Fresh tacos & Aqua frescas, generous portions! We got the Tues special of 5 soft tacos with a large Aqua fresca for $9.99. Young a choice of red or green sauce. Tacos were filled with tasty, juicy meat, with fresh chopped onions/cucumber/cilantro on side (fresh & yummy with a tinge of tanginess). The green sauce and a so good & spicy hot (I love). We got the horchata & mixed fruit aqua frescas, both so refreshing, just the right level of sweetness. They put chunks of fresh fruits in the mixed fruit Fresca, so good! Service was efficient. The place is spacious, bright, & clean. They have ice creams & frozen bars that we need to try next time. read more

Very convenient location with friendly, quick service. Orders come with plenty of food so come hungry. Not the biggest fan of their beans and rice. Very bland in my opinion but their tacos were great! I got a variety and I think my favorite is the pastor. I don't recommend the queso. It's just cheese dip and it reminds me of ballpark nacho cheese. Just not my preference when it comes to queso. read more

We pass by Taqueria Taco Express all the time, and we've been meaning to try it. We came on a Tuesday. They have a really great deal for taco Tuesday for 5 tacos and a drink (agua fresca included) for only $10!! We got the extra large elotes, two taco Tuesday deals with Horchata and watermelon agua frescas All the food was hot and fresh. This is definitely the spot to go to if you want authentic taste. The front desk attendant is super nice and answered all our questions. The restaurant was clean as well. read more

Great nachos, I like their quesadilla plate, lots on it. Love their street tacos and green salsa is great! Also their fruit selection is great and always looks fresh. However, today I ordered Uber Eats from them and was very disappointed in their Carne Asada- tasted low quality and fatty, almost like liver, instead of steak. Also the order of tortillas maiz had no flavor and strong oil taste. read more

First time visiting Taqueria Taco Express....very impressed. You order at the counter and they will bring your food to you. The service was very good, very pleasant. I ordered the Agua de Limon and it was tart and very refreshing. I also ordered the Carne Asada. They gave a la he portion of Carne and it was delicious! The meal comes with lettuce, avocado, onions, and lime. It also comes with rice and beans. The beans were thinner than others, but the flavor is good. The rice was a little bland. The salsas were a little too spicy, but I will admit I didn't go ask to see if there was a milder one (I will next time). Definitely worth more visits!! BTW - they have ice cream! read more

Overall very good place with variety of Mexican food and Tex Mex including California burrito which is a carne asada burrito with fries inside. I wish there was a little more spice to the burrito but they have salsas to help with that. The restaurant is small but not too busy. They also have very good desserts including a vast variety of handmade popsicles, fresas con crema, chocolate covered bananas, churros and ice cream. I often come more for the desserts due to the great taste and variety for everyone. read more

I personally did not enjoy these tacos. I felt like the meat was dry especially the chicken. The service was great. The restaurant was clean inside. I was craving some street tacos and the place that I typically go to was closed today. I decided to look for another spot. This place has 4.8 stars on Google, so I thought let me give it a chance. Btw one street taco cost $2.91. I feel like that was kind of pricey for street taco but on Tuesday's they have a deal, five for $10 including a drink, so that's what I got. I got pastor, steak, and chicken. Like I said, I felt like the meat was dry, the corn tortillas could've been cooked longer, I felt like they were barely on the grill. The sauce was spicy, which I like. For my drink, I got the strawberry limeade, which was good. I don't think I'll be back because you only get one chance to mess up street tacos for me. But this was my experience, obviously people have enjoyed this place hence 4.8 stars on Google. read more

I picked up my recent meal and it was not great, the Pollo Asado plate. Beans and rice lacked spice, no salt at all! The chicken and veggies were good but overall not pleased. Corn tortillas were ok. :( Last year, this same plate was Amazing! Not sure when I will try this place again. read more

Really good tacos, the steak & barbacoa is all I've tried and beware it is pretty greasy. Their prices are a bit high for the portion you get, however on taco Tuesday 5 for $10 tacos including flavored water is a good deal. They also have normal large taco bundles like 20 for $29.99 everyday which is nice because I'm tired of driving to the Westside FTW to get good tacos! Also the churro is the best I've ever had, but pricey at $2.50 each read more

excellent service, wonderful food and the Agua fresca is outstanding - try the watermelon!!!

Great customer service is the key of a successful food establishment. If staff takes care of the customer they take care of the restaurant. Both times i visited, Julie was on top of the front counter, managing walk in orders, to go orders, and giving everybody excellent service with a friendly smile. Excellent authentic Mexican cuisine, salsas are made fresh and very flavorful. I had a Torta first visit today, and it was great. Served with fries it is a delicious & filling meal at a good price. Too many other places try to pinch their pennies by reducing serving size which makes no sense to me, cause isn't everything bigger in Texas? Thank you Taco Express for a delicious meal and great experience. read more

Amazing food! We were driving around looking for a new food place to try! We passed this and then turned right around. My boyfriend went in first to check out the menu and then he came out with his approval. We ordered the California Burritos and Flautas plate! We love authentic Mexican food and this is it! The burritos were huge and very filling! The flautas plate also came with rice and beans! Customer service was A1 and everyone was friendly! We will be back and I'll add more food pictures! read more

Breakfast taco was awesome with chorizo! I'll be back! And that green salsa was delicious!

Great little place! Definitely recommend! Tried the pastor tacos, and the chicken flautas with beans and rice and we bought a container of guacamole, everything was so flavorful and fresh! We had the Elotes too and it was awesome too! I do wish that they would have made it spicy when we asked instead of just giving a side of hot sauce, but it was so creamy and delicious that I'd order it again regardless! Loooove all the snack and sweets options, we will be taking some home! This is a new go to for sure! read more

Very delicious and quick friendly service. Clean dining area and large selection of items: I would recommend trying the food here.

I got 2 beef tacos & 1 birria taco. The beef street tacos were just okay, but I am an admitted taco snob. Not very flavorable, but the salsa was good. The birria tacos were extremely greasy!!! The tacos were pricey especially considering the quality and quantity. read more

The last few times I've ordered delivery, they don't center the food container in the bag. When the delivery driver grabs the handles of the bag, the container turns vertical, and beans, rice, Enchiladas, etc. become a big pile at the edge of the container. Imagine all your food in a bowl and stir it up. read more
