We got a pastor burrito and a cheese quesadilla and devoured them! The burrito was a good size and hit the spot after being out in the sun all day. They also had great options for salsas. I got the habanero and Serrano ones and both were so good! This place also has women-only (that I've seen at least) working here and they absolutely give it their all every time! My first impression during the parade was that they were all hustling and people were willing to wait for the great food. My second time back now and they are still working just as hard with a good sized crowd on a Saturday night. This time we ordered Lenga tacos, an asada burrito, a cheese quesadilla and a birria taco. The food was still good and the salsa is still spicy and bomb. Thank you to the workers here for providing a great service and tip notch food!

The restaurant has several tables for dining in and the space looks clean and simple. There's plenty of space for large or small parties to dine in if they want. The lady taking my order was nice and patient as I decided on what to order. I ordered a potato, egg and cheese taco on flour tortilla and a lengua taco on corn tortilla. They were both very fresh and seasoned perfectly! I usually get a lengua taco in new places, if they have it, because I feel like lengua is a little complicated to season right and if they do get it right the rest of the tacos are usually amazing.... Let me tell you I was licking my fingers on how good that meat was seasoned! I also loved that the potato tacos tasted very homemade and not like they used frozen potatoes and the tortillas also tasted freshly made. I'm definitely going to come back! I was thinking of Sunday breakfast tacos but they're closed Sunday so that's the only down side for me....but they still get five stars for their service and amazing tacos.

Clock hit 10:55 AM. so I walked out and left. Wish I would of grabbed a to-go cup and filled it withk some horchata to take with me. They did waste my time. I did leave 2 stars on the memory of them having good food.

I'm from California and we know our way around some fine Mexican cuisine but Mama Cuca's was SO good. I spent two of my 4 nights in Midlothian at this restaurant. The grilled and stuffed poblano pepper is an absolute MUST HAVE. I'd never had it before but at the recommendation of our server, I gave it a try. I would have kicked myself if I had passed, it was outstandingly well prepared and flavorful :) But this review isn't actually about the food ... @Jessica and @Paty @Guillermo I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Andrew on my first night at Mama Cuca's and America in the bar on my second night. I've worked in Michelin restaurants in Napa Valley and these two professionals are genuinely absolute ACES in the craft of customer service. I don't write reviews to complain so when i take the time to write these it is because the service or quality was so outstanding that I NEED other people to know so they don't miss out on such an incredible experience. Both America & Andrew had us laughing and enjoying every minute chatting with them. The incredible food, combined with incredible staff ... needless to say I passed along my experiences to the folks I was in town to help with a tech deployment and will be coming back myself in a few months when I'm in town again. THANK YOU SINCERELY, America and Andrew, for providing one of the most enjoyable dining experiences I can recall. I would come back for the food but i will be back multiple nights for this incredible experience. You two ROCK!!!! And Paco, I met you late in the experience but i gotta give you props, from a former bartender at some swanky spots ... you're a REAL ONE my man.
