Tried Main St. Tacos during a recent parade and the place was SWAMPED... with good reason because the food here is delicious! We got a pastor burrito and a cheese quesadilla and devoured them! The burrito was a good size and hit the spot after being out in the sun all day. They also had great options for salsas. I got the habanero and Serrano ones and both were so good! This place also has women-only (that I've seen at least) working here and they absolutely give it their all every time! My first impression during the parade was that they were all hustling and people were willing to wait for the great food. My second time back now and they are still working just as hard with a good sized crowd on a Saturday night. This time we ordered Lenga tacos, an asada burrito, a cheese quesadilla and a birria taco. You know it's damn good when the second time is just as good as the first. What I get: Birria barbacoa (a little on the dry side), pastor (very flavorful, but was a bit on the dry side the second time) and carnitas (my fave 10/10). Their chips are thin, crispy and fresh. Now, the highlight of Main St Tacos is their horchata. I have the craziest cravings throughout the week for it - 10/10 must try. Environment: It's definitely a cozy spot, but the workers are extremely on top of keeping the dining area and salsa bar clean, even during busy hours. Pass by this place last month on the way to the brewery. A few doors down, but knew I needed to come back and I'm very glad I did. I'll authentic Mexican food with an amazing salsa bar and all the right spices on the meats. I had a bar of taco, which was Perfection even without the consommé. Taco was delicious and so was the Siguelo. Friendly helpful staff the place was packed and you can't beat $1.25 street tacos for the taco Tuesday special. They should advertise that although it doesn't seem they need the business since, there was a line out the door tonight. Really tasty! We tried the tacos this past weekend at the Pickle Parade. They had a booth just outside their restaurant. I got the asada and you could add your own onion and cilantro. The grilled jalapeño the included was fire! Absolutely delicious. Their jalapeño sauce was also good. Both have heat so if you are not a spice person, you may opt for milder sauce and no pepper. They were mini tacos (to me) and at 2.00 per taco, it was reasonable for fair food. I may have found another gem for my taco cravings! read more

Main St Tacos helped save the day when I came to visit. We had come to visit another shop recommended nearby. This area is a cute area that I wouldn't have ever heard of if I hadn't needed to come out for a couple other things. We went somewhere else to eat after we got amazing coffee at a place across the street. I had said to my husband maybe we need to scrap our OG lunch plans and come to Main St Tacos, but when my husband has a plan he sticks to the plan, so we took off a little further out to another place. Unfortunately the other place ended up falling short of the hype that had made us take the drive too it ... so my husband ended up coming back to this area to grab me a couple tacos to try out to make up for the disappointing other place. The street tacos we got, while on the smaller side, were outstanding. Looking more at their menu there are a number of other things I'd like to try. Went to get Tacos for Cinco De Mayo. I normally patronize Tacos La Banqueta but thought I'd give Main St Tacos a try. I'm sorry I did. They do not handle large orders well. I ordered online which was convenient, got to the restaurant my order was just sitting on the front counter while other customers were standing over my order reaching and carrying on. My order of 10 chicken tacos were just that chicken. No cilantro and onions, just DRY! They were out of limes so they gave us lemons. The steak was over-cooked and the chicken was flavorless. Cute little restaurant. I'm guessing it's family-owned. They have a lot of options, but I chose brisket on both my taco and the quesadillas. The quesadillas are unlike any I've ever had before. The tortillas are homemade and it's a lot of cheesy goodness. The woman said they come with beans inside, but I didn't taste any. The brisket was average, but overall I liked the quesadilla. The taco was lacking in flavor, so I wouldn't get it again. The salsas were more creamy than acidic, maybe I'm just more used to not creamy salsas. The ambiance and services aren't what you go for here but it is in the hip old-town Mansfield area so it's has area ambiance even if the interior isn't anything to crow about. The only thing I do recommend is that the patio gets cleaned (deep clean/ water w/ vinegar or something) because it is always dirty and there is always a lot of flys. Our first experience with this restraunt was less than satisfying. We ordered a Cuban sandwich and a Chicken Quesadilla. Chicken Quesadilla was lacking flavor and had shredded cheese(tasted like white American cheese) and was dripping grease. Cuban sandwich lacked any real "wow" flavoring. Bread wasn't toasted and just didn't hold together good. We have been told by another family member this was a very good place to eat. We will give it 1 more try to see if we just went on a bad day. Green Jeep Taco Talk. Main St Tacos in Mansfield. They have a Taco Tuesday special. While the tacos were good all the meat seemed to be the same. We had a brisket taco and a steak taco. They have a ton of options, tons of different sauces to try. The only issue is all the meats, kind of taste of the same. Just like the spices that they were cooked in. I'll go back and try it again. I mean it's not outstanding but, with all the options and the specials that they have it will be worth trying again. The place is very clean. The staff was very friendly. It was busy during lunch. They were both extremely flavorful and the sauces provided, specifically the chipotle one, was a perfect pairing with anything in the shop. Will 100% be coming back to eat again. read more

Main St Tacos was such a pleasant surprise! My wife and I were nearby and it wasn't our first choice...but I'm glad it's where we ended up eating because it was DELICIOUS. I ordered the El Alambre H's and, holy crap it was good! It's a good amount of food, but the flavor was so great that I had a hard time stopping even when I was full. The small corn tortillas that come with it were fantastic. Main St Tacos also has a great little salsa & sides bar with really good salsas. If you're in Mansfield...go there. read more
