Ordered the sweet-and-sour chicken with combination fried rice and the Kung Pao chicken. Unfortunately, the food fell way short of expectations. The Kung Pao chicken was mostly filled with vegetables and barely had any actual chicken. The sweet-and-sour chicken was overcooked, and the breading was mostly empty fried batter with very little meat inside. To top it off, I had severe stomach upset immediately after eating. Wouldn't recommend. read more

Best in the area, I've been going here for 30 years, lots of variety and great pricing

Good food and most authentic I've had in a long while. Prices are competitive to the market

This place is a ghetto hole in the wall but the service and flavors in the place is awesome!!!I will be back!!!

We tried Chi's Wok due to our previous Chinese place closing... and it's actually not half bad! We were hesitant to try the food as some reviews were up-and-down, but my experience here has been amazing. We typically order the kung pao chicken, orange chicken, combination lo mein, and their spring rolls. We have always received good quality food. Everything has been tasty and fresh! Yes, the inside and outside of the place is not the prettiest, but the people they have at the front taking orders are good. The owners are quite stern but I don't take that personally. I recommend you try this place out if you're in the area! They have weekly lunch specials and they pack up your plate. read more

Food is great! Price and portions are good! The overall experience for a pick up restaurant is great. read more

The food is surprisingly very good. We've ordered twice now and been very happy with the freshness and taste of the food. We ordered Combination fried rice, combination rice noodles, and lemon chicken. All three were delicious. We will order again soon. read more

Their food is fine, but don't click the delivery option. I had to literally drive to a sonic in mesquite so the grub hub driver would pass me the order. WTF! Save yourself the 20 in extra charges when you are going to have to hop in your car. read more

So I had been craving Chinese take out and was over in Mesquite, Texas. After going over to the wonderful "Yelp" app (shameless plug!) I saw reviews on Chi's Wok and decided to try it. It was frigging GOOD! First let's talk about the restaurant, it's small, and not some fabulous eatery but the food, my gosh the FOOD! But before I get ahead of myself, I want to really compliment the staff and the friendly customer service, they are very helpful and even recommended what we finally chose to select. We selected the large combo platter, which gives you two entrees and a choice of steamed or fried rice. We chose Gen. Taos Chicken and Orange chicken. And also combo lo mein. (The lo mein is delicious!) The portions are HUGE, both entrees were cooked fresh, delightfuly crispy and not oversauced. I will be definitely be going again to visit this hidden gem in Mesquite and highly recommended it to all. read more

I ordered the fried wontons which came with a delicious dipping sauce & the chicken lo mein which was also satisfying. Timely delivery. I'll remember to order from here again. read more

Chi's Wok - Crispy fried wontons - Chinese Near Me - Mesquite, Texas

Yummy! Their food is great. Very fresh. The beef in my broccoli beef was the highest quality I've seen at a Chinese restaurant.

It used to be good. Now it's junk and if order is not right they want to argue. Not any more.

The owner has an attitude. You have to stay on them to get all of your sauces. I am from out of state and I have had way better Chinese food. My broccoli had a bad refrigerator taste. A couple of pieces tasted sour. I threw it away and will never buy from this place again. I can't find a decent Chinese food place in Dallas Coun read more

The staff was fast and nice. The food was really hot when we received it, which was amazing . However the chicken was like boiled chicken with broccoli and sauce on top. The flavor wasn't there for me. read more

Food was not great. I got the Kung Poa chicken ordered the spicy. Not spicy at all and chicken quality has some to be desired. Service was excellent. To go only place so no ambiance. read more

DO NOT CLICK ON THE WEBSITE!!!!!! These people are rude as hell ( not the Mexican guy cashier he was sweet ), but when the manager took over to talk to me, I try to explain to her that her website is an ASIAN PORN SITE!!!! She did not care and told me that's the wrong one. Manager didn't apologize or anything and clicked quickly off the phone. The fact that your customers are telling you that your website is a freakin Asian PORN site is ridiculous. Like come on lady as much business you get, you think you will have more of a consideration read more

I love their crab rangoons, my wife's eyes light up when I bring out 3 orders of them. Chis wok has really excellent food and it's very decently priced. One meal can last for 3 portions, only thing I'd say is that they don't give enough rice for how much the portions can last. That just shows how much food they pack in! That's amazing value. Buy a dinner entree and enjoy. Put it back in the fridge and have it for lunch and dinner in the future, you'll just need to cook your own rice because the food is so good you'll run out of rice during your first meal! My favorite meal is the Mongolian beef, I normally don't like spicy foods but this really was worth it in my opinion read more

Dam good lunch specials Good portions nice Asian comfort meal Soups are decent and I love soup Extra sauces in the front Love that u don't have to ask Hell Can I marry this place lol read more

Used to think this place was great, grew up in the neighborhood used to eat from here all the time. But let me tell you, what I got when I order earlier was absolutely garbage.what was supposed to be 2 Entrees came mixed in the same container, was supposed to be Szechwan chicken and pepper steak but even if you could tell them apart despite being mixed together, there wasn't enough beef or chicken to have even called it ONE entree, it was just a container of soggy veggies and what tasted like just teriyaki sauce and I didn't order anything teriyaki. If all that wasn't enough the fried rice was semi overcooked and had a lot of crunchy pieces in it. I will literally never spend money here again. read more

Chi's Wok - Supposed to be Szechwan chicken and pepper steak.... - Chinese Near Me - Mesquite, Texas

The Singapore rice noodle is so freaking good. The cook is so nice and I'm very picky and he makes it the way I like it .. thank you !! Keep up the good work. Update: so I know this coronavirus and not being open has us all stressed out but I don't appreciate being hung up on today. I only called to express what I felt was different about my order today and all you had to do was receive the feedback and apologize and move on but instead you said "ok" and hung up! Not right! As much as I come to your establishment and buy food, I thought there was a mutual respect between us but I guess not. Pls don't hang the phone up on loyal customers such as myself! Lord knows I have spent all my paycheck buying your food. Which I love but pls be respectful. Thanks read more

Since I was much younger I remember my family coming here, the service and food quality still stands!

After going here for so many years, I have been disappointed for the last few months of trying to give them opportunity after opportunity in the hopes of better food and service. We are always rushed over the phone when placing an order. When we get our food, it's been mediocre at best compared to previous years. Today was the last straw. We called to place an order, on a Tuesday because all search avenues of their website say they're open, and we are told they are closed every Tuesday. read more

So good! Always a go to for quick Chinese! The crab rangoons, combination mei fun, and spicy combination fried rice are total staples. read more

The taste of the food was okay. The shrimp fried rice was a tad bit bland. I did not like that my 2 entree's were stuffed into one bowl together. The egg roll was greasy & its shell tasted like paper. The shrimp fried rice and well as the garlic shrimp had maybe 5 shrimp each. The amount of food was good. read more

My favorite so far as far as being fresh on everything. Starting with the steam rice. read more

Chi's Wok - Bud - Chinese Near Me - Mesquite, Texas

Let's be honest... This place is not PF Changs. However, if you're looking for something more authentic, tasty, and cheaper than Panda Express then Chi's Wok fits the bill. This place is in a strip mall. I've been coming here for years with my family but I'm not sure how we found the place. It must be good because I've seen the Dallas mayor in here... The best part about this place is the serving sizes. Most plates come in either small or large. I eat a lot and even these portions are too much. My friends and family usually share. I suggest two ppl sharing a small and three sharing a large. Price? A small is about 4.50 and a large is 5.99. For real. The best thing to do is get two smalls and share with a friend so you can get a variety. I love their hot and sour soup. It's richer and thicker than most you usually encounter. Don't judge this book by Its cover and give it a try! read more

If you think of soy sauce when people say 'Chinese food', this may be your place...but I will go elsewhere. Boring food seasoned with soy sauce. I don't know how you can make bland garlic beef, and tasteless Kung Pow chicken but they can do it! The ponzu sauce with the dumplings was great! Too bad everything else from the egg rolls to fried rice were either bland or doused in soy sauce. And prepare to be waited on by an angry woman at the register. Go someplace else. read more

I have worked across the street from this place for going on 4 years now and finally gave them a try. Taste is not to shabby. Neither to bland or full of flavor as other reviewers have said. Portions are what is expected at a Chinese fast food place. Not impressed at all with the decor. Really old and needs updating. I ordered a combination fried rice. I figure "thats simple enough, you should not be able to mess it up" and I was right. I got so much meat, chicken and shrimp that it was unreal. Im usually left with a bunch of left over rice but not today. read more

First time trying this place. Food was good. Portion sizes are large! Will definitely order from them again.

Great place to get Chinese food! My go to place was shut down from a kitchen fire incident. I decided to try chis wok, and I love it. I've put my whole family on this place. read more

We've been looking for a really good Cantonese Restaurant for take-out, and we found it! I ordered 3 combo meals and 3 egg rolls (they come in pairs). Since we've been disappointed with other local take-outs, we weren't expecting too much, but boy were we surprised! This place cooks dishes as they are ordered - fresh and hot and they smell so good you nearly starve getting them home! This is going to be our go-to place from now on! We loved it down to the last morsel! read more

Great tasting food at decent price. One of the best Chinese restaurants around Dallas. Highly recommend the spicy Hunan beef and hot and sour soup. read more

Nice people but me and wife both got food poisoning from this location! Hot and sour soup! Within the last week we ordered take out because they don't deliver which is fine. BUT we both were sick for 3 days. We were perfectly fine till about a hour after we finished eating. I don't recommend the soups! Won't be back. read more

OK, nothing worth writing home about. I am on the hunt for the best chinese food in my hood and sadly this wasn't it. The service was ok, and the food was ok as well. It could have been better seasoned. I ordered the combination lo-mein and it was very bland. I won't be back but i'm happy I tried. read more

Great food with large portions. We've been going there for years and I've never been disappointed

Looking for a good Chinese restaurant close by. This is not it! Tried because had good rating and good comments. My pupu platter was ok but the beef on the stick was dry. Ordered 3 Chinese ribs. Meat was dry and they had just poured the sauce on top. It had not been cooked to get that sticky topping. I can make these at home much better! I ordered MooShoo Chicken. It was terrible! Tasted like the bottom burned and they scraped off the top. My chicken was batter-fried- not suppose to be in this dish. My "pancakes" were raw sheets of fillo not thin pancakes. I threw the " house speciality" rice out as it was nothing special at all. My 2 free spring rolls appeared to be raw inside or had some type of sauce inside, not sure, but not a normal Spring roll. read more

Dont order from them online. You'll get there to pick it up and Sandra at the front who's playing on her phone will not have put your order in. The place is kind of a outdated dump and the food use to be halfway good but because they cant follow through with online orders I wont be back read more

I went there when it was raining because I'm pregnant and I get these cravings.....that day it was chinese food, I wanted it quick, cheap and sorry to say, greasy. I had my other children with me and of course they always fall asleep and I cannot wake them, so I have to say I am.thankful to establishments that cater to me. I call them from outside, tell them I have children I cannot take my eyes off of and park my car right in front of the door so I can hand them the money. They were understanding enough to bring the food out to me when it was finished, unlike Wingstop who say they will bring it out and dont and allows it sit on the side counter getting cold and lard returns to its solid state.... so that automatically gives them their first star. I ordered the fried crabsticks. My fault, Im so hungry sometimes that I dont think and I totally forgot that I HATE imitation crab! I should have known better for 6 bucks or less, but......so, yes, they are just battered fake crab sticks. I did like the hot and sour soup. It is standard, made just like every other chinsese fast food joint, but so good when it is freaking 39 degrees in Texas. I went very simple here and ordered standard chicken fried rice. Not bad tasting, chicken was tender, super large portion and not underwhelmed with chicken I might add. It was rather a good chocken to rice ratio for those who know what I mean. It could have been more colorful, meaning add some green onions or scrambled eggs or something, but overall, it had a good taste. read more

Very good portion size. My daughter loves the shrimp fried rice which actually has nice size shrimp. My hubby and I like the fact that the veggies in entrees are crisp and not overcooked. They are friendly both in person and over the phone. Delivery is fast and accurate and the prices are reasonable. read more

The Wife and I have been going here since the early 90's!!! The food is Great! The Prices reasonable and THEY DELIVER!!!! at one point we had 5 kid's in the house plus us.
