Protein style, double double, animal fries

The area itself feels a little dangerous at night, but the food is solid! I always love how in-n-out is so customizable, and the food always comes out quick. It's always so saucy and messy, but I feel like it's kind of better that way.

1st time trying in-n-out, Burger was AMAZING!! Pink lemonade was great as well, fries were okay which was expected but that's okay! Service was excellent and fast considering they were busy. Store was very clean and well kept, definitely will be back!

Extra well done fries are the best...

We had not been to In-N-Out in years so I was very excited to come here. The prices are still incredibly low, the secret menu incredibly fun and the service incredibly friendly and helpful. Kayla helped me order as we had complex Dutchman, extra toppings, chili peppers, extra well done fries and more!! She was quite patient with me and made sure we were happy! Other employees also checked on me as I patiently waited. This place continues to amaze me with quality, service, options on a tiny menu, and price. Life is good with fun delicious affordable custom burgers and fries.

Another TikTok trend sent me here lol. Being from California I'm very familiar with In n out , however I have never been pressed or a fan until recently. So trending on TikTok has been this amazing creation called the Flying Dutchman, whole onion wrapped (it's basically a double patty cheese burger with sliced grilled onions in place of the hamburger bun. A keto friendly burger. Via the videos I watched on TikTok , it pairs well with the in n out spread sauce and a bite and drippings from the green chili peppers . So I had mines identical to what I watched . OMG, what a combination/creation. The best and only way that I prefer to have my burgers now . I've never been a fan of their fries, and it seems that they are the type of fries that you have to eat fresh, and should be discarded if any left over because they don't reheat well at all. I tried my fries this last time around the monster style way , and I wasn't disappointed. They are Not something that I could eat often but they are definitely a great addition to the menu. The milk shakes (strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate) are nothing extravagant but they are good and great chaser to a good burger. Since experiencing this amazing creation , I've had the opportunity to remake the Flying Dutchman, and it was beyond amazing . And I want to say being able to flavor/season my patties to my liking only extended the appreciation and love that I have for this type of burger. I cooked my beef patties and the grilled onions in bacon grease and sprinkled garlic power and onion powder until my ancestors jumped out the skillet and told me to stop . Lol ... The Flying Dutchman it's such a messy burger. From The slippery onions to the melted cheese, you definitely can't eat this type of burger while driving . You'll need all hands on deck, available and ready to grab the onions and they begin to separate from the patties. I want to give a lot of attention to the staff and this overall location( Lancaster, Tx). They were all working so well together getting the food out fresh , hot and quickly. They are the Chick-fil-A of hamburger joints If you ask me. Everyone smiling ,in good spirits, helpful and simply just happy to serve their community. I have such an a phobia for the color white , it's always been a color that I feel I'll never be mature or careful enough to wear , but the way their all white uniforms with red aprons were so clean and freshly crisped, it played with my anxiety lol . I'd be a nervous wreck trying to keep my clothes from getting dirty if I had to work there lol . I must admit that I am very grateful that they chose to put a in n out in this area, I often look forward to stopping by after a long day of work. Anyone sleeping on in n out needs to wake up immediately.

The burger. I love that it was packaged ready-to-eat!

Overall was okay. Really liked the packaging (fries in open boats, burgers partly wrapped) and the menu was straightforward with reasonable prices. The fries had a flavor reminiscent of those potato sticks in a can. They correctly executed our burger customizations in a timely manner. E like his plain and dry cheeseburger and I enjoyed a hamburger with grilled onions, extra tomatoes, pickles and sauce. The onions needed salt, but the overall taste was fine. I liked that they didn't put too much sauce. Mustard would have been a good addition. E says "no", but I would eat here again. However, I would order just a burger and maybe try a milkshake.

Cheeseburger meal with lemonade. Craving is satisfied.

Will never go wrong with In-n-Out Burger. Drive through was long but was served fast. Will go back for more and get the 4 by 4 and animal fries.

Look, I'm from New Jersey, right outside of Philly, and we don't have In-N-Out Burger. The last time I was in Texas, I gave it a try, I didn't think it was bad. Wasn't going to try it again, but because of all the fanfare they receive, I wanted to give it one more try. I ordered the Double Cheeseburger, Cheese Fries, and a Coke. The burger was good, but it didn't leave me wishing we had In-N-Out in New Jersey/Philly area. The fries, just like my first visit, and for the same reason, were the most disappointing. They are the driest French Fries I've ever had, I ain't a skinny dude, I've had a lot of French Fries. For me, I've had better French Fries at local Mom and Pop joints than what I've had at In-N-Out. My son got 2 grilled cheese sandwiches which are hamburger rolls with melted cheese. He's 12 and he loved it. In-N-Out has a nice atmosphere, cool look inside and out, employees are friendly, and very clean. The food is well prepared, and the burgers are decent. I know they have a loyal following from the area where they were established, but for me, I wouldn't be excited if they opened in my hometown. If you have heard about In-N-Out, you should give it a try. Maybe you'll be a huge fan, but I am not. P.S. Google search In-N-Out Secret Menu before you order.

Yum, first time trying in-n-out. We enjoyed the burger, fries, and milk shake. It was worth the trip! Also got a shirt too, pretty cool. The burgers are flat style almost like steak and shake style burger but without the grease. It also comes rapped too to make it easier and less messy to eat. We frequented different locations on our visit to Texas and enjoyed each time. Price is great too!!

I asked for the Flying Dutchman with onion wrapped on both sides... they gave me a patty with barely any grilled onion on top.. they asked me if I wanted it animal style and I said yes.. & nothing. Literally just a burger with cheese & a little grilled onion on top. Very disappointing... I also asked for a double double and they gave me one patty.

The granddaughter had to have her Animal Fries and Cheeseburger, so. I thought I'd get a Cheeseburger, no bun, no tomato, and some Cheese Fries. Yep, they've got that -- a burger, no bun and no tomato; want a lettuce wrap? Yes, please! Now, they Did mess up my order; burger came with tomato. But they remade it. The lettuce wrap is a little too much for such a thin little burger, but the burger itself tasted good, and I do appreciate that they accommodate gluten intolerant people. I also ordered cheese fries and a tea; both were good. The granddaughter was so busy with her cheeseburger that I never heard a word out of her, but I know she loves In-N-Out. Clean place, great service -- Go there!!

I'm just not a fan of anything that tries to replace an already good burger in Texas. Maybe just too much California in it.

Vivian Howard of North Carolina, Chef, Restaurateur and teacher to hopeful home cooks with her current show on PBS, "Kitchen Curious" cites Bojangles as the source of her inspiration for dirty rice, wanting to recreate that specific flavor profile at home. Yes, Bojangles. She even went through their drive thru on the show where she makes her own version of dirty rice. So I finally went to the Bojangles near me in Lancaster one evening. We stopped in and marveled at the many biscuit combinations on the menu. I will say that reading through the reviews on our way there was weird though. There are apparently "legacy" Bojangles out East that serve bone in Chicken and more selections of sides or "fix ins." This caused consternation after this Lancaster franchise opened and they didn't have bone in chicken. It seemed to affect customer perception of the current trimmed down menu of biscuit and tenders, salads and sandwiches only menu early on. The menu reminds me of Chick- fil-A, just different. As for today, I came for the Dirty Rice. But we did order two Chicken sandwiches plus pickles, a family size dirty rice and a family size coleslaw, to go. Bojangles does not have jalapeños FYI. The menu neglected to show a sandwich only price. So I asked. I was told $6.92 including tax. The family size fix ins were $4.99. Combos with sandwich, beverage, and side choice are approximately $9.50. Sandwiches come with lettuce and tomatoes according to the menu. The restaurant was clean with booths and tables. Service was friendly. When we got home though, I must have been misunderstood or I misunderstood what went on the sandwiches. We had ended up with only pickles instead of added pickles. I don't usually post photos of food with utensils or half full containers with food already removed but today, I am doing that. I sliced up some tomatoes, washed lettuce, got out the jalapeños and more pickles and mayo and we fixed up our sandwiches. I would like to think that everything would have been sorted out at the restaurant if we had dined in, but only 2 pickles? Seriously? The chicken itself was cooked perfectly. The exterior was still mostly crispy and was well seasoned. It certainly needed the veggies. And I have to have my jalapeños! The bun was brioche however and perfectly toasted. Now the dirty rice. I could taste the chicken bouillon in the well seasoned rice and the big chunks of sausage were appreciated. It was good. So was the coleslaw. Nice and cold, crunchy and a perfect foil to my jalapeños on my sandwich. So we spent spent $24.42 on two people for no drinks, two large sides and two sandwiches. Honestly, it was good, but it is not something that I would eat frequently. As I said, we don't usually eat fried chicken out. They are open 24 hours! With a well lit drive thru and easy online ordering. Go and check them out!

Placed my order for pickup via the app and I was given 2:13pm as my time when my food would be ready...bear in mind I only ordered a 2pc kids meal. I arrived at 2:08, and parked in the curbside pickup spot and waited. By 2:26 I began to get a little concerned so I called inside. Someone answered the phone and I asked if my order came through successfully to which the young lady responded, "Yes! I saw your curbside order come through, but I don't see you in the parking lot." I waived my hand to show her I was there and get this, I waited an additional 10 minutes and the food still didn't come out. By this time, my grandson is getting upset. I go ahead and pull up to the drive thru and was greeted by a very kind young lady. I told her my dilemma and she radioed into the restaurant what was happening. She thought she was talking to someone, but when she finished telling them what was happening, no one ever responded with a follow up. I went on and drove around and let the lady know why I was there and gave her my phone to show proof of purchase. This young lady proceeds to ask me, "Did you pay for it already"? At this moment, I'm mortified!!! I still kept my cool, because I didn't want a drink or cane's sauce with a secret spit ingredient. After 30 minutes I finally got my food, and I believe I received it because my facial expression let them know I was extremely angry! I've NEVER been treated so poorly in my entire life! I think putting "limited time" makes people go crazy , they get to acting as if it's the end of the world or that they're going to die if they don't get their hands on the limited time items, and i absolutely hate that for society. I'm learning that it's easier and less chaotic waiting a couple of weeks to try newly released items even if that means I don't get to try them. My last trip was to try the viral Popeyes pickled options . I ordered The fried pickles , the deep fried pickle chicken sandwich and the pickled lemonade. I absolutely love pickles and most pickled flavor foods and knew that this would be either amazing or not so much lol. The wait time was decent, the service was friendly and the food was definitely made when we ordered ( hot and fresh ). For me these items that I chose to try weren't my favorite, with the fried pickles being my least favorite. They were missing something or something's . Although they were fresh and hot , they were somewhat mushy, the breading didn't stick well to the pickles. Im thinking it may have been the kind of pickles that were used . The pickle flavored fried chicken sandwich had potential and wasn't bad at all, it was dripping a lot of oil/ juice. The pickle flavored lemonade was ok but something I more than likely wouldn't order again . Overall the experience was unique and I'm glad I had the opportunity to try the limited time items . Should this be an item added to the regular menu, for me it's a No . I've come to this particular location a few times and don't recall ever having an interaction that's made me not want to return. I like that this location sits in a parking lot alone off a Main Street , so I usually don't have any issues getting in and out of the parking lot of really long lines. The times I've come which is in the afternoons after work ( between 3pm- 7pm), and majority of the cars are in line versus parked, so it's probably safe to assume that they don't get as much dine in as they do Togo service, or at least not during that dinner rush . I really look forward to trying more of their limited time options as I'm pretty familiar with their regular tasty items . The 3 piece dark spicy with a side of mashed potatoes EXTRA gravy or those Cajun fries will always have a special place in my heart.
