I recently visited Panera after a considerable period and chose to order the Green Goddess Cobb Salad, eagerly anticipating my meal. Upon receiving my order, I found myself somewhat disappointed. My dissatisfaction stemmed from either the portion size in relation to the price or the overall atmosphere in the drive thru, or perhaps a combination of both. However, when I went inside the establishment I approached a staff member to discuss my concerns, I had an exceptionally positive experience. The manager, Mr. Brandon, although initially unaware of my issue, immediately put me at ease by simply asking how he could assist me. He listened attentively to my problem, maintained a calm and composed demeanor, and exuded a generally pleasant aura. I highly recommend visiting and extending your greetings to Mr. Brandon. He demonstrates remarkable skill in his role and genuinely prioritizes delivering excellent customer service. It is truly about more than just the food; it's about enjoying a delicious meal while having an outstanding overall experience. You all are doing a fantastic job. read more

Order was placed on kiosk and never went to the kitchen despite paying for it. Bathrooms were nasty and staff could be more polite when asking what was taking so long for our order to be ready. Nothing to note on food since we left. The ambiance was chain level Panera. Wouldn't go to this Panera in Cedar Hill if you have other options. read more

The food here is exactly what you would expect from any other Panera establishment. As a chain the quality is the same across the board. If you like it, you like it. My biggest compliment for this specific location is that the restaurant was very clean. The tables were wiped down and turned over promptly, there was no food/debris on the floor,... even the restrooms were clean (I checked). But the service is slooooowwww. omg here I go again its May 2025 saving time I went through the drive-thru and they still are terrible I'm done, finished, kaput, that's it that's all no more, I ordered the new croissant toast black forest ham it looked promising on tv but that's a lie it was so messy I couldn't believe they served it this way it fell apart while I was trying to pick it up it had more gruyere sauce than Mt. Everest has snow, the bread was holy, due to the sauce was so thick, and I ordered the bacon and cheese souffle that too was a big mistake to it was hard and dry as the Sahara desert and the bacon was hard as lava rocks this is unacceptable but the company don't even care I will never go back and they had the nerve to ask me about an award program I should be getting a reward for even ordering this mess you guys need to step up your game read more

We haven't been to Panera Bread for sandwiches for a few years. But my hubby saw a commercial with the Bagel Stack ones so we tried them. He got the Chicken Roma Asiago one & I got the Zest Tuscan Asiago one & we split them & the large Mediterranean Salad, no chicken. Both sandwiches were absolutely delicious & the salad was even better. The only thing we didn't care for was the Bacon Mac & Cheese because they left the Bacon out & we didn't feel like driving back to exchange it. The service was pretty good through the Drive Thru & pretty quick. We will be back for those exact sandwiches again. read more

I have been to many paneras and have never experienced so many things unavailable on the menu at the same time. Then I had to clean my own table as they were all pretty dirty. Went back to this Panera on Tuesday the 7th, arriving about 7pm. Ordered from Kiosk after waiting over 10 minutes at counter. Kiosk indicated ALL the "new" food items were sold out, most soups and just about every side item / dessert. So ordered what we could and went to the drink machine and found it had no ice! Tracked someone down and asked for EXTRA ice for our three drinks. Ice in the cups barely covered the bottom of the cup. Whatever... Received food quickly and it was great and also hot, as usual. Since we didn't get abused by staff, didn't wait a copious amount of time for food and restrooms were clean, I moved them up from two stars to three stars. We have always enjoyed their food ... it is always service related issues. BTW, we watched as we ate and every person coming into restaurant had to go get ice from the counter. 20 minutes for a wilted salad and greasy old bacon. This location has gone downhill. I had the Greek salad with dressing on the side. Not only was my salad missing said dressing it was also missing bacon. I was told they had no more goddess dressing on the side so I asked what dressings they did have. Also, why not tell the customer beforehand instead of just handing me a salad with no dressing? When I sat down I realized they had forgot to add my bacon. I go back to the counter and they say they are out of chopped bacon so I'm forced to ask for whole bacon. Again, why hand a customer a salad with a missing component? The bacon is too greasy for me to chop myself so again I come back to the counter to ask them to chop it up. They are severely understaffed and the staff they do have spend too much time socializing and not working. It's too expensive to get incomplete orders. I love their salads and soups and when I come I usually get the salad soup combo for lunch. I got the southwest lime chicken salad and the southwest corn chowder. The salad was already soggy when I got it so it must have been sitting for a while. The greens were so wilted so I know it was old. It's a very pretty salad with tri color quinoa and chicken with tortilla strips but the greens were not too good. The southwest corn chowder was just okay. I tasted more of the cilantro than corn and it was not good not bad. I ate it because I like corn but overall I'll never order that soup and salad combo for sure. I had a minor issue. I called the store and Tyrone answers who happened to be the manager. He told me to come in and he'd take care of it. When I came inside he calmly listened to my concerns. He did what was in his power to make things right. That meant a lot. He wasn't overly apologetic or anything like that. He was sincere and he promptly took the reigns on the situation like a manager or quality associate should. Honestly, I wasn't having a great night and Panera bread happens to be one of my favorite spots that I haven't been to in a while.
