The service was very friendly. That is lacking these days and I appreciate it. Will come back. I had changed it to my order and they completed them all. My order was 100% correct. read more

Food was so good. I had the Chicken Alfredo pasta. There was a little hiccup getting our food but the manager took care of it and we were all good. read more

I genuinely love Jason's Deli it's one of my favorite places to eat, which is why I was hesitant to leave a negative review. However, I visited on Sunday and was disappointed by what I saw. There seemed to be very little teamwork among the staff. The young lady who was running food was also trying to refill the salad bar for customers, yet employees kept yelling, "Runner! Runner! Runner!" instead of stepping in to help her. Several team members appeared to have nothing to do, but no one offered assistance. Because she was being pulled in so many directions, the food sat longer than it should have and ended up getting cold. It was frustrating to watch because the situation could have easily been avoided if everyone had worked together. I hope management encourages more teamwork. When one employee is overwhelmed and others are available, helping each other out would create a much better experience for both the staff and the customers. read more

Our son loves Jason's Deli, so we're back again! This time we were pleasantly surprised! We ordered online & picked the food up to carry home. The manager greeted us as we entered, the order was ready at the time promised, and the order was correct! He even asked to make sure it was correct! The food was hot and delicious! Much improved since our last visit! read more

Fast service and mufallata sandwich was good ... bbq baked potato wasn't as good as hoped. More meat and less sauce would help.

Look at this crap ("suppose to be" blue corn chips and guacmole) that they sent from the Cedar Hill Jason's Deli on 12/01/25 via UberEats!!! Called the store to speak to the manager and placed on hold for 5 minutes, but he was too much of a coward to answer. Will send this to corporate! read more

Jason's Deli - Delis Near Me - Cedar Hill, Texas

The food was not ready when I arrived which is an issue. The food was hot however since it was fresh. The cashier was friendly enough however when I asked about getting some cornbread muffins to go with my bowl of gumbo... I was charged $3.00 for muffins. I also asked for the soft serve ice cream to go since I was picking up my order and was charged for that as well, $1.83. I don't like being charged for everything I need to have a complete eating experience. My two Coca-Colas were missing from my order so I had to bring up they were missing as I looked in the frontal cooler and didn't see them and was told by the cashier they have the Coke cans in the back cooler away from the guest packaged drink area. Instead of getting my drink immediately as asked the cashier went in my bag and pulled my receipt to get proof of my order- how rude! This Cedar Hill location is operating differently from other locations I have been to. I didn't take a photo, however the food service line area needed a serious wipe down and the floors in the service area a serious mop up. The restaurant was quiet with a few parties dining. read more

We ordered from a different location for delivery and it was pretty good so decided to try this one out in person. The location itself is honestly disgusting. Half the tables were dirty and not cleared. The salad bar was filthy, everything was generally not cleaned or picked up. The food also took quite a while to come out. That being said the food itself was good. I had the club and it was a decent size and tasty. Also had the chicken soup which was good, but on the ticker side, honestly almost tastes like canned soup, but I liked it. Overall it's ok. read more

We've been going back for a couple of years. Not impressed with personnel at the registers, but, once you get past them and your order is correct, things are better and smoother. Food is better than average. Sandwiches have plenty of content. For a while, tables were filthy even after being "cleaned". We carry alcohol wipes and that helps. read more

Food was eh. But i could have walked to canada before i got it. Same ole jasons deli. Sticky tables but good healthy options.

Food is always fresh and delicious. Managers Special is a great deal with a variety of options. Salad bar has many great food items. Service is quick and the employees are courteous and friendly. read more

Food is fine, customer service is horrible, tried to oder pick up on phone 5 minutes and I called back. Then they hung up on me. I don't know if it was close to closing or what. But I did complain. Not my favorite as of now. read more

Update! Spoke to John, manager, and he offered to make it right! Amazing customer service!!! Thank you so much!! Absolutely unacceptable price for the portion you get with in my case the "chicken" tortilla soup. Chicken is in quotations due to I had no chicken in mine. They charge about $8 for a bowl that is about 3oz maybe 3 1/2. I asked for blue chips to be on the side and I got a tiny plastic container with about 4 chips. Now, I have previously ordered this before at this Cedar Hill location but portion although still too small for the price at least container was full to the top and I received a larger plastic container with about 8 chips. I don't understand why it was different this time. I think I received the cup size instead of the bowl size for all 3 soups. I feel I should receive a refund of at least half what I paid which was about $24. I shouldn't have wasted my money but I'm sick and can't do much physically anymore so I thought I could at least not fix one meal that wasn't Ramen or cereal. Date was 3/8/26 @ about 930p. read more

Just cannot say enough about this deli. The food is outstanding and they bring excellent customer service. You never see anyone sitting around they are always working and very polite, even greet you when you walk in Never disappoints!! read more

I had not been to this one in 5 months, and today, I just realized why I stopped coming. First, I put in an app order, drove up at my designated time, received my Welcome text and sat there for 10 minutes with zero acknowledgement. That's the third time that's happened. That's a problem and we can't keep using COVID as an excuse. Do better! Don't implement bells and whistles and not use them adequately!! I went into the building and they were busy. I overlooked that a bit because it was lunch time. The manager did let me know that he would be right with me. No problem there. But, another employee came up to the register and saw me and another lady standing there and turned around and walked off. I don't care how busy that you get, acknowledge your customers (Customer Service 101)!!! Second, the lady who walked off came back to the register. We were both still standing there and a third person walked in. Instead of her asking if we had been helped, she goes straight to him and starts helping him. I interrupted and reminded her that myself and the other lady were there before he came in the door. She said something smart but it wasn't worth it to respond. She's already bad at her job. She won't be there long. Third, and THE problem, is that I just spent $34 on two sandwiches and a salad and the portion sizes leave ALOT to be desired. This was the second reason that I stopped coming months ago. Again, let's stop blaming Covid for bad service and food costs. I used to be able to take a large custom-made salad and eat four meals off if it when ordered through the app. This salad is full of greens and contains barely any ingredients that I requested-cheese, bacon bits, Avocado that I paid extra for but didn't get, grape tomatoes (not even on here), olives, beets, cucumbers, broccoli and eggs. It's a side salad at best in a large container. I did not get my pita chips, either. My 1/4 Turkey muffuletta looks awful and I've definitely had better from there. It's the sole reason that I patronize JD to begin with. I can get a salad anywhere. But, now the muffuletta is poorly made so that is the final straw. But my card was charged $34 for this foolishness! They say that 3X is the charm. This was the third time. read more

Food service ambiance selection , Togo, quick, $, locations hours, salads bar, I go about 3 times a month

I ordered 4 baked potatoes. I watched an employee playing in her hair, put her cap back on her head, grab gloves to start making my order. I advised the manager that I didn't want her making my food and told him why. He walked over to her said something and she continued to make my food. The manager's response when I repeated what I asked, was he had another employee HELP her. THE ONLY REASON I DIDN'T LEAVE THAT FOOD THERE AND GET MY $45 back was because it was for someone else. read more

Tonya is awesome! The food is great and service is on point. you have to try the strawberry shortcake

I've always loved going to Jason's Deli ever since I moved to Texas. However, this place has the worse customer service. My husband and I were excited for the corned beef sandwich and salad. First of all, what grossed us out was that they used a home depot bucket to fill up water for the food steamer...without removing the soups. And yes, some water did spilled and splashed onto the soups. The manager, at 9:42 pm, stood there and watched it. Also, we ordered a corn beef and they messed up our order with chicken. We were fine with places messing up our order here and there, but the fact that we told them that we touched the chicken sandwich to make sure they would not give it to anyone else, but instead of taking it to the kitchen, the cashier lady had the audacity to ask the other guy next to us if it was his order. Really? read more

Fun finding - we drive thru after church and decided to compare price at Subway last week thinking it was getting pricey at Jason's. Not only did we get a superior sandwich with chips/guacamole at Jason's, the price was only $1.50 more than Subway for 2 sandwiches and chips. Service is hit and miss at this Jason's but food is consistent and that's more important to us. read more

Wouldn't recommending ordering Togo if you like your orders to consist of EVERYTHING you paid for. Which is pretty much everyone I know. DoorDashed from this location and couldn't check the bag since it was stapled closed. Given that we're still in a pandemic, I don't open orders and check them. It's the merchants job to ensure all items are in the bag. Upon arrival, the customer and I found that they'd forgot an item that she'd paid $15 for. I had to go back up to the restaurant, missed out on a $13 opportunity, and spent an extra 10 minutes arguing with some rude lady at the front who didn't want to take accountability for her teams negligence. Huge inconvenience for my customer and I. You wouldn't be wrong to bust the bag open and check EVERYTHING before you leave the premises. Staff could definitely benefit from a training on customer service. read more

This was my first time at this location. We were in the area to shop and decided to stop by for lunch. The staff was so friendly at this location! Tonja at the front took really good care of us! I contacted Tonya, the manager on duty, today in your Cedar Hill store about an upcoming catering order. She took her time to make sure that I completed the proper paperwork for a 501c3 organization with tax-exempt status. The professionalism and patience that she displayed really let me know that the leadership at Jason's Deli leads with heart. Her thoroughness with my order and suggestions was heartfelt and appreciated. Customers have a choice where to eat a meal. My choice for a good meal, good customer-service, and good vibes, is Jason's Deli. Well done, Manager Tonya and team. The cashier, Jasmine, served me with a smile. Sincerely, Dr. Banks read more

Food was ok, salad bar was fresh, but no muffins and the few that were left were stale. Got an order of penne and meatballs 20 mins after ordering only bc I stood at the counter for at least 5 mins being completely ignored. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant. The bread was stale and not warm. I refused the broccoli cheese soup as it looked lumpy, perhaps it was not heated all the way through? She tried to mix what was left at the bottom of one pan (burned) with a brand new pan of soup (for a cup) and the result did not look appetizing. I was offered to select a different soup, and had it been any other day, I gladly would've accepted the offer, but declined as my family is observing Lent and there were no other meatless options (chicken noodle or chili). I went against my better judgment to stay and eat because my daughter loves Jason's deli, but about 75% of the tables had dirty dishes, and we had to bus and wipe down our own table. Worst experience yet. read more

Caucasian People,Caucasian People!!! I Love yall to Hell & Back but why is it that yall be messing up Basic Food items by adding Fruit & Nuts to Everything? I had a Dam Chicken Salad sandwich from Jason's Deli that tasted more like A Pineapple Salad Sandwich. The amount of Pineapples that was packed in that dam Sandwich was ReeGodDamDiculous!!! I tasted more fruit than Chicken. Now I love Convenient Places that can offer me a Box Lunch all in one especially when I can get a free Ice Cream Cone but Caucasian People, Caucasian People Everything simply doesn't need a touch of Fruit. Lmao and to my Caucasian Readers please don't be offended by what I say because I'm silly and talk alot of shit lol... And I still Like Jason's Deli lol read more

I like to eat at this establishment however rather surprised that with all the various infectious illnesses that is spread that they have not adopted a mandatory mask for people who work with preparing food. Ordered lunch to go (Nov 25) and I had a good experience. I ordered the "light" portion of the Chicken Club Salad w/Ranch Dressing add red onions with the cheese on the side + a bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup. Everything came as I ordered it except a few more grape tomatoes could've been added as they only gave me two. When I arrived the food was ready and customer service was great despite the drive-thru being very busy. I will definitely come back to this location! read more

Visited the store for the first time decided to go in and sit down to enjoy well it's a very busy place service is ok but the place needed to be tidy up someone had a bag of chips resting on top of the strawberries behind the main area and I ordered a strawberry shortcake and I was thinking are the berries that they will use coming from that container. Floor needed to be swept not to impressed so I ordered a bake potato with all the fixings and strawberry shortcake the potato was good but the cake was not all that. Decided to swing by to pick up some soup for dinner and a salad for lunch. I order both through the drive thru along with a cup of water. Once I was handed my bag I told her you forgot my water. When she handed me the water I said thank you , she said nothing, so I said it louder and she said you're welcome loud and slammed the window. We've been to this place at least 5 times and this was the last. Horrid horrid service. It took 20 minutes to bag my order. Not to cook or make the order, to put it in a freaking bag. It was ridiculous. Asked the cashier, asked the manager. Asked another manager and then I got really mad. The order was complete right away. What really made me mad was I tried to call in the order at least 4 times and was hung up on every time. While I was waiting I talked to another guy who had the same issue. It was insane. The guys making sandwiches we're standing around talking so I really do t know why they couldn't put the order in the bag. I will never go back there! read more
