I am new to the area and I needed a new battery for my car. My grandson works at this location; so I chose to go to this location. I'm so glad that I did. I had an awesome experience from beginning to end. I was greeted by Brooklyn with a kind smile and welcome and given some direction as to where I needed to go. I was then kindly greeted by Mannie, Mgr and was connected with Norman; who took it from there and made sure that my needs were taken care of. I was in and out in very little time. Each one of the above individuals mentioned, was very customer focused; kind and went over and above and made me feel like such a part of the Walmart family. Wow. I don't understand all the hate on this Walmart! Have these people never been to Walmart? This location is nice. The parking lot is huge. I drive here from Mansfield because it's so much nicer, bigger, cleaner, and friendly. I've almost always been able to find what I needed. When no one had Christmas PJs, I found them here. When no one had any nice Christmas trees left, they had a nice selection with several options. Granted, I haven't used curbside pickup here. As far as pricing goes, it's like any other Walmart. Always liked this location, even when we lived in the Waxahachie. It's usually much cleaner than others, especially that run down dinosaur up the Hwy 287. Outside is nice with the larger trees offering shade. Inside is always clean. Staff doesn't really engage us when we come, so I really can't comment about that, other than that they don't go out of their way to help with anything. read more

My wife had 2 orders for me to pick up. I got to the store at 730. I scanned and got my first order from the automated kiosk tower. I scanned my second order and waited about 15 minutes. I scanned in again and pushed the "help" button. I then asked the lady working the front door, who was very nice, if they were bringing my order. She got on the radio and was told it was working. After another 15 minutes I called the store from inside and asked for a manager. I was put on hold. After 7 minutes I hung up. I asked one of the checkers if he could call the manager. He said he had no way of doing so and directed me to the customer service area. I walked to customer service. It was dark and there were no employees working. I asked a different cashier if he could contact the manager. Same question, same answer. He didn't know how to contact the manager. I then tried again to call from inside store, twice. It rang for several minutes and no one answered. After waiting a total of 55 minutes, I told the lady at the front door to cancel the order and I was leaving. At this point a shift supervisor named Jodi happened to walk up. I explained to her in my best non Karen-like demeanor, that I had been waiting for almost an hour for my pick up. She was nice and apologetic, but I had to work early in the morning and had to cancel the 2nd order and get home. She said that she'll follow up with the me and the GM and will contact me with a resolution. I left without my 2nd order. I'll drive an extra 10 minutes to Target from now on. read more

This is by far the nicest and cleanest Wal-mart compared to surrounding cities. I go to Walmart a year 2-3 times a week! They are always smiling and asking if you need help. They are now carrying more and more Keto/low carb items. From zero noodles to swerve and mct oil. I was very excited to see all the no sugar added items as well from sugar free syrups and condiments. This wal Mart is starting to listen to its customers. Also another convenience factor is there is a fed ex as well which opens at 10am and now a Claire's! They have a good variety of international foods as well. Their scan and go is so easy as well. It's so nice being able to walk through aisles no boxes in the way. read more

This store is a rip-off. I picked out four items: 2 cases beer, 18 eggs and 1/2 gallon milk. The beer rang up 20.98 supposed to be 18.98. The eggs rang up 6.40 supposed to be 5.58. Woohoo the milk was right. I spoke to someone who said the item prices were right. So I said keep them. They charge you more than the prices shown on the shelf. Customer service area needs a lot of work as well as the management. Stopped by for a window ax unit due to this heat and I'm assuming they just throw return back onto the shelf's without even checking them. We got home to find out it had a strong cigarette smell that made our whole kitchen smell. Went to take it back and let me just say I knew I had an attitude coming as soon as I saw how the customer before me was attended. I was completely right, found it odd how most Walmarts give back a return receipt when processing your returns but for some reason this manager did not. read more

Wow what can I say about Walmart that one does not already know?!? This is our local Midlothian Walmart! I just love it. It is very clean and organized. I have not ever seen anything disheveled. I especially love to hit the clearance racks first. Our trip here consisted of looking for automotive items and to grab some groceries for the week. Of course I did get a chance to look around at some areas I don't normally frequent. Normally when I come here I get what I need and get out as I'm normally in a rush. They have gadgets and gizmos a plenty. Everything from A-Z. It's rare I stop by and the shelves aren't fully restocked. As this is a super Walmart they do offer a good variety of meats, food, deli stuff. Walmarts have a reputation and plenty of memes about having one 1-2 cash registers open. Haha. This one has plenty of registers open and self checkout registers. You can also buy a gift card and when you use it at their gas pumps you can get a 3 cent discount on the gas. Neat-O. When I was at the store today two elderly ladies complained of being overcharged. Another said it had happened to her multiple times. When doing my return the CSM & the front-end manager tried to make it as difficult as they could. It's not like I was trying to get something for free I was simply trying to do an even exchange for a product that did not work. I would never go back to the store. If you just have to go to Walmart try Waxahachie. But I would avoid Walmart all together from this point forward. Many things you want from Walmart can be found on Amazon much cheaper. I have complained about two workers that are assigned to the lawn and garden area and nothing has been done. Clyde and Forrest are selective as to who they ask for receipts as you exit the store. It does not matter if everything is bagged or if you have a cheap unbagged item you will be stopped if you are a black male. I refused to show my receipt to Clyde on 9/1/2018 and he called my a "lying ass". I requested for a manager to meet me in the lawn and garden area to advise them of what occurred and I am sure nothing was done. Ok, having had a bad site to store experience at another Walmart, I decided to give it another try at the Midlothian location. It was great. The pick up counter is at the back of the store near the electronics section, near the restrooms (to ensure you pass everything else for sale in the store on the way). I walked up, gave them my order number, and my fairly large order (it required a flat bed cart) was at my side just a few short minutes later. Great experience. I will use this Walmart for my future site to store orders. It is a very clean store as well. The only negative I experienced was when purchasing the items that made their way into my cart on the way back from my order pick-up. Why have a 10-item limit if you allow people with full carts to check out in the lane?? I think I found a new pet peeve. read more

I had placed an order for curbside on a Saturday with the intention of picking it up between 4-5 PM that afternoon. Meanwhile my husband had to make a trip to the Emergency Room. It was too late to change my pick-up time on-line, so I tried calling the store. I literally called 10 times. I was answered once. That person supposedly paged Curbside after I told her they wouldn't answer. Needless to say, they still didn't answer. On all subsequent calls, I was disconnected. I couldn't believe that any retail operation could be so poor! Although it's up to the employees to carry out good customer service, a company can only be as good as its leadership. I will never shop at this Walmart again, and I have NOTHING good to say about it or its employees. The Customer Service was an absolute joke. I understand that prices are good at Walmart and they provide a wide array of products, but I've come to the conclusion that none of that is worth it on any level. I ended up cancelling the curbside order on-line. My review of Midlothian's "finest" is done. I've got to make a run to Target now to pick up my groceries. read more

The produce department is the absolute worse. 2 Hispanic women, one a worker, and the other supposed to be a cleaning lady. I just had the worst experience at the Midlothian Walmart. I just self checked my groceries, brought my own bags. Over $100 and 4 full bags, put in my credit card and it froze up. The young associate could not get it to work, so she called for help. The 2 older associates reset it and told me I needed to re-scan, I asked if I could just pay the total- NOPE! I proceeded to recheck my grocery- ZERO OFFER FOR ANY HELP AND ZERO APOLOGY ---- but they were good chatting with each other as they walked away. If I had not needed that stuff-- I would have dumped the food on the counter and walked out!!!! read more

I had a warranty claim on a fairly large ticket item. The manufacturers warranty had lapsed but luckily my wife had purchased an extended plan. I called the corporate claims department and started the claim. After a week with with no action I headed to the store itself. Hoping for the best yet expecting the worst, I spoke to the store manager Mr. Boze and I believe the Ast. manager Tori. (Sorry Tori. I missed your last name) I explained my situation to both and requested their assistance in dealing with the repair company. They were both very attentive and understanding. In less time than it took me to explain my dilemma, they took control and solved my problem. Two notable remarks made were "Time is money." & "You bought this item from our store and it's our job to stand behind it." OUTSTANDING service! Thanks guys! read more

I normally have no problems with the Midlothian store and find most of the employees very helpful and pleasant.

PRICE MATCH at this store is a JOKE. Avoid this store!! Went to store with some items for Price Match. They refused to price match produce from another store unless it was 10 miles from that store. Ever refused to price match a Name Brand, Wesson Oil, that was same size because the store that was cheaper was more than 10 miles away. No where in their policy statement does it say they only match stores in a 10 mile radius. This was a Store management decision and not their corp. stated policy that is online. I will NEVER shop this crooked store again. Mangers were no help and refused to look at online policy I pulled up on my phone. Needless to say I left everything in the cart and walked out without buying anything. read more

We live in Mansfield, but prefer going to this Walmart rather than the one in Mansfield. My experiences in the Midlothian store have been overall very positive. The employees are much more helpful than the Mansfield store and we've had some great assistance in the garden department numerous times. read more

It's a Walmart- don't expect a Neiman Marcus level of service or cleanliness of the facility. Bathrooms can be gross and smelly (every Walmart has this issue) and the lines can get crazy long and they don't open extra lanes to ease the traffic. To borrow from their retail competition's slogan, at Walmart you should "Expect LESS, Pay Less." read more
