The food here is not safe to eat, they are not taking proper precautions on handling the food or maybe cross contaminating, also gave us Mac and cheese in a styrofoam cup that was completely melted on the bottom. Made us extremely sick and running fevers. read more

I have to say my partner and I were running calls all day long and we came down for a post and decided to get food. Laredo taco was closed, and KFC didn't have any chicken and were very rude to us. We decided to throw a Hail Mary and went to chicken express. The manager was about to close the lobby when he asked if we had tried the drive through but we were all ready at the door but as we where headed to got through the drive through he said hey yall come in and took our order. Their app is severely broken!!! Second time I've ordered food from the app and they've charged my card 80.00 confirmed the order then immediately cancelled and waiting on a refund in three days. So glad to know my 80.00 is in limbo while my son is on his way to get food from the cancelled order. Can't even leave zero stars. This store has gone downhill. Horrible. Food was nasty and the restaurant was nasty. One of the young kids brought me my food, had a black curly on the lid of the tators, I gave it back and watched him, he put it back under the heat lamp and handed me another. I was done after that. read more

Disappointed... Too salty, too greasy even for fried chicken (and this is a chicken place). Rolls were hard and tough. The mac and cheese had no flavor (kraft mac n cheese from a box is better than this). I tried adding black pepper but to no avail. Got food here tonight. The chicken was cold and had zero flavor. The fries were stale and soaked in grease. The rolls were rock solid. Our order was completely wrong. This has always been a great stop for a quick and cheap meal with good flavor. The staff is made up of mostly young people, but I am really impressed with their customer service and promptness. The sweet tea is a bit much for me, so my choice is the unsweet tea. This restaurant chain definitely sells the tea by the gallons, and on a hot Texas day, it will hit the spot and sometimes gives you a big sugar rush. read more

(Did you know the rolls are only 110 calories each? -- But don't count calories if you're having chicken tenders, gravy & fries too, because then you will just feel sad, haha.) A great alternative to CFA. The people here are nearly as friendly and down to earth. They keep the place fairly clean as well. Accommodating to your odd requests. Recommend the snack packs with the chicken breasts. read more

Check your order before you leave. The last 5 visits my order was completely wrong. I got cold tough fish in my fish basket and requested a roll instead of hush puppies. When you order and pay for an extremely roll they leave it out most of the time. read more

Undoubtedly the best chicken fingers around and I could drink the gravy. I do love their Livers and I may have to wait a minute for them to make them fresh and they are worth the wait - One of my favs is the Jalapeno poppers and their over the top best ice - I know this sounds silly but get a drink with their ice and you will make it an afternoon stop especially if you love sweet tea. read more

Don't waste your money here!! The food is terrible! I love chicken liver and gizzards mix, but this was the last time I bought it from this location. They messed it up for the third time in a row!! The first time they messed up the whole order. The second time, they gave me raw meat and this last time the livers has the gallbladder still on it!!! When I called the store to talk to the manager, he was super rude and when I asked if they inspect the food before serving it, he said "Well it comes in a bag, from there it goes in the fryer. I love Chicken Express. I love the sweet tea, and I go through the drive up daily to get it. There has been a special going on about getting 4 gallons for $10. This special has been offered to me until yesterday when I went to order it. The young girl said it was just offered on the holidays. I explained that I just got 4 gallons last week for $10. She told me no, and so I didn't get the tea. They may have lost me as a customer. read more
