Really fresh sushi and all the plates we ordered had great flavor. The only nit pick comment I have is that the bits of chicken in the coconut corn chicken soup tasted a day or two old. Overall we were glad to eat here and would come back. The ambiance was also nice. read more

LOVED my food! I love me some Thai food. My waitress was really nice and my food came out super fast! It wasn't busy at all when I went (Saturday afternoon). 10/10 recommend! read more

The food was great and so were the prices. My husband and I eat there a lot. I recommend you eating. I've never eaten in the restaurant but it looks nice inside. read more

Yaaayyyy! A great sushi place with vegan options that is super close to home! The inside is comfortable with plenty of space. The decor is very cute and not overbearing. I love the waterwall at the entrance. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. I have been here several times now and this place has not disappointed yet. I have thoroughly enjoyed each of my visits here. I usually stick to avocado rolls cause yum! The indian pancakes are pretty delicious too as a appetizer. read more

Delicious curry and noodles! Great value and service. Our group arrived for lunch and two ordered the lunch bento boxes with chicken curry. I ordered chicken pad see eww. All were delicious and it was more than I could eat. Highly recommend. read more

Always good service, and good food. And we are picky about our sushi. Try anything, you won't be disappointed

The food was okay. It wasn't the best sushi we have had. We got very poor service. We had to ask for water and drinks. The waiter did not serve us everything that we had ordered. He served us our fried rice when we were done with dinner. The place was not real busy so I am unsure why the service was so poor. The ambiance was nice. Unfortunately we went for good food and service not really the ambiance. read more

Love their sushi rolls and lunch prices are great, big serving and prompt service. Sometimes has that sewer smell that everyone gets in Forney but that's just Forney. Haven't had anything bad there yet and we eat there quite a bit. read more

Very yummy and fresh sushi constantly! I've always had a good experience!! Their fried rice is also amazing and wonderfully authentic! It is made with short grain rice!! I usually get the shrimp fried rice and I order a few more to cover all of the rice! read more

Amazing! We went for supper and they were very busy. This means the kitchen was a bit slammed so food came out a tad slow. Despite this, the food is worth the wait. The waiters were friendly and attentive and the sushi was delicious. We had an Indian Pancake as an appetizer. We hadn't had that before, but apparently it was a bread pancake served with red curry sauce. Another customer recommended the Raw Mango Salmon Wrap. This was excellent and I strongly recommend it as well. The sweet heart roll was also excellent and recommended. We will undoubtedly be back. read more

Thai Square Sushi - Shrimp Japanese Ramen and Sushi - Sushi Bars Near Me - Forney, Texas

Wow. Just wow. I went with the Yaki Udon which had a perfect blend of slightly sweet and slightly smoky undertones. The vegetables were very fresh. I would not be surprised if they had bought them today. My wife went with a curry vegetable and steamed rice and despite my best efforts she was only willing to share a bite or two. Using some excuse that she is eating for two (which seemed like a ruse since our 5 month looks healthfully fat). I ultimately had to order Dragon Roll to enjoy more of the cuisine. Did not disappoint! read more

New to the area, food was good. Will go back we did take out ordered online they emailed when the order was received and ready for pickup.

Personally food and service was mediocre. I got the Chicken Pad Thai, it was overly sweet to me-more sweet than spice. They also did not have chili paste and waitress did not know what I was talking about... personal opinion I feel like every Thai restaurant should have some and know what that is. read more

BEST SUSHI I'VE EVER HAD! We had the Ninja roll, Author roll, and Dancing Eel roll. Each of which were amazing. We also ordered the miso soup and salmon avocado roll. It's very calm and quiet, which I liked as well. The waiter was very responsive and friendly. It also wasn't expensive, yet it tasted better than the expensive sushi I've tried. Overall, great food, great staff, would highly recommend. read more

The Pad Thai was not even close to what it should be. Don't recommend this place if you are looking for the traditional taste of Thai food.

Came back here with just my daughter and I omg all the food was amazing. The sashimi was totally worth it. Literally the salmon totally just melted in my mouth. I ordered salmon sashimi, spider crab roll, and miso soup for me; for my daughter she got the shrimp Japanese noodles and the Indian pancake(we get for free for checking in.) we are both full and very happy read more

Once again the sunny roll was absolutely delicious. Such a friendly atmosphere because the owner Cindy is so polite and helpful as well as the rest of her staff. And the hot sake is wonderful. read more

The food was great! We had the angry chicken, fried rice and a sushi roll, all were delicious! Some of the best Thai food I've had. Ambiance inside the restaurant was good, perfect for a night out! It can be hard to find good food out in the Forney area, so finding this place was definitely a win! My only reason for 4 stars is the price, we paid $50 for 3 items, we carried out, so we didn't have any extra charges for drinks or tips. This is somewhat expensive considering the size of the entrees, but if I'm in the mood for Thai and don't feel like driving to Dallas, this will be my go-to option. read more

My husband and I went last night on a whim (we don't live in the area). I was craving Thai; we don't have anything available where we live :( We ordered the edamame, yummy rolls, and green curry- ALL DELICIOUS!! The staff was great, friendly, and attentive which is always worth a positive review. I only gave 4 stars because I would have liked to have seen more Thai options on the menu to try out. TOTALLY a personal preference. Don't let that deter you from going. It's delicious food and great service. read more

Awesome food at great prices! I love their sashimi it's only $5 for three pieces. For me price is important as well as freshness and taste this place is 100% every time. read more

Curry chicken and rice was delicious. This place is hidden in the far corner of Lowe's parking lot. It's not a place you would drive by and think wow, I'm going to try that place. It is more of a destination. Well, worth a try. However, get ready to make it a regular stop once you try it. read more

Thai Square Sushi - Great atmosphere, extremely nice staff and food is delicious! Highly recommend. - Sushi Bars Near Me - Forney, Texas

Forney may be the last town farthest east of Dallas, Texas which still has that small town country feel to it. With its ongoing expansion of growth and opportunities, there is this place nestled in a corner that is very unexpected. I've been living in Forney for almost two years and have spent many weekends venturing into Dallas to find just the right Eastern Asian eatery to satisfy my cravings. Here is why I gave it five stars. 1) sushi lovers: the rice was cooked to a perfection and still warm to the touch as if just freshly made. The till was executed to every detail where it didn't fall apart. The flavoring with the ingredients is not over power taste like most seafoods do. 2) pad Thai lovers: you choose the strength level of spice and heat. The chicken was cooked to the most tender moister. 3) fried rice lover: yes one may screw up fried rice; although this restaurant did not. The vegetables still had a slight crunch and the rice was not soggy with oil residue all over plate like you may see at other places you may have been. Thus the fried rice was perfect. 4) the price: the prices were reasonably priced for the quality of food and service that I received. The food that I tasted reminded me of when I was in Taiwan eating traditional oriental food. I understand you must make decisions for yourself and yes I am that type of guy that reads and writes yelp reviews when trying out new places. I am a Midwesterner from Kansas, although born and raised Texan! Now I am back, to say, I've been to New York, Los Angeles, Orlando, Las Vegas and Kansas City. I have had my taste of fine oriental eateries and rank this place among them now. read more

I've gone several times and the service has been great! The last few times I've went it was a 20 minute wait and I was too hungry to wait. I need food right away. I will go back because the food was great! read more

Delicious food!!!!! Service is great!!!! Sushi is fresh and on point. My favorite restaurant in Forney!

The staff was rude from the moment we walked in.They have unwelcome atmosphere and hearing that multiple of my friends have gotten food poisoning from this place kind of ruins it. The food not tastes fresh, the Thai food and hibachi and ramen created by themselves, not real authentic food at all. The ramen taste horrible, worst ramen in American! read more

Living in a small town, we normally have to go into the city to get some decent sushi. Great sushi was about an hour away without traffic. That was until someone had mentioned a sushi place in forney which is only about 10 mins away so I had to try it. So glad I did! It's hidden in a corner of a shopping strip and doesn't look like much from the outside. Walking in, you see a really cool water art feature and then the very well decorated restaurant itself. Very pretty and sophisticated. Great music playing in the background and very welcoming staff. They have a large menu with tons to choose from. We were there for a quick bite so we ordered the miso soup and a few rolls. Soup was great and the shrimp tempura roll was delicious with the sweet eel sauce that made the roll! Will definitely be back again to try some of their other dishes. read more

Their lunch menu is pretty good but unfortunately they only offer it for lunch during the week. I'm giving them three stars for limiting their menu items on weekends. read more

Best place to get sushi. Hands down. Very fresh tasting and flavorful. Their pad Thai is one of our favorite dishes, too.

Yes yes yes! Finally a valid reason to stay in Forney! :-P only kidding. Kind of. What I miss most about living in the middle of a metropolitan city is the cultural diversity, especially when it comes to food. The sushi here was great - yellowtail was smooth and buttery and the avocado creamy. The ambiance was spot on - I almost forgot where I was! I will definitely be back to try the Thai food, although I do wish they would expand the menu a bit to include more Thai dishes (think, pad se ew and tom kha gai). Also, happy hour would be great, with sushi and drink specials, like $5 lychee martinis *hint hint* oh, also, more raw salmon rolls please and thank you!! read more

Thai Square surprisingly nice. A sushi restaurant in Forney, at the end of the strip, tucked back in the corner didn't lift my expectation. However, that changed immediately when I walked in. You're immediately whisked away in the Japanese vibe, with the Asian guy behind the sushi bar hand rolling sushi rolls, the fabulous decor and the soothing atmosphere. The food is amazing! The rolls are delicious and the fried rice is yummy. We will go back. Tokyo Harbor you now have a competitor. read more

My first time trying this restaurant and I wanted something vegan since am vegan. I saw the tofu curry and was excited because my last experience at a Thai restaurant with red curry tofu was delicious and perhaps I had high expectations. Thai square's tofu in this entree was very mushy. I was highly disappointed. I saved half of my meal so I can take the tofu out to air fry it to get it more crisp but to no avail. The outside got crisp in my air fryer but the inside was still very mushy. I had to threw the tofu away because I didn't like it. Unfortunately, I will not be getting this again from there. read more
