Vegetarian Egg Rolls
Kenedi R.

Our family had pork egg rolls, pho, craw fish fried rice, and a chicken and rice plate. We really enjoyed it! Everything was super tasty, the restaurant was clean, the staff were super quick, friendly, and very accommodating! We will definitely be back soon.

My mom and I split the beef stew with a baguette and a chicken Bahn mi. Both were very good! Stew was seasoned perfectly. Service was friendly and efficient. Ambiance was fast food but pleasant. Dining area was clean. Prices were fair. Great meal for the price, recommend!

Thai Tea , PHORRITO

The food is incredible. And the prices very reasonable. Had the phoritto and it was phenomenal. Highly recommend! Will definitely be returning to try more of their unique dishes. The service was great, and the food was served quickly. We very much enjoyed our meal.

Pros Price Ambience Cleanliness Cons Spacing There are plenty of different Pho places throughout the metroplex. This is one of very few in the Rowlett area and it definitely has its plus side. The most noticeable thing is the affordable food, menu items start as low as $3 but the standard pho bowl is about $10 which is nice. The ambience here is pretty cool, traditional Asian style. It's also very clean in comparison to other pho places that I've been to. The only down side is having a large party here, there's not much space for large groups, the biggest a party can be is about 4 people. Other than that a great place to check out!

Tofu vermicelli

Got takeout from here and it was pretty good. The tofu vermicelli was a large portion and the tofu was very crispy. I loved the fried onions on top! The veggie eggrolls were a bit mushy so I wouldn't get them again. Service was quick and very friendly!

Shrimp Pho

This is my second favorite place to eat Pho in the DFW metroplex. I chose to eat inside for a change. The inside seating is limited, so I advise to find times outside of lunch and dinner rush hours to avoid a wait (though it's worth it). You'll find there's a TV mounted up for entertainment, and music playing softly in the background. There is also a beautifully built altar by the register and many thriving plants throughout for added decoration. Service is prompt and food is always FRESH. Today I ordered the shrimp pho with a side of vegetable egg rolls. The broth for the pho was soo good I almost elected not to add anything to it. However I'm trying to avoid an oncoming cold, so I added the siracha and chili sauce to clear my sinuses...and hoisin for balance so I wouldn't combust into flames lol. The shrimp to noodle ratio was perfect, as were the egg rolls. The only thing that I don't like is how their prices have continued to creep up since the pandemic but what can you do ?

Nice presentation.

Dined in recently and as we were finishing up we saw a roach on the wall next to our table. The broth for the pho was mediocre.

Above average Pho spot, but there are definitely better places in Wylie and Dallas. I usually get brisket, and the portion size is good

Before we even walked through the doors, we were hit with the most incredible aromas coming from the restaurant. It immediately made us excited to eat. Once inside, we were greeted with warm smiles by Leona, who was absolutely adorable and incredibly attentive to everyone dining there. We also had the pleasure of talking with Mr. B, who shared his vision for the restaurant and how he wants it to be different. You can genuinely feel the love, pride, and passion he has poured into this place--not only in the atmosphere but in every bite of food. Following some of his recommendations, we started with the chicken gyoza. They were perfectly fried, crispy on the outside, and packed with flavor. For my entrée, I ordered the tofu yellow curry at spice level 4. Let me tell you--it was SPICY! But it was also absolutely delicious. I can't wait to order it again, although there are so many other menu items I want to try too. Jason ordered the chicken Pad Thai. He's extremely picky about noodle texture and thickness, and he devoured every single bite. He ordered spice level 3, which was almost too much for him, but that didn't stop him from cleaning his plate! Of course, we had to finish with the mango sticky rice, which was my favorite part of the meal. I poured every drop of that sweet coconut sauce over the rice and mango, and there wasn't a trace left on the plate. We even used the extra sauce from the gyoza in our dishes because everything was just that good. There's a reason Rumdoul is sitting close to a 5-star rating. The food is incredible, the service is wonderful, and the passion behind the restaurant shines through in every detail. We will absolutely be back--and as soon as our little man arrives, we'll be adding sushi to our order too! Giving Rumdoul 5's with zero hesitation.

The Thai food was nothing short of amazing! The staff and chef were super friendly and nice. The food was soo good and we were so hungry didn't get a chance to take pics :( please do get their mango sticky rice for dessert. That was chefs kiss!

Came here for the bánh ít ram while my sis came to visit me. We actually had bánh ít ram in Vietnam…read morebefore and loved it, so I was really excited to see it on the menu. It's a Hue specialty, so it's not something you can find at just any Vietnamese restaurant. The bánh ít ram was good and I would order it again. It wasn't the best I've ever had, especially compared to what we had in Vietnam, but it was still good enough to satisfy the craving. Definitely worth trying if you're a fan of Hue food or bánh ít ram! A bonus about this restaurant is that the service was really great and everyone was just so sweet. The restaurant was also well kept and nice.

Everything had a very authentic, homemade feel, and it was nice to find a place that offers so many Huế-style and Central Vietnamese specialties. The small dishes were especially fun to share, and the sugar cane juice was a refreshing addition to the meal. Overall, Goc Hue is a great spot if you enjoy Vietnamese food and want something beyond the usual pho or banh mi options. We would definitely come back to try more of the menu.
