I just visited this brewery last night but was so impressed by the service and quality of food that I felt compelled to write a review today. As soon as you walk in you're greeted by who I believe are the owners (a family). They make you feel so welcomed - it's like dining with friends. We ordered three flights and while I can't remember the names of everything, all the beer was delicious. We also ordered the Mac n cheese waffle, fried cheese, tater tots, fried pickles and all the food was absolutely delicious. Prices are great you and will definitely get your money's worth. We enjoyed a girls' night out of not only food and drinks, but darts/games/Jenga/air hockey. It's like Dave&Buster's without the price tag + the friendliness and coziness of a local ma & pa. I highly recommend. read more

Thompson Brewing - Martha and staff treated our entire party of 65 like family! Excellent service the food was outstandingly tasty.#lanceup - American Near Me - Riverside, California

SO delicious! Everything we ordered had such delicious flavor. The Mac and cheese is a must try!

Awesome burgers! Staff is very friendly! This is a family owned business! I went here for dinner and a few drinks the night before I got married. read more

Went there with a friend, bought a flight to try different offerings. The beer was great and that's about it. Ordered brisket sandwich and was really disappointed, food was cold and lacked flavor. There was no seating inside so had to sit outside in the 90+ degree heat. Apparently that's where the families sit so the kids can play in the parking lot with some huge truck tires in the back parking lot. It was loud from the shouting kids and parents really didn't watch them. One kid has a melt down and his mom had to take him away from the other kids, he was hitting his own face in anger‍. Not a good experience at all for my friend and I. We eventually left to have drinks at The Sire and air conditioning. Much better environment. read more

I've been three times now, and I have not had anything I didn't like! The sour beers are delicious and I can't stop eating the quesatacos when I go. The vibe is very chill and the staff is soooo friendly. I will definitely be back to try more! Oh and boozey slushies! Need I say more?! read more

I am not a beer drinker but my fiancé is. He's been telling me how good the food is and always wanting to come here for lunch. I finally gave in and the food was amazing!! I had the Ruben sandwich and fried pickles! Honestly my mouth is watering even thinking about it because it was sooooo good! I also had a ice cold Dr.Pepper lol. Even if you don't drink beer they have plenty of other beverage options and a very yummy menu! I will definitely be back! read more

We loved this place. Stopped along the way on a road trip. Great food, nice people. Fun games for the family to play.

I can not say enough AMAZING THINGS about this place! Been coming here on and off for a while. It's honestly one of Riverside's hidden gems! Great craft beer, amazing owners and support staff, fun games, family friendly environment! Everyone is always so kind and helpful. I decided last minute to celebrate my birthday here and invited friends family and co workers. I had a pretty large group and this place was already packed and had another even going on (a wedding I think?) yet everyone here at Thompson was so accommodating and mindful of my party! Honestly made my birthday! Can't thank you all enough for making my evening so special! They brew one of my favorite beers in the inland empire! Cranberry Belgian Tripel!!! read more

Great food and awesome service. Beer is good and atmosphere is great.. been here a few times and never disappointed

This place is the place! The food is fantastic! You won't find a $6 burger but the quality is unhooked. The brews on tap are quite good. Make sure you ask about the rootbeer! It's a hidden gem crafted by the kid there. The atmosphere is A wonderful and the staff is very welcoming and accommodating. They have games scattered all over the tables, comics upstairs and table tennis and corn hole in the back. You can actually walk right behind the scenes here. Some of the food may come off as a little pricy but I encourage you to try it. They really made something special here. Go and have a conversation with them, enjoy a good night. I really do not have much to say bad about it... It isn't fancy inside. Its just a family that made a brewery. read more

I finally got the chance to check this place out, and man am I glad I did! From the moment I walked in I was greeted friendly, and the beers were GREAT! I tried a flight with a variety of each category since I'm a beer lover, and I would say my two favorites were the Juicy IPA and the Smokey Brown. The Juicy IPA was super smooth and the Smokey Brown has such a unique flavor that I fell in love with. I will definitely be coming by more often, especially that I live a walking distance away. I hear the food is great, I will give that a try during my next visit. read more

Been wanting to come to this Brewery since it's walking distance from my home. Before going any where I always check if there dog friendly. I looked on yelp and says this place is dog friendly. So we went inside with our dog. First thing that was said as soon as we went in was if our dog was a service dog and only except's service dogs. No hi, no greeting... so we just turned around, left and went to Route 30 Brewery and they are super dog friendly! read more

Great variety of beer and I wanted to try this place for the longest and I was around the area so why not?

Had a gender reveal party here utilizing their upstairs space. Was a success. Food was good, service was good and everyone was very helpful. I would recommend this location for your events. read more

Update. My son and I have been back 5 or 6 times. Neither of us are beer drinkers, but the family atmosphere and consistently delectable offerings keep us coming back. We're so taken with Thompson's Brewing that we've brought different family and friends along when we go. Everyone has the same experience.....fantastic service (you'll be treated like family), great food (tacos, the award winning burger and the Mac n cheese with the pulled pork), and welcoming experience. My one complaint......not open for late lunches or a quick bite in the afternoons.....weekdays. So happy to have this establishment in Riverside! read more

This is our new favorite local brewery! Other breweries in the area are bland compared to what is offered at Thompson's. We absolutely ADORE Brian, Martha, Bella, Corbin and all the others! We are always greeted with a warm and friendly hello, and Corbin often comes to play with our 12 and 8 year olds, which is so nice! I love their burgers and the bleu cheese tots!!! The cranberry Belgium is the best, but all the beers are perfect!!! I like that they aren't IPA heavy.... I appreciate all the warm touches such as board games, comics, darts, ring toss, ping pong, etc! There is so much for us to do without being distracted by electronics! Thompson's is a true family-oriented, and run, small business and I am so happy they are in Riverside!!! read more

They told us we could go up and play with their broken darts..that was not possible, so we played some super-size Uno. The homemade chili was great, so we're the beers! read more

I put off checking this place out because my wife and I dont care much for beer. I finally visited when I was looking for a new place to do brunch at and discovered what I was missing. This place is not just a brewery but serves up some really good food. The smoked brisket sandwich has been my favorite item. Now back to the drinks... While we don't drink beer we tried the seltzers here and it was amazing especially the cranberry pineapple which to this day remains our favorite seltzer ever even after trying other options from so many other breweries in SoCal. read more

Riverside this is a must try! Great people, AMAZING food and delicious beer! My first time I tried the beer flight so I could get a taste of a few beers. The burgers are so GOOD! I love the pub sauce so tasty! Pulled pork fries are a must try. They also do a fried Mac n cheese appetizer that will definitely satisfy your cheese craving! Family run business with great food! Check them out! Thank you Thompson!! read more

Had a going away party there on a Friday night. They had the upstairs reserved for us which was great. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the food and beverages read more

Love their own brewed beer and food...The only complaint is that too many noisy young kids are squealing about. Don't find that element too inviting.... Aside from that, I loved their beer but just not the snotty nosed ambiance of excessive amounts of kids present. Sorry about sniveling about the "family friendly " atmosphere 'cause I get what the place is trying to achieve and appeal to within the community, but I'd just prefer an adult environment... read more

This was a great place to come to my first time here staff very friendly and help you through all the beer selections they let you test the beer first ordered there brisket Mac n cheese was crazy good very satisfied with their hazy selection the only thing I can say that I didn't like is that they aren't open longer a must try spot for sure 9-10 read more

Thompson Brewing is a great family owned brewery. Everything about it is great from the beer to the food, service and atmosphere. There are several places to eat, an awesome patio, upstairs area, brewery area and a downstairs section that has an area for small children to play. There are a lot of games to play too. The restrooms are always clean and the music is loud in there, it's awesome. The employees are always friendly and helpful. We love this place! read more

Couldn't find the zero stars. But very overpriced and not good. Food tasted very average and tasted like it was microwaved. It was very little and portioned by the seems of it. Sorry Thompson brewing:(. Won't be here again read more

Came for the beer, stayed for the food. So many things to love about this place, the staff are all awesome and friendly and it's even more apparent when you see them interact with their regulars. Awesome variety of beers and I appreciate all the options of sours. They also serve different flavored booze slushies every weekend. The food is insane- can never go wrong with the smoked meats like pork fries to share or a dummy thicc burger to gorge on solo. I love that they're always rotating their menu and their weekend brunch dishes are AMAZING. Fingers crossed for the colossal chicken wings to make a comeback soon. read more

I don't know what's better, their food or their Beer. Either way it's top notch. Very chill family friendly atmosphere. Its spacious and open with 3 large rooms and outside benches as well. Wow! What a cool local brewery. Family feel with great food and a great selection craft beers. The customer base was from families to people doing a beer crawl. Brian and his staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make sure everything was great. I'll be back. I had a simple dinner, Chicken strips, but they were well cooked. My buddy had the Craft Burger and it was off he chart, the menu has a great selection, you won't be disappointed. Thank you! read more
