Awesome spot! We've had a couple of private parties there. The food is fantastic! The pulled pork sandwiches and baked beans are a personal favorite. The beers are amazing and the staff did such a good job at suggesting to everyone what to try. Thank you Thompson Family and staff! read more

Great local brewery!! Went here with a Groupon to check it out and had a great time. This is a family owned business and they are the nicest, most helpful people. Great selection of beer and food. I loved the variety. Lots of seating inside and out. A very kid friendly place too. We enjoyed playing darts and board games while we were there. We will be returning and bringing family and friends with us! read more

This place was awesome! My husband and I came here for lunch on a Saturday. We brought our dog and he was allowed to join us on the back patio. My husband got the brisket sandwich and said it was great, and I got the jalapeño burger (subbed a veggie patty) and it was delicious! We each got a beer, and both were great. We enjoyed how you can see the brewery as you walk through it to the back patio, and that they supply games to play. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be coming back to try more of their menu! read more

Every food item here is insanely good! Love the seltzer! My family loves all the different beers they have. It's been too long gotta go back for a relaxing seltzer! Don't skip on the brisket it's so good! read more

The husband and I love this place. Great spot to get some delicious food (Buffalo chicken sandwich is amazing)! Wonderful selection of beer that are all tasty! Great service. The only negative comment is my husband and I go to escape from our kids but other families bring their children but this will not stop us from going and enjoying everything Thompson Brewing offers! read more

I came in to taste a few beers. I ended up ordering the best chicken n waffles ever. They call it hot mess using chipotle maple glaze. Heavenly. Of course beers taste good and husband will be happy to receive a 4 pack of ipas he hasn't tasted yet. Il be back next time I'm rolling through Riverside. read more

Came here for brunch. I had the Snickerdoodle Belgian waffle, my husband had the chicken fried steak. One of our friends got the breakfast sandwich, another the breakfast tots. Gravy was on the floury side without much favor. Eggs were over cooked. Food was ok. To be fair, this is only serve breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. Our other friend got the Hot Mess Sandwich and said it was good. I got the stout they had. It was good. I will come back another time and try the lunch menu. read more

Thompson Brewing Co. is a fantastic hidden gem. It is set up to be a tasting room/area with a few tables and chairs for people to sit and enjoy some great craft beers! There is awesome dark beers as well as very unique lighter beers to please everyone's palette. If you're looking for a place to go with a few friends to just have a drink and get away from the typical bar scene, then this is the place for you. There isn't overbearing loud music (so you can have a conversation) and the atmosphere is very welcoming of everyone. If you haven't tried it yet, you need to look into it. read more

Saw this place on Instagram and thought we'd give it a try for our first fully vaccinated outing. We were really hoping to get the brisket Mac n cheese and when we went to order, they were sold out!! We almost just left, but we are SO GLAD we didn't. Instead we tried fried pickles, mozzarella sticks, the hot mess chicken sandwich and the pork fries. Nothing disappointed. In fact, it was DELICIOUS! The blueberry lemon sour was awesome. We ate everything so enthusiastically we didn't even take pictures. Next time for sure!! We will be back. read more

Hi ! I'm Nat I came here on a date night with my boo this past Saturday Jul 20. The ambiance was chill although it was rather packed , the staff were great at tending to the high volume of people , what I would say about the seating situation I would've enjoyed a heads up , you walk in line to order and you have a table of people dining in not too far between the line and the kitchen and the front counter . I go up these stairs on the right but but there's another staircase on the left upstairs , where it's very homey which we enjoyed. They had some great class card games , multiplayer games to play with family or friends etc bar stool seating plus table seating. Again it was a Saturday night so it was definitely packed but I did see staff cleaning bussin' tables and serving guests , I feel that we did get our food sooner however we did just order wagyu burgers. I wish we took pictures before eating it but we definitely enjoyed the food lol ( try the spicy ranch , maple chipotle) read more

Food was good. I ordered the brisket mac and cheese and it was very filling. My family ordered mostly burgers/chicken sandwiches and they said that the buns were too small for the meat. It kept falling apart. Our substitutions we asked for weren't acknowledged, we had ordered no lettuce or tomatoes and they still came with it on the food. All in all, they liked the tator tots and food, just needed the buns to be bigger. read more

Beer is good , people are crazy. Highly recommend this place for some suds. The selections are awesome

Was planning a 50th for a friend and came upon this place. Had lots of space food and drinks. Upon emailing Thompson they were helpful with the reservation and promo with email responses. They were even nice enough to allow us to store our birthday cake in their freezer. They had plenty of seating. A variety of drinks and good selection of food. Everyone at the party was pleased with everything. There can be long lines around 6:00 but otherwise not bad. We would defiantly go again. Only wish they were open later. read more

Outstanding!! First time here. The staff was very friendly, brews were cold and great, food was awesome. I had the weekly special, onion ring bbq burger, and wife had a pulled pork sandwich. Great environment as we found our new hang out and go to spot. read more

I didn't have any beer while I visited so I can't comment on that, although I'm sure they are awesome! The food was absolutely incredible. The service was great and we loved that there were board games to play while we hung out. read more

Tucked into a light industrial park, surrounded by welding shops & the like, Thompson Brewing Company turns out small-batch, extraordinarily drinkable beers of almost every variety. The owners are great people, who usually have their kids & dogs hangin' out with them. Take a snack with you, or munch on the pretzels they usually have out. Caution - its not air-conditioned, so if its hot, dress lightly. read more

The Groupon deal and the beers itself were great. The owner and his son are very nice. This is a great spot! I highly recommend it.

Went here for the first time today 10/10/20 and loved it. Got a DIPA 7% and husband got the saison. Very true to styles and delicious. We are homebrewers and love to see exposed breweries and see what they have for equipment. Got the veggie burger and wow very good. It has a fresh pretzel bun. Yum!! read more

First time here and really enjoyed it. Already anxious to go back. About a dozen house brews to choose from. Pricing was reasonable. Board games, cards, darts, comic books, cool place to relax and enjoy some good beers. My favorite thing here was the food! Burger was great! Giant soft pretzel was great. Loaded tater tots were great! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a beer and a burger. read more

This is our second time to Thompson's and it just confirmed how much we enjoy it here. They have a great beer selection on tap (try either their cherry Bavarian or chocolate peppermint stout - if available, you can totally thank me later). Their food is absolutely delicious. We tried their pub burger and cheesy loaded tots (pictured). It has a ton of flavor and pair great with their beer. Super kid friendly. We love to support small businesses and especially family run and operated ones. Thompson's is an awesome. Stop reading this and go. Like now. read more

Absolutely love the family-owned Thompson Brewing! My girlfriend and I are more than happy to travel from SOCAL for some delicious Thompson smoked meats, Mac and cheese, and beers. If you have the opportunity to catch them for a weekend brunch though, I promise you won't be disappointed - everything here is amazing. If you follow them on Instagram, you can get an idea of what beers are on tap and what foods/specials are available. We've been guilty to come on a random Wednesday for a hatch Chile Mac and cheese brisket. Again, it's all worth it! read more

Love this place. It was my first time here, and they have so much seating. Great beers and great food. We shared a country fried steak during their Saturday brunch, and we also got a biscuit on the side. Biscuits here are homemade and they're both crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The country fried steak also came with delicious gravy and crispy tots. Loved the environment and the food, really glad I stumbled my way into here! read more

Love this place. Great beer, great food, great vibes. Super friendly staff. Definitely my Sunday afternoon spot

We love this place! Staff is friendly, food is great and it has a nice, chill vibe. There is two levels of seating as well as outdoor seating. There are things for the littles to do as well as the adults (dominoes, large connect 4, checkers, games, etc.). We love to come here for date night. We like the beer as well, you're able to sample it too. Def recommend! read more

Fantastic beer, good food & great atmosphere!! We'll definitely be coming back again!!

Lots of good beers on tap they also have decent Porter had a good dark beer! Okay Friendly place and very busy on Fridays

Amazing beers and food, great selection. I love that it was not IPA heavy, there were selections of IPA but it wasn't dominating the menu. The food was off the hook, the ranch and thousand Island are made from scratch. Excellent service and a great atmosphere as well. The line was continually out the door for the hour plus we were here. Cheers to you guys! read more

Great family run business! Called in day of and got a reservation through Martha. She set us up with two tables for a bday next to kids area. Saint Patrick's night with a full patio they closed at 8 pm after opening at 5 pm. We had just started enjoying our night when we got the last call at 7:45. I understand closing your kitchen. But when you've got a full patio, warehouse, and interior ready to drink and spend money, then send them all home at 8 makes no sense to me. Food was good but Super expensive. $14 for a chicken sandwich and fries. When asked why they close at 8 o'clock the answer was because we can. Not the best customer service. I guess I'm giving two stars because I didn't want to go home so early. And if I would've made a better choice to go to a different bar that stayed open till at least 10 o'clock, I could've celebrated in true Irish fashion. read more

The best bbq I've ever had in riverside. The location is deceiving but it's such a fun place and the food is unreal.

Foods great! Service was great! Highly recommend!! Sours on point! Many beers to choose from and great outdoor patio to enjoy your drinks!

Place is awesome! Staff and beer were excellent!! Food was surprisingly good, the tots were the "bees knees, the cats pajamas". Plenty of room to sit, and lots of games. 10/10 would come again. Recommend to anyone who's looking for good food and better beer. read more
