After mixed reviews, I decided to give King China Express a try. The General Tso's chicken was not that good. Some pieces were tough as if it was overcooked. The white rice was clumped, not fluffy. The eggs rolls were way too oily. I also had the shrimp fried rice, which was really good. It was a little salty, but flavorful. Overall, I give it a 3 out of 5, it wasn't the worst Chinese food that I've ever had, but it wasn't the best. I am from NYC, so my standards for Chinese food are quite high. read more

Whenever I'm in the mood for fast Asian food, King China is my go-to spot. They're my go to spot because their affordable, they always give plenty, and their food is good. It feels like every time I go here the food just gets better. I've been able to have their sweet & sour chicken, coconut shrimp, sesame chicken, and orange chicken with their fried rice. The lunch options are great! I got the General Tso's Tofu with steamed rice and it was very filling. The only thing I'd change is the fact that they won't let you substitute a spring roll for an egg roll, specifically on the vegetarian entrees. It would be nice to do this for no cost, instead of having to pay a dollar. read more

In my opinion, Panda Express is better for the basic orange chicken, fried rice and chow mein/lo mein. The employee that assisted me was respectful and friendly. I was really hoping to like this place because it's fairly close to where I live. However, this is the first Chinese food place I have ever been to where they don't even put peas & carrots in the fried rice and they don't do not offer noodles with their combos as an option. You have to pay $2.00 extra for half & half meaning fried rice & noodles. I paid extra because it was lunch time and I ordered a lunch special. I grabbed my food and quickly got in my car I had 2 children with me under 5 so I was in a rush. Once I got home and opened my food I was very disappointed because I like vegetables in my food. Fiber is important! Plus, I know it's a lot of people around here can use veggies in their diet wherever they can get them. Anyway, the lo mein was just plain noodles; no cabbage or anything. Really? I was going to give the fried to my nephew that doesn't eat meat but that didn't work out cause it was just 2 clumps of rice. I don't eat Chinese fast food often and my frame of reference is places in Southern California so I was extremely disappointed by the low quality of the food. I ate a few bites of the orange chicken and it was good. The flavor was good in the low but the lack of variation in texture, color and veggies made it hard to eat. In the future I'll just go to Panda for basic Chinese food because it isn't the healthiest but at I can get some veggies in my basic food. read more

This spot has a lot of potential but it falls short of expectations. I came with my family yesterday and we got our food togo but it was disappointing. I ordered the spicy Thai noodles that she wanted to make sure that was what i wanted because it was very spicy so i was excited but it was not spicy and very oily. My husband who hates spicy ate it and was fine. I was disappointed with that and the amount of oil, the lack of meat inside. She made it seem like there was lots of meat and shrimp but there was not. My husband got the combination fried rice and it was good lacking meat also. My nephew got the orange chicken with fried rice and he said it was good but oily also. The outside looked skeptical . We walk in , the atmosphere was quiet and one girl was I. The corner hiding behind her backpack. The menu was on the counter and on the wall behind and a over the two cashiers. I read the previous reviews and got nervous but we were hungry and still ordered. I got the "Pepper chicken & shrimp fried rice combo meal. #1 thing it was cheap and affordable like round about $8 bucks! the fountain drink was a dollar and change. It took a minute for the cashier to find pepper chicken on the cash register because it was under "Bell Pepper Chicken" which wasn't a huge difference lol. Fast forward I order two fountain drinks both raspberry ice tea luckily I got ice for me and sister which the machine was out of they took my cups to the back to fill with ice. I begin to fill the iced cups and the tea begin to run out by the second cup. We received our food I checKed every container no bugs!! Thank God! My pepper chicken was stingy it had more bell peppers and onions than chicken (two pieces) but it was good. The shrimp fried rice was good as well but I only had 4 pieces of shrimp. I've been to quite a few Chinese restaurants in my life time (a lot) for that price I received a wayyyyy bigger portion. I ordered three dishes yesterday, combo fried rice, Singapore Noodle and lemon pepper chicken wings. The chicken wings were fine. Fried rice just passed muster. It has been much better in the past from the same restaurant. Singapore Noodles - Absolutely AWFUL !!!! They used to make it really well, say a year ago. Back then it resembled more of what other Chinese place serve, meaning a yellow looking dish, a good amount of appropriate vegetables, etc. What I received was a dish slathered in soy sauce. I really could not taste the curry. The meats were cooked ok, but their flavor was destroyed by the soy (or whatever they used to make the dish brown. Even the green onions were brown. What a tragedy! A complete disappointment! It will be quite a while before I eat there again. I would not recommend this place at this time. Maybe they had a turnover of chefs? If you're looking for a killer egg drop soup. This is the place to go!! It's got a salty broth in it with corn that pairs excellent with the egg yolk! I've only been once and had the Hunan chicken which was just ok, and the crab Rangoon's...had they been fried and not baked they would've been pretty awesome!! The egg rolls are pretty good. Service and quality has deteriorated over the last few months. This is normally our go to place. The last three times we have ordered the girls seem to be overwhelmed when they get a few orders. I never see the older lady helping in the front. They seem like they care more about the people calling in orders then they do about the customers that are standing in front of them. So let me just say... I'm in love with this place. I am a huge fan of boba and let me tell you there's a super nice lady who makes the best smoothies and hook you up with an awesome amount of boba! This is probably the only place i know who makes smoothies with boba and it's super cheap too. It's actually sad because they know me haha. I always come in for my fix weekly (judge me not). Their egg rolls are always fresh and not overly cooked or greasy. And let me tell you, they stay hot for at least 7 days (exaggeration calm down guys). First time at this quaint restaurant. I will be going back . I was impressed by the cleanliness and the smile I received as I was welcomed. The food was hot and ample amounts as well. I ordered the Hunan Tofu and it is a spicy dish, it was seasoned well and not overpowering with spices. The egg drop soup was rich, thick nice color and very flavorful.
