Waited an hour for my food, watched like 10 people yell over the counter to the two employees working all the orders, and after everyone left, they still managed to mess up my order. So why 4 stars? Cause those kids thugged it out. They took the banter of grown people yelling at them over nothing they can control. All their staff quit and they remained. So what I hope is that Firehouse Sub compensate these kids. Out of them two none were managers either. For the love of god do something for your employees, find some actual leadership. I really hate to leave 1 Stars, but the service I received was beyond unacceptable. I placed my order at 7:18 PM for a small sub, fries, and a drink. There was already a line ahead of me, while a flow of traffic continued to come in. When I placed my order, only two people were working -- a young lady taking the orders and a young man making the food. The young lady seemed annoyed that they were short-staffed (as she should be), and she continued to refer to someone else being in the restroom. She eventually reached her breaking point and went to the restroom, knocking on the door before telling the third employee he needed to come out and help. 10 minutes have passed, and I am still waiting for my food, and the third employee has not come out of the restroom yet. 5 more minutes go by, and he finally comes out. He goes to the sink to wash his hands for at most 10 seconds, and then hops immediately onto the food. If I hadn't been waiting so long and already paid, I would have left immediately. 10 MORE minutes passed, and I am still waiting for my food. At 7:52 PM, my name was finally called to get my food. When I got to my destination, I realized my food was not prepared well, and I could not even stomach it. The sandwich was soggy and cold, the fries were hard, and after watching what I saw as my food was prepared, I just no longer had the appetite. And to make everything worse, the restaurant was filthy. There was trash all over the floor and tables, the soda machine looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks, there was salt spilled all over the drink tops, there were dirty rags under the sink in the food area, AND the machine where they cooked the fries looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. I normally do not leave reviews after a bad service...but was unacceptable. I couldn't even get pictures because I was so disturbed by what I was seeing. Very unfriendly location. We placed an online order and when we went in to pick it up, not a single person greeted us are assisted us for almost 15 minutes. We were about 10 min early but wanted to add a drink and got no service. The 2 guys working there looked right at us and kept talking and throwing around paper balls. Tried to use my free birthday sub, but was told it expired. My problem with that is my birthday happened to fall during a snow and ice storm, and was unable to leave my home. Then, I received an email on 2/5 stating I had seven days to use my birthday sub. However, the employees wouldn't honor it due the manager would fire them. Food was very mid .. My fiancee and I tried this place for the first time yesterday and let's just say our experience wasn't the best. Granted this was our first time so we needed to look at the menu for a bit .. that's cool. But two other people were in line waiting for who knows how long because they were already there when we walked in. We looked at the menu 10 -15 mins .. in the 10- 15 mins we took to look at the menu none of the employees even said "hey we're sorry we're working on something and we'll be with you ---" so the people in front of us walked out. After they walked out , what looked to be the person who's worked there the longest just looks up shrugs his shoulders and continues making sandwiches for another 10 mins not acknowledging my fiancee or myself. We really had patience yesterday because we were excited to try it but after waiting nearly 25mins to get our order taken & then another 10-15 to make our "4 bite sandwiches" (that's how he referred to the size we got ) we will NOT be visiting this location again. Our experience was not it. First, while we were waiting in line (15min) two people that were in front of us walked out (it took WAY too long). This was our first time at Firehouse and honestly I can't say we'll ever go back. We ordered a, "Thanksgiving Sub" and a "Turkey Bacon Ranch". This place is HORRID! If there were more area options they would be closed. The dingy, disheveled, and rude employees are worthless. The food is mediocre from this location and they have made no improvements since my last time here. I ordered three Hook and Ladder salads with some add ons. I was told that they were out of bell peppers only. I received three bowls of lettuce with meat, olives, banana peppers, and cheese. I was in a hurry, but I noticed that I ordered jalapeños, but I didn't see any on my order. The young Hispanic guy got an attitude with me because I asked about it. He proceeded to take a large bowl and fill it with a large amount of jalapeños. He looks at me, then says, "You asked for jalapeños". I left the store because I had to pick up my son, but I returned about 20 minutes later so they could fix the mess they gave me. The same Hispanic guy that waited on me was standing at the register once I returned. As I walked to the counter, he says, " I guess something else is wrong." I said, "Yes, I am missing tomatoes and cucumbers. " He says, "we don't have any, and whoever took your order should have told you that." Once I told him that the person that took my order already told me that they had everything except bell peppers; he then says, "we have them but they are not cut so I didn't put them on your salad". Mind you, I sat there for 15 minutes waiting for him to fix my three salads, and he never said anything to me. My husband then asked to speak to an adult and a manager because they were clearly kids and didn't understand. The young Hispanic guy became very irrate and tried to "buck up" to my 6'1, 235lb, Retired Veteran husband, saying he is not a child, why does he need to speak to an adult, and he is seventeen. We told him that he was not an adult or a manager, so he needed to be quiet. The other young guys behind the counter had to push him to the back of the store because he wanted to fight my husband. Once the manager came to the front and everything was explained; he had one of the other guys put some tomatoes in a bowl for us. We didn't get the cucumbers because the guy was still acting out trying to fight with my husband, even after the manager told him to calm down. We eventually just left the store, but I will never return. I have never been so disrespected by a child, and I am a mother of a teen, and I teach school. There are too many children in that store and no real adult supervision. I will say that some of the other young guys were very respectful to us and were trying to apologize. But I will never return! And as their name alludes to, sandwiches are served warm with a selection of over 20 hot sauces. I've visited locations in other states so I'm happy to see one close to home! My problem with this location is that they are comically slow. I've been there on several occasions and have averaged about a 5 -10 minute wait for my sandwich. On my most recent visit, I was the only person there and STILL had a substantial wait. I ordered, looked at the chip selection, took my toddler to the restroom and when I returned to the counter they had not even started on my sandwich.
