Stopped by for a quick bite after shopping with wife. Quick service at the counter with a very nice employee. Had the Trailer Park and the fried shrimp taco, both were excellent. Hot sauces provided added depth of taste to each one. Queso and chips were equally tasty. Food was served very quickly. I had a small margarita which is great for a lunch margarita. Wife had a small Ranch Water. Bartender was efficient, quick and very nice. Lots of people in the place today so it was understandably a bit noisy but still a fun place to be. read more

Have been a fan of the tacos, the dessert Nookies and margaritas for quite some time. But today my wife and I are eating differently and only wanted a salad. I wasn't excited about eating here because most taco places a salad is an afterthought. Tonight I was seriously impressed with the my meal. The salad starting price was reasonable and add chicken $2+ and add Salmon $3+. A really nice portion of both. You can see 2 pieces of blackened salmon and excellent flavor both perfectly cooked. We have been waiting for such a long time for this place to get up and running and then the original wild crowd to calm down. Decided to come very early on a Tuesday to beat the rush. Its order at the counter style so if you like a minute to make decisions, be sure to review the menu before hand because you will want to really read and think about your choices. We ordered a variety of tacos between the 3 of us and some queso to start. Food was out and at our table very quickly. Mine came out boxed up to-go for some weird reason and the other 2 did not and the girl delivering it really didn't seem to care but whatever, it eats the same.
