This place was awesome! My husband and I came here for lunch on a Saturday. We brought our dog and he was allowed to join us on the back patio. My husband got the brisket sandwich and said it was great, and I got the jalapeño burger (subbed a veggie patty) and it was delicious! We each got a beer, and both were great. We enjoyed how you can see the brewery as you walk through it to the back patio, and that they supply games to play. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be coming back to try more of their menu! read more

Came here for brunch. I had the Snickerdoodle Belgian waffle, my husband had the chicken fried steak. One of our friends got the breakfast sandwich, another the breakfast tots. Gravy was on the floury side without much favor. Eggs were over cooked. Food was ok. To be fair, this is only serve breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. Our other friend got the Hot Mess Sandwich and said it was good. I got the stout they had. It was good. I will come back another time and try the lunch menu. read more

The best bbq I've ever had in riverside. The location is deceiving but it's such a fun place and the food is unreal.

Food was good. I ordered the brisket mac and cheese and it was very filling. My family ordered mostly burgers/chicken sandwiches and they said that the buns were too small for the meat. It kept falling apart. Our substitutions we asked for weren't acknowledged, we had ordered no lettuce or tomatoes and they still came with it on the food. All in all, they liked the tator tots and food, just needed the buns to be bigger. read more

Saw this place on Instagram and thought we'd give it a try for our first fully vaccinated outing. We were really hoping to get the brisket Mac n cheese and when we went to order, they were sold out!! We almost just left, but we are SO GLAD we didn't. Instead we tried fried pickles, mozzarella sticks, the hot mess chicken sandwich and the pork fries. Nothing disappointed. Was planning a 50th for a friend and came upon this place. Had lots of space food and drinks. Upon emailing Thompson they were helpful with the reservation and promo with email responses. They were even nice enough to allow us to store our birthday cake in their freezer. They had plenty of seating. A variety of drinks and good selection of food. Everyone at the party was pleased with everything. There can be long lines around 6:00 but otherwise not bad. We would defiantly go again. Only wish they were open later. read more

Went here for the first time today 10/10/20 and loved it. Got a DIPA 7% and husband got the saison. Very true to styles and delicious. They have a great beer selection on tap (try either their cherry Bavarian or chocolate peppermint stout - if available, you can totally thank me later). Their food is absolutely delicious. Went there with a friend, bought a flight to try different offerings. The beer was great and that's about it. Ordered brisket sandwich and was really disappointed, food was cold and lacked flavor. There was no seating inside so had to sit outside in the 90+ degree heat. Apparently that's where the families sit so the kids can play in the parking lot with some huge truck tires in the back parking lot. It was loud from the shouting kids and parents really didn't watch them. One kid has a melt down and his mom had to take him away from the other kids, he was hitting his own face in anger‍. Not a good experience at all for my friend and I. We eventually left to have drinks at The Sire and air conditioning. Much better environment. read more

Love this place. It was my first time here, and they have so much seating. Great beers and great food. We shared a country fried steak during their Saturday brunch, and we also got a biscuit on the side. Biscuits here are homemade and they're both crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Saint Patrick's night with a full patio they closed at 8 pm after opening at 5 pm. We had just started enjoying our night when we got the last call at 7:45. I understand closing your kitchen. But when you've got a full patio,warehouse, and interior ready to drink and spend money, then send them all home at 8 makes no sense to me. Food was good but Super expensive. $14 for a chicken sandwich and fries. When asked why they close at 8 o'clock the answer was because we can. Not the best customer service. I guess I'm giving two stars because I didn't want to go home so early. And if I would've made a better choice to go to a different bar that stayed open till at least 10 o'clock, I could've celebrated in true Irish fashion. read more

Absolutely love the family-owned Thompson Brewing! My girlfriend and I are more than happy to travel from SOCAL for some delicious Thompson smoked meats, Mac and cheese, and beers. If you have the opportunity to catch them for a weekend brunch though, I promise you won't be disappointed - everything here is amazing. If you follow them on Instagram, you can get an idea of what beers are on tap and what foods/specials are available. We love this place! Staff is friendly, food is great and it has a nice, chill vibe. There is two levels of seating as well as outdoor seating. There are things for the littles to do as well as the adults (dominoes, large connect 4, checkers, games, etc.). We love to come here for date night. Thompson Brewing Co. is a fantastic hidden gem. It is set up to be a tasting room/area with a few tables and chairs for people to sit and enjoy some great craft beers! There is awesome dark beers as well as very unique lighter beers to please everyone's palette. If you're looking for a place to go with a few friends to just have a drink and get away from the typical bar scene, then this is the place for you. There isn't overbearing loud music (so you can have a conversation) and the atmosphere is very welcoming of everyone. If you haven't tried it yet, you need to look into it. read more

Amazing beers and food, great selection. I love that it was not IPA heavy, there were selections of IPA but it wasn't dominating the menu. The food was off the hook, the ranch and thousand Island are made from scratch. Excellent service and a great atmosphere as well. The line was continually out the door for the hour plus we were here. Thompson Brewing is a great family owned brewery. Everything about it is great from the beer to the food, service and atmosphere. There are several places to eat, an awesome patio, upstairs area, brewery area and a downstairs section that has an area for small children to play. There are a lot of games to play too. I put off checking this place out because my wife and I dont care much for beer. I finally visited when I was looking for a new place to do brunch at and discovered what I was missing. This place is not just a brewery but serves up some really good food. The smoked brisket sandwich has been my favorite item. Now back to the drinks... I just visited this brewery last night but was so impressed by the service and quality of food that I felt compelled to write a review today. As soon as you walk in you're greeted by who I believe are the owners (a family). They make you feel so welcomed - it's like dining with friends. We ordered three flights and while I can't remember the names of everything, all the beer was delicious. We also ordered the Mac n cheese waffle, fried cheese, tater tots, fried pickles and all the food was absolutely delicious. Prices are great you and will definitely get your money's worth.
