TLDR: Service was great but the food overall was a bit lacking. Service Rating: 5 stars Service was there, staff kept checking in on us and making sure things were good. Food Rating: 2 Stars Here's what we ordered: Walnut Shrimp, (2 Stars) Large Ox Tail Pho (2 Stars) and Bun Bo Hue (3 Stars) We were there during Happy Hour so ordered the Walnut Shrimp since it was $4 off regular price. The Walnut Shrimp was pretty small in size. There wasn't enough of the sauce and the batter was minimal. Shrimp wasn't as flavorful. Walnuts were nicely coated and sweet. This dish came out less than 10 mins after we ordered, which was very suspicious to us. Oxtail Pho - Pretty disappointing. The Oxtail wasn't as tender as we hoped. The broth? Overpowered by one of the spices (I think it was the Star Anise) and just didn't taste right. Noodles were cooked well. Bun Bo Hue - Broth was actually somewhat spicy to my surprise (I love spicy and can never find a good BBH that is actually spicy). But other than that was okay. Lots of lemongrass (feels like it was the frozen lemongrass) and I thought that extra charge for pork blood was absurd esp considering the price of the BBH already. In addition, it did not come with the usual veggies

This is a great place Spacious , light and clean You are not sitting on top of each other Food is fresh and tasty Price is fair considering the amount you get Hands down the best Vietnamese/Asian food I've eaten in Midlothian or Waxahachie service was excellent

Pho is usually my go to comfort food during the cold weather or if I'm not having the best day, for some reason it always seems to make me feel better, regardless of the weather temperatures outside . I was out and about running errands and wanted somewhere not too busy where I could just sit back, enjoy a nice meal and get my thoughts together, when i came across this location. I quickly pulled up google and yelp accounts to see what others had said about it and was interested after a couple of reviews that I had read. I found a small table in the middle of the restaurant. My server approached quickly. For an appetizer I order 3 egg rolls (stuffed with pork and vegetables & served with fish sauce), I also ordered a Thai tea and the pick any 3 meats Pho (I chose Tripe, meat balls & Duck ). This was my first time having duck in my pho and it was different but also delicious. My previous experiences with duck weren't the best , my take has always been that duck is too oily/ greasy to me. Still very much the case this time around. However, the greasiness of the duck paired well in my pho bowl and It was really nice and tender as well. The broth was piping hot and savory. The egg rolls were a 10/10, the Thai tea was 8/10, and the 3 meat pho was a 8/10. This location had some decent foot traffic. There were a few others dinning in but I did notice a lot of people coming in to pick up orders for take out. I enjoyed my meal & service so much, that I returned a couple of days later for take out. This time around I got an order of egg rolls again , their salt and pepper chicken fried extra crispy and the 2 meats Pho ( tripe and meat balls ). Similar to my dine in experience, I enjoyed everything that I ordered. I would have liked my salt and pepper chicken wings to be much more crispier, but they were still yummy. I wasn't too pleased with the price of the wings either . I paid $17 for just 6 wings, that to me felt like a rip off. For that amount it should have came with some fried rice or something. So i probably won't get the wings again. I just know that I'll definitely be a regular at this location during the fall and winter season, and I love that it's only 9 mins away from my house.

The ox tail pho as delicious. I got a big bowl and they offer a lot of meat. We also got a walnut shrimp that was not worth the cost and tasted bland. The location is great with lots of parking spaces. There's a lot of tables and this place won't get full. This isn't really an Asian place so temper your expectations. This is a standard restaurant

We came on a Sunday morning right at opening. The place looked welcoming and food came out in a good amount of time. I will say I love pho and I'm big on judging them by the taste of the noodles and broth. I will say that we were not disappointed. I always order the chicken pho with the chicken on the side. Idk I'm weird but my kids eat the chicken. My husband got a beef one. I can't remember which one. And we got the kids pho with the combination fried rice because we can't do pho without it in our family. The kids pho was a good decent size. My son also loves pho and he said he would love to come back again. Which we most definitely will. The only thing I will say is that the combination fried was ok. It wasn't horrible but didn't wow me but my daughter ate all the shrimp and loved them. The place was big so it could accommodate for big parties. Place Was also clean and we enjoyed our visit. We've found our new pho place that's closer to our house since we usually drive to Arlington.

Nam was an amazing host. Since it was my first visit, he took the time to explain the menu and how the dishes are served. I ordered the pork vermicelli, and my husband had the oxtail pho. The food tasted fresh, full of herbs, and well-balanced with a generous portion of meat. He also informed us about the drink specials. The freshly made margarita had me feeling good, and I later tried a basil martini, which was very refreshing. These were their happy hour options until 6pm. The atmosphere was nice and clean, and we truly had a great time.

The experience is always a 10 out of 10! Food, drinks and customer service are always great! They're very good at transforming an idea into a reality. Ask for Nam! He's an awesome mixologist! He knows his stuff. 5 star vibes in a small city!

One of the best pho restaurants we've had. Meats are tender, all vegetables are fresh and juicy. Regular pho is good as usual, Bun Bo hue is above average good, V is different but good. Price wise it's very reasonable too.

Very good food! The pho is really good, just adjust to your taste using the provided sriracha and hoisin. The spring rolls great but the duck curry is a must have. The service is quick, just at attention bc the they do have a built in tip into the reciept. The ambience is chill too with lots of seating. Will definitely be back. read more

Wow I got the grilled pork bahn min with patè and salt and pepper chicken wings. Outstanding all of it. So much flavor in these. The bread soft with a slight chew and the pork so full of flavor. The pho is amazing! We drive up from Red Oak just to eat here. We've tried several Pho places and this is by far the best one we've found in DFW. The service was great, Nam helped us out, was super friendly! Even my kid who's a picky eater will eat the pho here! Long wait, overpriced, friendly waiter, yellow fried rice with overcooked chicken, greasy and, reddish chicken in spring roll. I called in a pickup order (combo fried rice, shaken beef, chicken spring rolls) around 11 and he said 20 minutes. It took 40 minutes and there were only 2 couples in the restaurant. Maybe they had a lot of take out orders? Total price was $45. Shaken beef was quite tasty but there were as many onions as beef, meaning they were light on meat, heavy on onions. Spring rolls and peanut sauce was good but I was so focused on the color of the chicken, I couldn't finish it. Lastly, the fried was yellow and I mean yellow! The container was stained yellow. Maybe they use saffron? The chicken was highly overcooked and chewy, the shrimp and beef were cooked perfectly but the overall taste was blah. Forgot to snap a pic of shaken beef. read more

Friendly and prompt service! I was greeted right when I walked in. Judging by the outside, I did not expect a spacious room! There was a ton of seating. I ordered a bahn mi sandwich to go. I used to drive 20 miles to the Grand Prairie location because it was the best pho closest to me. So glad that they opened a location even closer! The food here is so good and Nam is always such a great server! They just had their soft opening so I don't think the menu is as big as their other location just yet, but this is by far the best pho place in town. Broth is flavorful, pretty sure the meatballs might be made in house, 100% the best pho in town. read more

His food reflects his spiritual philosophy and his joy in sharing it with customers at the Desoto Marketplace. There's oodles of parking here with food trucks outside and the food kiosks inside. There are two areas with tables and chairs if you want to dine in and there's picnic tables outside. Since there are other non-restaurant businesses here, too, you can browse while you wait. Restrooms are in the back. There's even a playground if you have small children. Hours are weekday only, Tuesday through Friday with a break in the afternoon.

I really hate writing negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share this experience…read more When my pho was served, I noticed visible bugs on the fresh basil plate. As uncomfortable as it was, I politely pointed it out to the staff. They took the plate back but then returned with the exact same herbs, bugs still on them. Nothing had been replaced or addressed. After that, the atmosphere shifted and the staff acted noticeably uncomfortable, which made the situation even more awkward. To make matters worse, I later learned from someone who previously worked there that unused pho vegetables from other tables are reportedly reused. Whether that practice is consistent or not, combined with what I personally experienced, it raises serious concerns about food safety and hygiene. I can't in good conscience return, and I hope the restaurant takes these issues seriously. Cleanliness and proper food handling are non-negotiable.

My husband ordered the Crunchy Pig sandwich, my sister went for the half rack of ribs, and I claimed the smoked turkey BLT. As soon as my family and I walked in we were warmly greeted and chose our own seating! Very clean and friendly ambiance. Ordering was very easy and the food came out within perfect timing after ordering appetizer, the food was amazing, it's very hard to find good Pho around DFW area.
