This is an update from two years ago. We have found Hibachio-Midlo to be such a laid back place. We love the patio outside this converted Dairy Queen and the comfy booths and tables inside with the plants and sweet folks at the counter. I'm making this post because this wonderful salad was so darn good today! Top sirloin steak, grilled Hibachi style with greens, lettuce, tomatoes, sliced mushrooms, red onions, cucumbers, shredded cabbage, carrots and avocado. Tender scrumptious steak. Wow! Perfect crispy veggies and I love their amazing ginger dressing and a little Yum Yum sauce & Eel sauce on it all. Just terrific. Their sushi is generally immaculate. The spicy tuna is consistently plump and spicy and my favorite. The Shrimp Tempura Roll was not though. The shrimp was simply mushy and favorless. Not much impact. My husband still always gets a plate and loves his teriyaki. He had Teriyaki Chicken and Shrimp with lovely veggies and fried rice. Ate it all. Every bite. I found our table service very well done and we had everything we needed. We'll be back! read more

Highly highly disappointed. I would not recommend. We were so excited to try this place out because we love hibachi, the parking lot is always packed, and the overall look of it is great. My fiancé ordered the chicken and shrimp hibachi and it has literally no flavor. It was very bland and honestly tasted like it had been sitting out all day in straight beef broth. The rice had no seasoning. The shrimp was the best part of it and it was still below average. I ordered the volcano roll and everything tasted fake. The carb was even hard to chew because it was gross. I didn't even finish my meal. Do not let the parking lot fool you. We will not be coming back. I would rather go to Panda Express if that tells you anything. On a positive note - the building, decorations and sitting are very nice. Just wish the food was better. We didn't have much interaction with anyone but it wasn't like the service was bad. read more

Just moved to the area and had to try this place! We ordered takeout and everything was amazing. We had chicken fried rice, and the chicken was so tender. Also ordered pork lo mein and the pork was so well seasoned. My son had steak lo mein and loved it. Lastly we had a spicy California roll, which was a huge roll! They provide their own "yum yum" sauce, which is a bit heavy on the mayonnaise but not awful. Looking forward to ordering from this location again. read more

Tonight we stopped by Hibochio for the first time and had a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted, and the staff kindly explained how the ordering process works. Lilly was especially great--she checked on us several times and made sure everything was perfect. The food? Absolutely 10 out of 10! Everything was well-seasoned and bursting with flavor. We came here and got some sushi and fried rice. It's like an old Dairy Queen but they actually made it look pretty nice. The service was really, they were all so nice. I ordered $25 worth of sushi only to get it home with no wasabi or ginger. When I called and asked if they forgot it, they told me that currently that's a "special request". Glad I didn't order chicken and rice. The rice is probably special request as well. Won't go back. read more

I went to this restaurant for a drive through to go order, the staff was very friendly. I have such weird interactions with this particular location, it gets to be funny.... In my earlier reviews I mentioned that I had things left out of my take out order on consecutive visits....... Since then It has been fine because i would go in and order.... Well, i got way to confident, Went through the drive through and actually joked with the girl and asked if she was sure everything was there.... I glanced in the sack and there were two meals and the spring and egg rolls we ordered........ Got home (about 8 miles away) and our order of steak and shrimp with rice and steak and shrimp with noodles had magically become chicken and steak on both!‍...... Now, no worries because we love everything Hibachio has and as always this was delicious!..... I'm thinking next time just say give me whichever meal you want, we like anything!! But, if thats the worse thing that happens, I think we will be OK read more

I really like the food at Hibachio! That being said the last 3 times our family ordered takeout my order was not in the bag when my wife arrived! Once is forgivable, twice is not good, the third time is unacceptable! Come on man... y'all can do better!!! read more

It's like a classic diner combined with sushi. I loved the little origami hung up as well, cute ambiance. The place is pretty nice to get dine out, the service allows it easy to get the food. I dined in, and I got some of the spicy edamame. Which was actually spicy, fair warning. I enjoyed the food too, it was fresh, and not to badly priced. read more

I used to like this place. The food is about the same but the service has really deteriorated. Spent $100+, left 15% tip. Order was right on the ticket but wrong when it was bought to our table. We have a severe egg allergy and ordered "gluten free/egg free" fried rice which was delivered with egg in it. They remade it thankfully but one reg order of chicken fried rice never came. We checked on it five times (literally). By the time I got it my family was done eating (25 min). So I asked for it to-go. When it came it was not regular it was only chicken and rice, nothing else. The worst thing was the attitude, no one took the initiative to care about the customer. Like I said I used to really like this place. read more

The servings at Hibachio are generous. We forgot to pay for drinks, and the employee at the counter was kind enough to gift us a couple of drinks. The kiddos really enjoyed the food as well even though they can be picky. The restaurant was quiet, and the servers were busting their tail to clean tables. food is always fast and hot! We like the shrimp fried rice and we add an order of scallops to it. my wife is hooked on the yum yum sauce.

I stopped by this place tonight and do not live in the area and ordered the hibachi plate. Was so excited because there are not many options in the area. I ordered steak and shrimp. The portion of the steak and shrimp together was no more than the palm of my hand. The when I ordered the food at the front counter the person said they have cubed steak and that they only cooked it well done. When I looked at it, it was not cubes and they did not cook it medium like I asked him. The ambiance was a little unorganized and I think that the place needs a better system. There was only one person who actually cared and was 100% focused on me, and he fixed my rice from white to fried like I ordered. I was disappointed with everything but the rice.
