Such a cool little place, with a fun menu. My whole family, 8 year old included, enjoy going here. She loves the root beer, and my husband and I love their fun craft beer selection (of course!). The menu would be considered upscale bar food. They have different types "loaded" fries and tater tots, which you can add cheese, onions, bacon, chili, blue cheese, jalapeño and so on. They have fun gastropub type hamburgers and "shareables"- which include crusted wings, cucumber bites, and other cool little bite size items. Beer is good, lots of Belgian types, which is a nice change from some of the other breweries that try to "hop" you to death. read more

I love this place so much that I come all the way from Irvine. The food is amazing. Their Chef Corey has been producing some amazing stuff. And of course the BEER, sweet nectar of the gods! Thompson brewing has been making the best beer for years. Having the ability to get food now just adds to it. Brian and Martha are the owners and really create a family environment. Looking for a great non chain burger place, read they had great bisquits and gravy (saturday 12 to 4). Burger was great, nothing overpowered in taste, all worked well together. Tried the mac and cheese crisp, great flavor and texture, best mac n cheese ever(and I don't like mac n cheese). Biscuits are home made as is the gravy great flavor. Owner is very personable. They have a variety of seating choices, but at some point with as busy as they are could use an upgrade. That is the only reason not a 5th star read more

Fun, local family-run brewery with a good variety of beers, food, patio, and games. I tried this brewery with my brother-in-law over 5 years ago when they were just starting out in an industrial park with their 2 kids hanging out. They now have a much bigger space, and the kids are grown and working there. Very cool. I like the flights - 6 for about $6. I tried everything from some light sours to Belgians to IPAs to stouts, with most beers rating good to very good. I liked seeing some uncommon styles like ESB, and the scotch ale was particularly good. FYI ABVs listed at the brewery may be different from what's on Untappd. Family and friends really liked what they had. (We didn't try the food - maybe next time.) read more

Love this place. The food is great and we love the blond beer and lemonade. The only draw back is seating. The have plenty of it just not if you have any physical limitations (I have bad knee and can't do the tables outside and can't navigate stairs easily) other than that this place only gets 5 stars. Stopped in on Fathers Day Sunday after leaving a tasting at ROUTE 30 Brewery across the street. It was my first time at both. We thought they were closed, but a patron at ROUTE 30 advised they were open for a special Father's Day event. It was near to closing, but my husband and I thought we'd stop by to check it out for the next time we were in the area. We were so happy that we did. The owner Brian welcomed us as soon as we walked in, after explaining that we just wanted to check out the Brewery, he let us know of all the areas they had and even let us sample some splashes of beer. It was such a good feeling to see a family owned business like this. We even had a chance to try some AMAZING mixed berry cobbler that was on special for the day! They had plenty of seating areas, fresh homemade food options, lot's of variety for beer options, and kid friendly. Comic books, darts, lots of board games, life size jenga and connect four, and so much more. Can't wait to come back with my husband and kids to have a full experience. read more

Came here on a whim with a groupon and it was totally worth it. We had the tasting flights and a pretzel with cheese (soo good). Cranberry triple Belgium beer was our fav. Been coming here for a few months now and it was nothing but the best. But this last time was horrible. I ordered take out and it was wrong when I got home. When I called to let them know it was wrong the guy on the phone was very unconcerned about it and with how much I go there it just left a bad taste in my mouth. I will say I did go back and they remade the part of the order that was wrong but by the time I got back home everything else was ice cold. Not sure when I'll be going back at this point. read more

Love this place! It is family run and they are all so amazingly sweet hard working and most of all they make you feel comfortable and 1000% welcome. They switch up their beers and the flavors never disappoint, always so good! The food is Ahhhhhhmazing ! Most breweries do not have food but this place has such GREAT tasting food and generous portions. You get your money's worth on everything at Thompson's. Also I have coordinated a couple bday parties/get together's and they are so accommodating with making sure we all have space and are comfortable to enjoy ourselves. Kid friendly too! read more

First, I'm going to say that the food was unbelievably delicious, and the staff was super duper friendly. That being said, if you have never been here, and are expecting an actual restaurant where you are seated and served, you will be disappointed. It's more of a fast food type place where you walk up to the counter, place your order, and someone brings it to you. I was off put by this my first time there, and felt like someone should have put this in a review, so people aren't expecting one thing, and show up to something completely different. This place is awesome!! I started with the 2oz "sample" of 6 of their beers and then the pitchers were flowing! We had a party of 8 and they were extremely accommodating and so kind. The food was incredible!! The entire table ordered something different and each person loved their food. Love this brewery!! Took our dogs and family today, awesome atmosphere, their outdoor patio is great! Super kid friendly and dog friendly. Haven't seen so many well behaved pups in a long time! Was surprised at how good their food was! We got the spicy chicken sandwhich, brisket burger and brisket nachos... all of it was on point! All of the beers we tried were really good too! The food is always amazing! From-scratch fried pickles and ranch are a must-try. The employees go out of their way to suggest drinks and food you might like based on your preferences. There's an open back patio with tables and a huge connect 4 game. Upstairs has a big Scrabble board. There's a kids' corner with toys too. The beers were great and so was the food I decided to try out the Pub Burger which was the one PE recommended definitely lived up to the hype. We were also able to use a coupon purchased on Groupon. Beer was good, food was good, COVID safety precautions: pretty bad. We went yesterday for the time time and were impressed by the beer selection and the bbq brisket offerings. We got the burger, which was ok, not great, but a generous size. The beer was also yummy. We thought we had found a post-climbing spot to refuel. That was until we got up to leave and saw that there were other customers in line to order not wearing masks, and the staff did not ask them to put them on. Other customers who had been dining in were also walking around the front dining area (indoors) without masks and the staff again said nothing. Customers at the order counter talking directly with the staff, not wearing masks. Then to top it off, we saw two staff members, both of whom handled food in the grill and as runners, not wearing masks and talking like it was no big deal. We got a really bad vibe of the place then and there. It honestly felt like we were at some Trumpster rally. What a disappointment. Regardless of how tasty the food and beer may be, we can't return to a food establishment that disregards the seriousness of the pandemic and has such poor restaurant safety policies with its staff and customers. read more

Our family had a craving for some BBQ tonight and wanted to try something new. Saw this place had many great reviews, and came in to place a carry out order. I really wanted this place to be great, but the food was just OK. The brisket sandwich was dry, coleslaw dressing was bland and watery, mac and cheese didn't taste that cheesy. My wife's brisket nachos were delicious. The staff working the register was very nice and helpful. They took the time to explain and help me pick out some beers to bring home. Had the coffee creme while I was there, and it was really good. The IPAs I've tried at home have just been OK, but looking forward to try the others. The atmosphere is welcoming and family friendly, and thinking about bringing them to eat in. I am looking forward to giving this place another shot. Love the whole beer and BBQ concept, and all the other reviews seem to be great...maybe just an off night in the kitchen tonight. read more

Great beer, great food, awesome staff. The Mosaic IPA and Honey Blonde were our favorites. Went this past weekend with my GF and out dog. I wasn't sure if they were dog friendly, i was looking at their pictures and saw a couple with some dogs, so i figured they were. We met some friends on a Saturday. We ordered appetizers - m&c crisp, deep fried pickles, hush puppies, German pretzel, spicy jalapeño tots and an order of biscuits and gravy, and various beers. The place was packed, which is good! However, all the food with the exception of the biscuits and gravy were over cooked (or burnt, depending on how you look at it). The biscuits and gravy were spot on. I don't drink, but my friends all liked the various brews. I'd have to go back. I want to try the burgers. Tried this place on a whim, the beer was good, the food was phenomenal and there are multiple options for seating. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We were surprised with the tasting samples, with it being our first time there we didn't know which beer to try so they allowed us to taste it before we bought it. That is such a great thing to offer, I hate buying a full beer just to find out I don't like it. So kudos for that!! And just because I didn't spend enough time on the food, I'll go back to it. It was delicious, really good, a lot of breweries have food just to have it but the food here has so much flavor, good bbq flavors and good portions.
