We ordered two glasses of fresh-squeezed oj, and it was legit fresh and very reasonably priced - so many places overcharge for fresh squeezed juice and this place has much better quality for way less dollars. The service was excellent - multiple check ins without hovering. The staff really paid attention, and the patio seating was perfect, they set up the umbrella for us, and it was quiet and peaceful - a completely different atmosphere from inside. Walking into the diner takes you back to an earlier time, but the smiling faces of the servers keeps you engaged and craving every bite. I got the Chicken Fried Steak combo with a waffle, and it was great! The steak was fried to perfection with golden brown skin, and the grits provided were creamy and to consistency! My wife got the tenders and grits combo, a meal that she ate and left no crumb to be scavenged after.
