Buffet because honestly, I was blown away. This place is seriously the king of buffets, no exaggeration. ​Usually, when you go to a buffet, you expect a few hits and a lot of misses, but here, it was the opposite--we literally loved everything. The variety is insane; they have all the classic Chinese dishes that are actually fresh and hot, which is a huge deal. But then you look over and they have an entire awesome sushi bar where the rolls are constantly being made and look fantastic. And don't even get me started on the seafood section. It was all top-notch and seemed to be the real deal. ​I also really appreciate the made-to-order station, like the hibachi grill. Being able to grab fresh veggies and protein and have them cook it up right there is such a nice touch and a great break from the hot line. ​Beyond the food, the service was fantastic. Our plates were cleared super fast, and our drinks were refilled before we even had to ask. Decent buffet! I'm definitely a "bargain" customer when it comes to "all you can eat" offerings since I don't typically eat very large meals.... However, I built up an appetite and conquered twoish plates of food. Quite tasty! Before this visit, I hadn't visited an Asian Buffet since my time working in Palo Alto, CA and this place definitely beat it. As a matter of fact, Asian King tops my list of all-time best offerings! Decent Chinese buffet in a small town in TX. My rating is based on Chinese buffet and its service. It has a variety of Chinese food, Mongolian grill, sushi, salad, fresh fruit, and desserts. Weekend dinner is $17.49 per person, drinks are charged separately. What I typically get at a Chinese buffet is good. Crawfish is surely frozen crawfish - it's OK for what it is. Fried crab is my favorite - it's well fried but not greasy or heavy in batter and you can chew the shell. Lo mein is flavorful, rice vermicelli is bland. Sesame chicken and pepper chicken are good to go with the vermicelli or lo mein. Veggies are pretty standard for Chinese buffet. Egg drop soup tastes quite eggy - I've had better egg drop soup at another Chinese buffet. They also have a big station for build-your-own Mongolian grilled bowl where you pick your own raw meat, veggies, sauces, and noodles and they will cook everything for you. I don't recommend eating sushi here as the raw fish does not look fresh at all, and the sushi rice also looks mushy. Desserts include fruit, pudding, soft serve and a chocolate fountain but I didn't care to have any of those. At $17.49 per person for weekend dinner, it's a really good price considering how expensive everything is out there these days and it's also worth it based on what they have. Lots of options here at a Chinese buffet that ended up being an early dinner for me. Clean, well stocked and friendly service. One of the better buffets I have been to. Very nice sushi display. Great to see eel which is unusual and the nigiri with salmon and tuna and shrimp. I was able to put together a couple plates and avoid the overly fried and the overly sauced options. Maaaaannnnn, I had such high hopes for this place but... I can't recommend it. Went on Saturday night at 6 o'clock. It wasn't too crowded. The staff wasn't necessarily rude but they were cold. It wasn't a very inviting vibe. They had crab legs and head on shrimp. They were all way over cooked not seasoned right, not tasty at all. I had the broccoli chicken which was OK but Ton's Palace in De Soto is way better. The egg rolls were better than the spring rolls that were meh at best, The sushi was meh. I got a Mongolian bowl that was less than sus af. Basically $15 per person for a buffet it just seemed too expensive (inflation is a thing but still). They have a fairly friendly staff. As vegetarians we did not try the full buffet but what we did try was over salted (or perhaps monosodium glutamate). Fried zucchini was mushy, two kinds of fried potatoes were dried out and so salty I couldn't finish eating them. Sautéed mushrooms were undercooked and flavorless. The fried rice, again flavorless, and under cooked with canned diced vegetables. The senior luncheon special, good until 3:30 PM, was a nice discount. They have good, fresh fruit (all fresh except the canned peaches). The desert bar was about average but the flan was above average. This might be a different experience for meat eaters. read more

This happen to me about a year ago, I had recently moved to Waxahachie long story short as soon we were seated there was about 4 cockroaches climbing up the wall. I let my waiter know but all she wanted me to do was to switch seats l also let the manager know and all he did was kill the cockroaches with a napkin. Walked out.... I have been here quite a few times, always good food! Staff is a bit impatient and throws the cups, plates, ect into the sink making rather a lot of noise and even coughing on all of the just cleaned cups without even covering their mouth, they also decide to mop during the business hours so sometimes the floor may be wet in places and i have fallen down atleast twice on the black mat in front of the dish washing area with it just sliding right out from under me, presumably from the water on the floor... Both times however the staff didn't even seem to really care, many of them seeing it happen. The one who was waiting on our section this time actually asked if i was okay and when i said yes she went back to work rather trying to get the manager, who was actually sitting right next to our table as a customer with one of the other staff members and didn't bother to even take a statement on what happened or if i really was okay or if i were going to sue ect, it's the next day and my side kind of hurts and my knees are swollen and tender, i am a very big guy so i was very lucky to not be seriously hurt by either of these falls.
