I'm in town for one of those somber occasions... Hadn't…read moreeaten all day, the net lead me here... I was seated quickly & my server was there on point to get things kicked off. Miami Vice 3outta5 It was too sour heavy Hushpuppies 5outta5 Simply put, some of the best. In my humble opinion, a good Hushpuppy stands on its on. There's no sauce needed. These were those. Oysters 4.8outta5 Aside from having to ask for horse radish, my only complaint is the oyster placement. They each were cut in the clear! However, they all were pointed down or angled in a way that caused the oyster liquor to run off. They didn't slide off easily and I missed that additional briny flavor. I don't think a quarter of a lemon is necessary either. That additional weight may have caused the liquor to spill. In any event, I'd love to know their lemon source because they're delicious & huge! Seafood Boil 5outta5 I don't get to come to my home state as often as I used to so I miss out on crawfish season. I got the Pier 7 combo sauce, medium level. I hate I punked out!! If you're into heat, get hot. My Gbaby could eat medium. It was still full of flavor but weak on heat. I wish the corn had been fresher. There was no crispness. The shrimp were plump. Sausage (I'm not limiting meat consumption while in TX) was pretty good. Lobster tail was a touch over but still had a soft chew. Egg/potato=Egg/potato Crawfish were a nice size. I enjoyed every bite. It was early evening, pre-rush hour so I missed the incoming crowd. You can tell it gets lively. I have to give a shout out to Tyler. Tyler went out of his way and made sure I enjoyed the meal, top shelf customer service. I'm in town a few more days and will definitely be going back!

With our group was 9 people and he handled our orders like a champ. Everything came out tasting great and on point except for the scallops. It's not that I didn't like them but they seemed a little too salty for my taste but they weren't terrible and I still ate them. The catfish was good with great flavor but the fillets were really thin so you got more breading than fish it seemed. Tried a piece of their NY style cheesecake and it was really good and the slice was huge. Great value for the price of it. The cost of the meal was a little on the high end but that's to be expected with seafood boils so no real complaints there.Overall it was a good bday feast and I can't complain. The restaurant is pretty good size with plenty of parking. I will for sure be back.

They have completely turned things around, as the food quality and customer service have vastly improved. I ordered the Bayou Bag seafood boil, and everything was hit the spot good. The crab legs and shrimp were both seasoned exceptionally well. The shrimp was noticeably fresh and firm, and the crab legs were packed with flavor. The eggs were cooked just right, the corn on the cob was juicy and tender, and the meal came with delicious red potatoes and sausage. The sauce was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of kick, coming out slightly spicy and exactly how I like it.  Beyond the food, the overall setup was great. There is plenty of parking on site, and the area surrounding the food truck was very clean. They also have a picnic table available if you want to sit down and eat right away. The menu was super clear and easy to read, and the staff were kind and quick with the order.  It is always wonderful to see a local business grow and elevate their quality over time.
