I hate to leave bad reviews but I was pretty disappointed in my experience here. The staff were all teens and one (a hispanic kid with a dr pepper hat) was loudly shouting cuss words over a call in his headphones. I ordered one sandwich and it took 15 minutes which is fine but then all the jalapeños were thrown on one side with none on the other. The staff were also blasting a movie very loudly and the whole place seemed pretty unhygienic. I really love the Firehouse in Waxahachie tho so I recommend just driving there for a sandwich, it's a lot more professional and might even take less time. My main recommendation for the restaurant would be some supervision for these kids. read more

I usually order my food from DoorDash, but today I went in the store. I had a horrible experience. When I went to order my food. There were people who already ordered and we're waiting. I ordered after them. They received their food finished eating before I got mine a guy that came in and ordered behind me. That is food before I did. If I had not stood up and asked where they going to make my sandwich. I would've never received my food. This was very disheartening. Afterwards. I called the manager on duty. His name is Nathan. He is extremely rude. He told me my food was only sitting there for a minute before he handed it to me, and was very smuggle on the phone. He was not helpful. He was nasty. He was not there when I was getting my sandwich made because workers on the line. I am extremely disgusted about how I was treated not only in the store, but on the phone. This is very discouraging, and I will not be giving anymore, and for a manager to speak to a customer like that. He needs to be retraen. Cold food and no one cares. Not the motto of this company or any other location I've visited.

The staff is friendly but needs some additional training on how to make the sandwiches neater. We have had Firehouse across multiple states and this is the messiest. The location is new so a little TLC when it comes to finish products would be a great benefit in the long run. The bread becomes soggy way too fast. The is my very first visit to this new establishment. I decided on a cheddar brisket sandwich. I must say once you get a combo and if going large your in for an expensive experience. I tried this location for my first AND LAST visit to any Firehouse Subs yesterday evening. The lack of any other customers at approx. 7 p.m. on a Friday night should have given me an idea of what to expect. But I went in anyway since I had never tried Firehouse Subs before and was eager to check it out after seeing some commercials on TV. All three "girls" who worked there were sitting in the dining room playing on their phones when I entered. They all three got up and kinda sorta did their jobs when I got in line, although I got the impression that they wished I would just go away and let them get back to social hour the entire time I was there. They DID manage to take my order and put it together, the food was pricy but tasty, and it didn't take particularly long. BUT...I simply COULD NOT BELIEVE how these "girls" comported themselves while a customer was there. It was a squealing, giggling party time. Of course I realize that calling three young women "girls" might seem insulting, but it's the appropriate word for how they acted--like they were elementary or junior high aged girls in the hall at school and not young adults AT WORK. The one who took my order was on her phone most of the time with someone else (who was apparently taking orders at another restaurant's drive thru at the time since part of the discussion was about customers having to honk after having to wait at the speaker too long). All three took part in this call and talking to the person on the other end of the line, and pretty much all at once. It felt like I was at their pajama party rather than at a BUSINESS. If anyone was supposed to be in charge, I can't imagine which of the three it would have been. I may as well have not even been there. They also discussed the places they had submitted applications at other businesses and hoped to get better jobs in front of a customer. I was sure I would never go into another Firehouse Subs location before I even got my order. These three "children" desperately need management. They should not be managing themselves, even if one of them was supposed to be in charge. I seriously doubt this location will be around much longer since I can't see anyone volunteering to come back if they act similarly with other customers. The food is too expensive for people to put up with such poor conduct. read more

This place is definitely one of the best food chains you want to stop by if your seeking a friendly positive environment! Two employees by the name of Meghan and Sam made sure that my experience there was very smooth and easygoing just because I like to be precise on what vegetables, condiments, etc I require on my sandwiches! Both the food and service were great! Also a very clean restaurant! People were very friendly!

As in most cases we wait about 2 week for a new place to get it together. We've been twice and we're happy with the food and service.

Came in for my very first visit at this location in Red Oak and there was a large group of folks waiting on their sandwiches to be made. Thought, well people are at least wanting to eat here so it was a good sign. Finally placed my order with Mr. Friendly and then sat down to wait and there was not a clean table in the house. The folks working there are not friendly as I told the worker thank you as he handed me my order to a reply of "yep". The sandwich was less than average as the veggies were not fresh. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and another try, but not impressed with my first visit. read more

This is my second time coming to this place. Staff is very inattentive and slow. I shouldn't have to wait 16mins for 1 sub when there is only myself and one other order in the store. On top of that, the meatballs were COLD! Definitely probably not going to waste anymore time at this location. Would not recommend read more

This place is awesome! Subs are fast, employees are very diligent on what I wanted, place was clean! Everyone was so friendly. My whole family loves this place so we were super excited they opened.
