When we are sticking to a low carb diet we do the keto tacos, which switch out the tortilla for a melted cheese wrap thing or lettuce. The cheese option on the keto tacos is so amazing, extremely tasty and filling. When we go off plan from our low carb, we enjoy all the carbs, so very tasty and yummy. Ordered through their online ordering app and when we picked up our food, a big part of our order was missing. Had called to get it taken care of and the person said a manger would call me back since she wasn't equipped to do a refund, which I only requested since we had company over that day and wasn't able to drive back another 20 minutes. I had accidentally missed the call from the manager, tried calling them back several times with no answer. No resolution was offered and I'm extremely disappointed since this is not the first time that something was missing from an online order that I made. Was craving something different so decided to support a local business. I was immediately greeted by a friendly staff member. She answered all my questions and provided some recommendations. The restaurant was extremely clean and well organized. I went with keto tacos for myself, gorditas for my husband and chicken strips and French fries for the kids. The keto tacos are a hard item to pull off with out burning the cheese shell. They were successful! They were pretty tasty and had good flavor. The chicken was a bit dry but nothing the wide selection of hot sauces couldn't fix. The gorditas were a hit. Well prepared and flavorful. I really tried liking this place and gave it several chances but the quality just keeps getting worse. The meat has been undercooked many times, is overly greasy and leaves a bad aftertaste. I'm not sure if it's the cooks or what, but the quality just isn't there. Especially for how overpriced everything is. We had high hopes for this place but unfortunately we waited 35 minutes for some carne asada tacos and a a quesadilla. Our order was wrong when we finally got it, and we didn't t want to wait longer to get our correct order. The carne asada used in the tacos were ground beef. I've seen other restaurants use ground beef and call that carne asada so it might be a preference. I really wished I took a picture, but the food was so good we ate it all up. We have been living here for a few years now and never really explored the downtown area. My wife and I have been craving Street tacos, but most of the taco places we found it was only Tex-Mex tacos and those are not the same. We're from California and miss the simplicity of a street taco; tortilla, meat, onion, cilantro, lime and salsa. Thank God we found this one, so close to our place, very clean, with great flavor. Unfortunately I rushed out before I got to look at the salsa bar, but the small salsas they gave us a preview. The meats were very flavorful, we got asada, lengua, carinatas, chichirones, and chicken. All very good, still much more to try next time we are craving tacos. Came here Saturday 11/21 and tacos were amazing decided to come back today and was very disappointed. All the tacos meats were dry Carne asada and Chorizo. Came here for the first time. We tried to get a little bit of everything. Orders chip and salsa, elote, 2 tacos Al pastor, one steak and chicken taco. The Al Pastor was fantastic! Steak taco was pretty good, and the chicken taco was kinda dry. To be fair, I don't think I've been to a taco place whos chicken ISNT dry lol. I will say I found the salsa from the chips and salsa a bit lacking in flavor, and the elote was pretty bad. Maybe it just wasn't made properly, but I only tasted the corn and lime juice.
