The customer service is horrible. Not management. Not the greeters. The cashiers seem miserable as if they don't want to work. I was making a return on an item with a receipt and the cashier presented various roadblocks and had me waiting off to the side for an additional 12 minutes. The manager came assessed the concern and within 10 seconds it was handled. The manager indicated the cashier, Ms. Quecy, didn't say anything that I shared she assumed I didn't have a receipt. In the same visit the same cashier, Ms. Quecy, dismissed another customer putting it off on management. Another customer was in the check out line and the cashier left as she approached the cash register. The customer has four items. The cashier made no effort to explain anything she just left. The customer reported the incident to management and cashier was radioed to join the conversation only to say she had to go to the restroom and she didn't need the customer's permission. Although correct, at least acknowledge her... Say something. Don't just walk off. read more

I didn't bother to check the date on the yogurt- it was FOUR MONTHS past the date!! I did return that- not a word of apology, or even acknowledgement. Nada. And we exchanged for a different brand, that, you know- wasn't 4 months outdated, and it was 10 cents less. The refused to put that dime back on our debit card or give it back in cash. This is one of those days with aches, sore chest and just feeling overall horrible. On 12/21/2024, I drove to the Walmart Center in Cedar Hill Texas. This was ocassion of shopping and chatting with other shoppers. I chose the self check out lane thinking it would be faster. I attempted to open the bags to place my item isside. The bags were very difficult to open. I saw a lady dresed in a Pittsburg Steelers jacket with a Pittsburg Knit Cap. I asked her Ma'am, Could you help me. She walked over and I told her that the bags were difficult to open. She responded, "That is NOT MY PROBLEM." I asked, Do you work here, She responded Yes. I said, All I am doing is asking you for some help, I am not feeling the best, I just need to get back home. She opened one bag and walked away. This is highly unlikely that this lady who was identified at Tonya works for Walmart. She did not have a smock on and I did not see a name tag. Another associate waked over and opened several bags. I told her I should have went through full service. She responded that the cashiers have problems opening the bags also. I saw another manager speaking with Tonya and they were looking in my direction. I approached and started to speak with the manager when she said, "Didn't you Call her Deivl Horns?" This is totally rediculouis. Be mindful when visiting the evening shift at the Walmart in Cedar Hill. I started to deny saying Devil Horns but I had to consider the calibur of associates at this store. Shame on Them! Auto department very rude, disrespectful of time. Department opens at 8. I got there at 7 was number one in line oil change and new tires took 3 hours. Bay workers horrible and slow thought it should be my fault because they can't hold employees accountable for their attendance at work!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This Walmart is conveniently located for me so I visit it frequently. The store is always clean and organized. I usually do not wait long to check out. I used to ask associates where things were that I couldn't find but typically did not get the assistance that I needed. Once I discovered The Walmart App, it is extremely helpful and I use it to find the exact isle of the things that I need. There is an abundance of parking. I will naturally return due to the plethora of variety in items offered. The room for improvement, in my opinion, in in the customer service arena. The staff should be more willing to follow through on ensuring that customers find what they need. read more

Walmart Management-Upland Location in Cedar Hill, Texas 75104 I was in this store yesterday in January 7,2022. None of your Handicap Motorized Vehicles for the disabled were in working condition. You have a line of at least 10 that I saw that had "not working " on them. I also asked several of your staff members if your store had any more working motorized vehicles and they replied that they didn't know. I am disabled and had a very difficult time doing my grocery shopping in your store without the assistance of a motorized vehicle for the disabled. Thank goodness for a employee named Curtis who assisted me with my groceries in bagging and loading my vehicle. In the last open line, the nice young man was trying to check out all the waiting customers as told to shut it down because they needed all the tills in. They messed my car up and gave me the complete run around. Was out in 30 degree weather with my family (includes a three year old) on the side of the road trying to fix THEIR NEGLIGENCE. Hate it here. Keevon, keyvon and javon can KMA. The manager Kim is never available for the promise that Keyvon made. They said they would communicate with my dealership to fix the situation, free of charge. Nothing ever got fixed but they keep working on vehicles. That's a no go and a safety hazard. When I came to bring my car for them to "fix it again" No paperwork was ever done and I was told to put my KEY on TOP of my car prior to the "fix". Very ILLEGAL at this location. I think someone should investigate this location like the one on Wheatland. Investigators look into this because this is alarming. No one cares about the welfare of the customers. read more

I hate this Walmart. This is the line tonight at 11pm. First of all the product I was looking for was scanned to the store but just thrown on the very top shelf, not broken down. I just happen to wonder if it was what I was looking for and opened the package/box. The line was from self checkout to lane 9!!!! Hot mess!!! A cashier came out more than 30 mins after me standing in line and announced two additional lanes were opening. The people just entering the line moved forward , rapidly, cutting the line into the newly opened cashier lines. There is never any structure or organization at this store. read more

I mean, it's Walmart. I have never had an exceptional experience at ANY Walmart. That being said, most of the employees are friendly and are willingly helpful when you seek assistance. The greeters at the door speak to you. In the past week, I have been to a Grand Prairie and Lancaster Walmart and I surely missed this one. No one greeted me and the customer service left much to be desired. The only thing that I would say is pretty bad here is that there are many times that you come in & there are no carts. They state that there are some at the other entrance. You shouldn't have to go to the other entrance for a cart. I would also like for them to have more hand carts for the grocery side. Also, other Walmarts that I have been to have signs at the registers letting you know who the manager is & give a number to contact them. They may be at the registers and just not at self-checkout, which I use 99% of the time. read more

Purchased in August 2020 from WalMart a new Canon Pixma color printer on sale off an end display in store for about $39.00. It came with PG-243 black and CL-244 color ink. It will also use PG-245 XL and CL-246 XL ink substitutes. I used up initial ink in two weeks and to date 10-23-2020 (3 mos.) the store does not have any ink for this product for sale. I checked "Google" internet and looked at 8 different stores. Not one had any ink. I visited the store again yesterday and still no ink, even when they had the same printer on an end display on sale again. The employee said - "no ink and not sure if on order". I had a reasonable expectation that the product I purchased would be as advertised, as stated or implied, even functional, not obsolete, etc. After purchase, with no ink, it's useless. Went to Walmart looking for gardening gloves. There was a female clerk in the garden shop leaning against the wall. I asked her I could find gardening gloves and she told me to check the area in the Men's Dept. Hmmm, so I checked the Men's area. There, I asked a clerk for assistance. She typed something into a small iPad and told me they didn't sell gardening gloves, but they had paint gloves in the paint section. This is crazy, I thought to myself! I know I had purchased gardening gloves at this store so I went back to the gardening dept. and went aisle by aisle until I found a "wall display" of gloves!!! I selected a pair of gloves and headed to the checkout counter. The clerk that I asked for help was still leaning against the wall! This is ridiculous!!! What happened to customer service? I spent 15 minutes looking for an item that was 3 aisles away from the clerk! Come on Walmart you can do better than this!
